"Huh me? join your gaming group?"
"yup that's right, we need extra manpower and you seem like you will be a perfect fit for our team."
"wait I just got into this school what do you mean "perfect fit" and also....."
Masuda interrupted before Jason could get any further.
"We get a good income because of us winning tournaments and stuff, we get each about 300 bucks every time we win."
Jason thought to himself
'HOLY FIRCK 300!!! I need to win 10 tournaments and ill have enough to buy the capsule, OHHHH yeahhhhh we found it Boops!!!!"
"hmm alright I accept"
Jason's inner thoughts and actions were completely different on a emotional level but he manged to deliver his thoughts clearly and in calm way.
Masuda gleefully said in a happy voice.
"well welcome to the team!"
[+1 point Masuda (happiness)]
'oh nice you finally got you first point, congrats Jason'
Jason responded
"that took longer than expected"
'ha, wait till you get to the game'
"hehehehe"
'hehehehehehe'
Masuda was a bit worried when he saw Jason suddenly start laughing in a creepy manner but then brushed it off as just one of his bad habits (who doesn't have them?)
At that moment the lunch bell gave off a clear chime.
Masuda walked off giving Jason instructions before he left
"okay after school we'll meet in the gaming club room practice please be there at 4:00"
"Alright then see you're there"
Jason walked off to his class.
Luna approached Masuda and looked at him clear in the eyes with a question face
"hey, Masu are you sure about him?"
"Actually yes, I trust my intuition and it never failed me, it even got us, those guys"
Masuda used his head to point towards the trio of Gabriel, Mika, and Aiden

"and they have helped our tall cat's group win many championships."
Luna gave off a soft chuckle
"heh you're right, ill trust you on this one, but remember that I expect a full return on what I invested."
Masuda nodded respectfully to Luna
"don't worry, you'll even get some interest if my gut's right."
Meanwhile, Jason was staring at a value in front of his vision.
"what the heck is this"
[new stat: reputation]
[note you are not able to invest stat points into this, but you are able to affect it with your actions.]
[current reputation Kanto Prefecture High School 55/100 (hey I know you!)
'Boops how is it so high?'
'HA fool, you have just witnessed the power of charm and good looks'
Really? Jason walked into a bathroom (which was conveniently right next to him in the hall) and looked at himself in the mirror. He had light brown skin and dark eyes that could make a woman weak at the knees He was slim, muscular with an almost perfectly symmetrical face. He saw his Asian Heritage in his features and body.
Jason asked himself
"wow am I really handsome now?"
Boops crossly replied
'yes Jason, now get to class this is annoying me'
After Jason went to class and sat down.
Boops started to suddenly laugh
'Jason I just checked and Perseus and Arjuna just got 3000 bucks'
'NANI THE &*(&'

Reese was a regular girl in high school, she walked into class only for her to freeze and stare at the person next to her. She gaped openly as she observed his sharp jaw, chin, and cheekbones. On either side of his straight nose were two blazing black eyes. His dark brows were actually graceful but currently furrowed in a frown. With his raven black hair he looked like he came out a painting.

She could only silently take her seat while gazing at him, and she thanked the heavenly spirits above that she got the seat right behind him so she could continue to gaze at his chiseled back.
"what's his name? I need to figure it out." she thought to herself
The last class finally ended and after she carefully watched him go out of the room, she quickly bolted to her friends. With her breath slightly off she asked breathlessly
"ladies, the guy in front of me, What's his name?"
One of Reese's friends laughed and answered
"haha calm your horse's girl, his names Jason, but be careful, a few other people are planning to go after him"
Reese didn't even hear the last part she just repeated his name a few times to herself
"Jason huh, Jason."

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.

The Mentor
This one is for my daughter. She talked me into it (again) and it is her favorite genre of books. So, Bet, this one is for you. The true-bloods, the masters, they came first. That was hammered into Heath's head since he could walk with both words and fists by Karen. As a guardian and half-blood bastard of his vampire father, he would never know peace. His duty as a dhampir, his duty was clear, his fate sealed. Heath was to serve Gerald, an aging Vampire Lord, one who was of pure blood, born to the race, until Heath outlived his prime and then he would pass on the knowledge that was passed to him onto a new bastard to carry protecting the bloodline. But was it necessarily his fate? Could a sterile half breed such as himself, someone who did not exist in the human world, live anywhere in the world on the light? After a particularly nasty encounter with his Mentor, Heath is on the run. Set on not becoming the new guardian and knowing that decision has now marked him for death. The hunt is on and somewhere behind him is Joshua, the heir of his Master, and the thing that plagues his nightmare, his Mentor Karen.
