Jason woke up in a bright and fresh mood. He brushed his teeth took a shower, ate breakfast which he made himself and hopped into the capsule.

When he was logging in, it hit him. He didn't ask Perseus or Arjuna how they were doing. Well whatever, he was sure they were doing fine since they had a level advantage also.

He opened his eyes to the red-themed room again. Honestly, Jason started to dislike the color red after living in a room full of it for a few hours. Still with how he was lead here to the place, by a random woman felt like something from the horror movies. He was wandering around the house, like a bloke with no manners, and came upon a servant dressed in (you guessed it) regular maid clothes.

Compared to the bright colors of the mansion the maid looked and felt like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. Jason had to stare at her for a bit just to get rid of the hideous red that was almost permanently seared into his brain.

The maid a bit put off by Jason's direct stares at her clothes stammered

"um sir, the missus has told us to guide you to the meeting room"

She showed Jason the way along the red carpets and bright red walls until they reached the meeting room Jason had originally sat down in for 30 seconds.

There the mysterious lady sat waiting for him, Jason was finally able to view her name portrayed above her head. Before he wasn't able to for some reason. Her name was Megra and her name was highlighted in a reddish glow. Jason sat down and awkwardly faced her not sure of what to do.

Megra was the one who broke the silence.

"first of all, I want to thank you for punishing that thief from before and escorting me back to my family's estate"

"Ah yes it wasn't a problem"

Jason answered normally but inside he and Boops were very confused.

Megra seemed to be taken aback at her manners

"Ah! I haven't introduced myself self, have I? I am Megra a member of the rose family."

Jason said curtly

"Arch"

Megra smiled a beaming smile to Jason

"well it was a pleasure meeting you, Mr. Arch"

Jason replied with a cautious smile

"yeah likewise,"

"let's discuss the rewards than"

Megra pulled out a bag of money and laid some gold coins on the small table in front of her.

"4 gold coins should be fine right?"

Jason nodded his head, a bit too vigorously but Megra paid it no attention.

Jason extended his hand out to grab the coins when Megra grabbed his outstretched hand.

For the first time, Jason clearly gazed into her face. She beautiful brown hair that had red strands intertwined, a fair complexion that would rival beauties of reality, a smooth jawline, and direct light red almost pink eyes that had an intense stare in them. Before Jason could admire her feature and further she started speaking while grabbing his arm.

"I have a proposition for you,"

Boops spoke for the first time in a while

'this can either be really good or really bad,'

Jason wanted to internally roll his eyes

'yeah no shit sherlock'

Megra looked at Jason in the eyes

"I think you have potential, will you work under me?"

Jason had to think hard, along with Boops, they started to weight the benefits of the job.

Boops began

'well I think we should refuse it and get the money'

Jason replied

'but we invest all of our stat points into getting onto her good side'

Boops's reasoning dissipated and his voice died out as he said in a soft mutter

'ah yeah that happened'

Jason said in a slightly worried tone

'im a bit worried that you forgot about that'

Boops suddenly said to Jason

'but if we do this we won't have time to set up a guild or anything.'

Jason waved it off

'we can leave it to the twins we need an income and with the way she flaunted her money, shes a good source.'

Boops sighed and gave up again

'aww fine, I thought we were going to claw our way up into this or something.'

Jason turned to Megra

"I accept"

Megra clapped her hands.

"Excellent choice! well, I'll send Lucy to show you around the place she'll give you the job details"

Jason gave a polite "yes" and followed the maid from earlier.
