《That Time I Fell From The Sky》Chapter 3: Escape

With a cold look he stares at the guards waiting to see what happens next. 'Who will attack next? What will they use? Magic or weapons?' He thinks about these endless questions as he watches the guards as they tremble in fear after they had just witnessed their strongest leader get defeated before their very eyes.
Without knowing exactly how their strongest leader got defeated by such a 'small' girl they soon start asking questions, "what just happened?" "Renol is down!?" and soon these turn into confusions among the guards, And unfortunately for them this also solidifies the rumors they previously heard about her.
"We can't defeat her!" some of the guards air out their fears, "even Emagication can't kill her!" with such words the confusion only grows more.
Seeing this the lord's guards shield the fat lord to protect him. "what are you all doing, Kill Her!!!" says lord Mo' Ron. Every other guard surround Roz with spears and swords.
'I can barely stand,' Roz thinks as he looks around for a way out of this mess. "hey Rayer, you there?" he asks her.
"y- ya" she speaks. Faintly.
"ha ha" he masters a weak faint laugh, "you too huh? That Emagication thing really did a number on us."
"I am surprised am still alive. I guess i can thank you for that... Hey, everything was blurring for me after the Emagication spell was done on me, what happened?"
"Well, i took down your muscle boy over there," he slowly turns his head to look at the passed out Renol on the ground.
"What!? How?"
"The question you should be more focused on is how the hell we are getting out of here. Am open to ideas."

"Let me think," she goes quiet.
The guards start closing in on him and though they are afraid they seem to be courageous enough to fight someone they cannot defeat.
"Any time soon Rayer, can't pretend to be strong any longer and soon they will figure it out and attack"
"I hear you but I need more time"
"Please think faster because those pointy spears look like they are going to hurt when they hit me," he jokes as he holds his stance.
"Ok ok!!" she snaps, "uhm... Renol"
"yeah, what about him?" he turns to face him again.
"Renol must have a red bottle on him. Find it"
"Sure, and how will it help?" he quickly kneels down. Actually, he falls to his knees. "Damn, i am seriously wasted," he says as he searches.
"Found it!" he pulls out a small red bottle from Renol's clothes and it contains a seemingly red liquid inside it .
"Drink it"
"What??"
"Drink it now! It will renew your strength"
"Ok, sure" he drinks all of it and within seconds he starts to feel much much stronger. "Ohh ho ho.. now that's what am taking about," he smiles as he moves his arms around. His body feels lighter.
As soon as his strength is restored Rayer starts chanting some spells and a small stream of air begins to circle around him forming a small whirlwind that grows rapidly.
The guards see this and they rush to attack him before the spell is complete.
Rayer controls his hands and spreads them out and immediately the small whirlwind blows everyone in sight. The whirlwind grows even bigger and clouds up the entire arena with strong dusty winds. Everyone starts exiting the arena in masses.
Roz seizes this opportunity to escape and heads back towards the exit where even the guards are escaping for their lives.

He quickly runs through the hallways and passes the cells and sees the final exit up ahead.
"Help! please help!!!" he hears the busty girls' voice call out to him in the cell right next to him and he stops and turns. "Please help.. get us out of here," she begs him.
He grabs the lock and pulls. It snaps and the three escape along side all other prisoners who were locked with them.
They steal the first carriage they find and escape.
***
As the sun sets the mages finally manage to cancel out the whirlwind spell that Murler cast on the arena and slowly the dust clears.
The guards and the mages sweep through the dust to pick up corpses and survivors. The corpses are bagged and sent out while the survivors are healed with healing magic by the mages.
After a long while searching they finally find Renol among the dusty rubble. The guards pull him out and the mages heal him with magic and he wakes up and he is very angry.
"Sir the healing magic is complete are you feeling well?" the head mage asks him.
Renol stands up and looks around at the arena seeing what the spell Murler cast has done.
The arena is generally fine but all things that were loose have been completely displaced from where they were before he passed out.
He looks down at his hands in silence for a short while and he slowly takes a deep breath.
He slowly walks back and sits on the chair the guards brought him and asks them, "what happened?"
The head mage tells him the full account of what happened and where she was last seen heading.
Renol slowly gets up and commands the mages.. "Get your men. We are going on a witch hunt."

A quest that just might end up changing the fate of the entire world. ————————————————————————————————————- What do readers say about it? ————————————————————————————————————- "Aethernea is my absolute favorite read on wattpad, I love it as much as I love Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad
