Jason reached the school a few minutes later the red dots followed behind him maintaining their distance but keeping a watch one him, following him even when he got to school. He watched them on the map, throughout the class and eventually when lunch started he saw them all simultaneously retreat, almost like they were given order at that moment.
The class was easy (because he knew everything) and he was even the top of the class. He had made a few other friends like the person sitting next to him in math class. His name was Jones and he was a quiet and friendly person, but every time he looked at somebody or something for too long he would focus involuntarily and his eyes would look like they were giving death stares. In fact Jason would have thought that Jones was just a person who liked to keep to himself until he peeked at his status.
Jones
[status: healthy]
[name: Jones]
[sex: male]
[age: 15]
[skills: martial arts (karate) level 4]
[strategies level 3]
[innate talents/skills: (silent but deadly), (piercing eyes)]
[silent but deadly]
[details: the person with this talent listens and digests everything he hears and is able to use his knowledge in clear, concise ways, He will grow up into a very wise person in the future)
[piercing eyes]
(eyes that will inflict fear into a person's heart unless they have a high amount of resistance or courage. Excellent in scaring away enemies!)
[evaluation: a wise man in the making, recruit at all costs!]
Jason stared at Jones with an intense glare at first, his desire for Jones was so great that he just couldn't help but look at his status over and over again. Dreaming of how great it was.
Jones saw him staring and didn't take it to well, thinking it was another person picking a fight with him again for scaring somebody he didn't even now about.

So when Jason started to approach him when he was outside, he turned around and gave him a silent glare that usually sent people running like their lives depended on it, but not this time. Jason seemed to completely ignore the glare Jones gave. Instead he seemed to be looking at something else while he approached Jones. It was a bit weird since their was nothing in front of Jason. But Jones chalked it up to him thinking about something,
Jason approached him and his eyes seemed to snap back into focus he said immediately with glinting eyes
"will you be my friend?"
It sounded generic, but Jason hated beating around the bush. Jason used his sub-system and looked at what Jones greatly desired a few minutes ago, Jason was prepared to promise him great riches or knowledge and glory. But when he looked at Jones one word popped up, it was companionship. Just that word, companionship.
Jones had been alone his whole life, his parents left him early on and he had no close relatives or siblings. Thankfully a few rich people took pity on him and gave him a place to rent and live in. But with his eyes, and with little to no social experience, he was deemed a loner since day one.
Eventually he accepted his loner identity and even started to enjoy the solitude he had. Everything was peaceful and harmonious, he could think of interesting things and let his thoughts wander off into places nobody had imagined. It was enjoyable but it was hard. It was hard spending days in a room with nobody bothering to tell him to get out to exercise, or to eat healthily. It was hard when he missed a few days of class and nobody noticed his absence. He was spending days alone playing games, watching shows and reading books, he was proud of his knowledge, but he wanted somebody to share that knowledge with.

In the end was a lonely child a highly intelligent one. Who had lost his way and was too scared to ask for help.
Jones could easily understand what was wrong with him, but at the same time, he didn't think that it was all bad, so he tried to keep it that way. His rationality became a chain that held back his desire, no, his cry for human companionship.
Until the person in front of him named Jason Archer opened his eyes. He just smiled and said a simple "will you be my friend"
but internally Jones freaked out.
He started to think about all the possibilities and reasons why he said it. He even thought that Jason was gay and was approaching him for other less moral reasons. But in the end, when he looked into Jason's fierce and honest eyes he sighed and replied
"why do you want to be my friend?"
Jason without missing a beat bounced back
"you seem skilled and want to be friends will talented people"
Jones frowned and replied "isn't that a bit shallow?"
Jason smiled and put his hands on his head in a resting position.
"Yeah, but I'm sure you would do the same thing in my position."
Jones didn't get what he meant on the last part but for some reason, something was telling him that he would be reliable and a good comrade. Jones sighed and answered
"alright lets be friends"
And so they both nodded to each other and said simultaneously
"Please take good care of me"
"Please take good care of me"
They looked at the sky in response to a sudden movement in the air. A bunch of pink flower petals swirling around like a storm. It looked like a person was deftly controlling them as you could see the gust of wind carry them in a full circle, swirling through trees and around buildings. Until it finally settled down in front of the two.
It felt like the earth and the heavens were celebrating the legendary friendship born that day.
And Boops personally still thinks that it was actually that case.
