The rest of the battles was hard and the battles well fought...
Sike, nope they weren't, Jason murdered them with his level 10 gaming skill. The rest of the gamers never stood a chance when they were 2 levels behind him. Jason only had a bit of struggle when they last two teams the Death Reapers and Ice Waves. But in the end the tall cats walked away with the championship under the envy of almost everyone in the arena.

Jason said goodbye to everyone and hopped on the train back home as he headed home he started to talk to Boops.
'so that was the last tournament before WOW releases, now what?'
Boops answered
'well we have around 2 days and we have a week off of school, so I would suggest you train and get ready for the start.'
Jason tossed his head back in exaspiration
'eh I guess I have nothing else to do'
So Jason got ready for a 48 hour "grinding" session on his skills.

A bomb was thrown into the competitive community. If Squidboy breaking the record in reaching Platinum was an explosion, then Squidboy taking the NOU championship without dying while even while carrying his teammates was like a certain red mage girl screaming "EXPLOSION".
Anyways, the community was pleasantly surprised before when Squidboy was mentioned, but now they put on their glasses and started to analyze and talk really fast like the nerds they were. The community was huge (obviously) and now it could be considered fairly popular and any person who spent more than 6 hours a day in the community had heard of him.

The various companies and people had finally gotten a name from an unanimous source.
In a red building about 5 stories tall Captain Sarah of the Death Reapers picked up a piece of paper. She read
(Jason from Kanto Prefecture High School.)
That was his name and they also knew where he went to school, but she slammed her forehead on the desk in annoyance. The School had 1 week off and they had no idea where he was. She grumbled and though of how the ice waves were going to get their hands on him first.
She sighed and swept her light brown hair and told the person standing next to her.
"go and start combing through the home addresses and phone numbers for a Jason"
The person nodded
"yes, I understand"
Back at Jason's place 3 people were intensely watching the tv, In front of them was a female idol group by the name of Blue moon.
Jason while having his eyes glued to a certain elegant-looking lady on the left, he asked Perseus and Arjuna while munching on some popcorn.
"so how have are your plans been going?"
Perseus was the first to talk
"ehhh there's nothing really significant happening, I mean we made a few connections, but I haven't found a company I think we can work with."
Jason nodded to himself, that was expected since they had litterally just started searching for a suitable partner. He turned to look at the other twin was had his eyes on the tomboyish girl of the idol group.
"Arjuna who about you?"
Arjuna replied without looking away from the tv
"I made a few friends, but most want me to prove my skills, so I haven't gotten anywhere yet"
Boops concluded what everyone was thinking
'hah I think we are all at a dead stop till the game comes out'

All three of them sighed simultaneously
Boops attempted to cheer up the 3 "brothers"
'Cheer up guys! the game is coming out in two days!'
Jason stood up and said with a face that was trying not to get sad.
"Alright let's train our leadership skill then!"
Jason then pulled out a red button that was labeled with tape as the "leadership training room"
When pressed the button, a portal like the one they used to travel to Alexis appeared but much smaller.
When they entered it, everything became like a game, you would be thrown into a large simulation where you would be tested on many different scenarios. From political things to commanding large armies anything that had to do with leadership was simulated and tested there.
2 days passed like the blink of an eye.
And Jason's status started to look pretty good

Along for the Ride
Every child born on the continent of West Cartia is taught about the Great Goblin War but what the annals of history fail to mention is that the entirety of the conflict could be traced back to a group of four friends who stumbled into the currents of fate in search of a fantasy novel. This is the story of how a band of bookworms realized that when destiny pulled hard enough, struggling was futile; it was best to relax and go along for the ride. "A breezy, good time with all the trappings of high fantasy fun." - someone eventually (hopefully)
