As class ended Jason walked outside to stretch and relax. He had a bit of time until the gaming club so he started to check the system log that he had ignored at class time.
Jason thought
[You have gained 20 points]
[would you like to see who provided you those points]
'Nah it's fine, I'm happy with the points itself'
'hey, Boops what game is the club that I'm joining playing?'
'hm, it should be a skill-based PVP game, oversight I think?'
'hm but the game is going to lose popularity when WOW comes out right?'
'Yup I think those 5 have some skill though try and get them to play WOW when it comes out'
After setting aside the plans they had for the club, Jason turned his attention to the main subject
"HOW THE HECK DOES A PERSON GET 3000 BUCKS IN 8 HOURS"
Everyone in his vicinity looked at Jason curiously, but when they saw he was (pretending to) talking into his phone they all ignored him.
'heh they were scouted by a fashion company almost 1 hour after they left, they just finished signing the contract now and got the money.'
'it was a fair one right?'
'yes they are smart enough to not get fooled by something like that.'
'will it affect them in the game?'
'no it's conveniently a 3-week contract so everything should be fine'
Jason who was just hit by reality hopelessly sighed
'alright I guess we just got a good source of income '
After chatting with Boops for a bit, it was time for the club to start as he headed to the room he could already hear Mika and Aiden going at it.
"no Mika, kill the healer not the sniper first that's so stupid!"

"argh I'm trying to save your butt from getting wiped by killing the sniper first dumbo"
Jason reached the room at that time and opened the door to see a completely decked out gaming room 8 of the latest computers were laid out in the middle of the room, with high-quality chairs and monitors shining from just being cleaned. There was an entire snack bar at the edge with all the food a person could ask for. Some plants were dabbled around the place to liven up the atmosphere and at the corner next to the snack bar were some couches made as comfy as humanly possible.
On these couches was the entire group. Aiden and Mika were still shouting at each other while holding up a handheld controller to their faces. They were playing a RPG game and judging from the screen in front it looked like they were absolutely destroying their opponent.
Everyone was enraptured with the game and only noticed Jason's presence when the game ended.
Masuda said with a smile
"oh hi Jason, glad you're on time"
After the simple greetings Masuda started to introduce everyone again with their positions and specialties.
"Aiden and Mika are our front liners and damage dealers, but they always argue on who to fight first (he whispered this part).
"Gabriel is our tank/healer he like both and usually plays a paladin in RPG games."
"Luna is our back liner, she switches between being a mage and a cleric,"
Luna jumped in
"but I prefer a mage, hehehe tearing something into shreds without the enemy even getting close to you is so satisfying huhuhuhuhu."
"anyways.... im the rouge in the game, I do the planning and I'm a damage dealer here."
Masuda turned back around and spread his arms.

"well that's the team and I hope you can fit in well"
Masuda finished with the introductions and started to describe the tournaments and games they would be playing.
"We have been playing on the largest MMO fantasy game. But the next few tournaments coming up are the ones with fixed PVP, so I suggest you practice that."
Jason nodded
"alright ill do that"
'Boops is their a gaming mastery skill in the shop?'
'um yes, there is but are you sure? it won't be of any use to you in the future in WOW.'
'Yes definitely, I mean look at their stats dude'

Trashmancer
Average Chapter Length: 3,000 Words. Updates: Whenever I finish a chapter. Synopsis: Down on his luck, Eddie decided to enter the VRMMORPG Chronicles Of Fantasy with hopes of becoming a powerful monster slaying, magic slinging, princess-loving player, but a round of thieves chucked him deep into the trash pit underneath Arindought. Without hope of getting out, or making a new character, he ventures forwards through piles of trash- literally. Join our paste-eating main character, a snarky but helpful system, and more than two dimensional side characters, as they explore and deal with problems within the game. Spectacular magic? Over-sized breasts? “Onee-chan?” No, I’m sorry (Especially for the last bit). This is no drug fueled story about getting trapped in a video game with an evil AI or a cute bunny-girl harem isekai. It’s just about Eddie, his trash, and his journey in his first gaming venture. This book will be published on kindle after its completion. That means that the chapters will have to be deleted. So please, get reading! [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Though it's a standard novel with Reincarnation and Cultivation 'The Inheritor' is not a HAREM and it'll have Romance. The action might take the back seat in the first part of the book. About the Author This is my first novel or any attempt to write something so I'm pretty much a newbie trying to pen down the fantasies rolling in my mind. English isn't my First language so brace yourself for some grammatic potholes. But I'm genuinely working on improving my English but it won't be happening overnight as it's a process, I guess. (for the time being, I'm trying to make it readable with some Grammar checking software) Moreover, I wish to improve my writing skills as the story grows and readers help in spotting mistakes or critics might turn it into a reality.
