《Madness with a touch of sanity》Chapter 19: Something to forget

I woke up to darkness, thick cloth was wrapped around my eyes, my mouth was stuffed with something long and rubbery, invading my throat and preventing me from speaking. I could feel my fore-arms tied together with rope and my ankles and knees tied to the leg of my chair, spreading my legs and letting cool air brush up against my crotch, sending shivers up my spine.
My first thoughts led to bandits, of course, but I didn't see anything even resembling a draughty torture room when I was mapping out their hideout, so it was an unlikely option. My second thought was that I was captured by a slaver, I'm a relatively exotic creature, it wouldn't be odd for me to be sold for a high price, and I didn't feel any pain, so they obviously healed me of my self inflicted wounds, this was the most likely option, and the one I was hoping was right, my nosy father would find me immediately if it was, he's good like that.
Of course, their existed another option, one that would be worse than almost every other, one that I feared greatly, the guild master had found me. That cold hearted monster has a reputation, she skulks around in areas where lower ranked adventurers hunt, and she devours their innocence, usually she only goes after female adventurers, but sometimes a male is hunted too, her victims are found wondering, deliriously, in guild areas, usually weeks after they go missing, and always holding a pouch full of gold coins.
I could definitely use the gold, but I don't like what I need to do to get it, if I have a choice in the matter, of course, really hoping I was just sold into slavery instead, or captured by bandits, or dead, that would probably be preferable, I just don't want to end up like the mindless, shambling, husks, that the guild master turns her victims into.
"That's a little rude, don't you think" I could feel my heart stop at her oddly autonomous voice and cold words, it was like a snake was whispering in my ear.
"Don't worry, you won't end up like the, what was it, mindless, shambling, husky, yes that was it. Anyway, you won't end up like the rest, your daddy would hate me for that, and I wouldn't want that" I could feel her warm, alcoholic breath, against my neck as she spoke

A soft palm pressed against my leg, slowly stroking up and down its length, lingering on my thighs, and stopping just before my crotch. I felt something weird in me, like a hot swirling in my chest, I didn't like it, it was unnatural, my cheeks were flushed and warm, I could feel my tail stand on end and the fur on my body go damp from sweat, my teeth were clenched and my eyes started to roll back in my head.
"Damn girl, I've barely touched you, this your fetish or something?" I could hear her between my legs, she was panting
Her other palm started stroking me as well, both of my legs were being rubbed and caressed, up and down, slowly building up the feeling in my chest, elevating the pressure, I felt like I was going to burst, then my mind went blank.
I was convulsing in the chair, twitching madly as the chair rocked, something exploded from between my legs, spraying everywhere, and forming a small puddle underneath me, which was quickly soaked up by my fur.
*Thump*
The chair fell backwards and slammed me into the cold, wooden floor, I stopped convulsing, my mind was slowly repairing itself, and an awkward silence proceeded
.
.
.
"Uhm, tha-that, well, I, hmm, ok... I didn't expect that..." I could hear the guild master flustered voice, slightly dulled by my clouded mind, but still clear
.
.
"Right, I need to go take a bath, preferably in water, we can continue when I get back"
I walked out of my favourite store in the city, with a little less money in my pouch, but a few silver hardly mattered to the hundred gold I got from... somewhere. I am always curious at what I forget, but If I paid to have it erased, I probably don't want to know, especially If I erased a week of time, I just wish Martin would be a little more professional about, this time he was laughing for a good few minutes, whatever I forgot must have been terribly embarrsssing.
Anyway, I didn't need to work for a while with the amount of gold I had, a few years, If I kept the lifestyle I currently have, I would still take commissions, of course, most adventurers get twitchy if they don't get to kill something, but I would only take every once and a while, maybe once a fortnight, once a week, a few times a week maybe, ok, fine, every day, I need to murder something. I lost my armour and weapons in my last commission, so I'm going to get some new ones.

I walked to a little shop in the stone district, it was hidden in an alley-way, and the items sold there were, well, they were fine, nothing exceptional really, just old iron and leather stuff, I would probably never visit the store if I didn't know the owner.
The owner moved from his home in the salt mountains and set up shop here, there wasn't a lot of available land however, so he had to settle with what he had, luckily for him, curious, and high ranking adventurers, visited the new store, and bought everything he had to sell, he became one of the richest men in the city overnight, of course, as more people started to visit his store, he started to have trouble keeping up with demand, and eventually he completely gave up, now he just displays cheap gear he bought from other stores.
I met the owner at a spa, in the mixed bathing area, at first I thought he was a human, but as we talked and got to know each other, I learned that he was, in fact, a half dwarf, his mother was a dwarf, and his father was a giant, leaving him with an impressively muscular, and unusually hairy body, as well as highly fire resistant skin, and a long, braided, red, beard, that stretched to his stomach.
He told me about his store after a long conversation on weapons, It was years ago, but I think I was having trouble deciding what job path I wanted to go down, and what weapon to use, he helped me out, gave me one of his better trash weapons, and helped me decide to become a scout, a thief, if we are being technical. We really hit it off after that, he even offered to become my personal blacksmith, an offer I accepted on the spot, afterwards realising exactly how he became so rich, he was an amazing blacksmith.
*Ding-a-ding-ding*
I walked through the door and the bell rang, signalling that a customer has entered, of course, he didn't care, didn't even bother to greet me, he was leaned back in his chair, tinkering with something, maybe counting coins, barely even registered my presence, until I called out to him, of course.
"Hey Blood-Beard, what's up" he sighed deeply, before lifting his head and glaring at me
"Cheeky cunt, I fockin told ya not ta call ma dat, its a family name, sure it don' matter here, but back home, they have neary a clue of what yer yammerin about, ya could've been talkin bout ma father, or me siter, or cousin, ya get what i'm sayin, it gets confusin, makes ma think about them, I don' like bein compared ta them, understand? Miss Hon" I visibly shuddered, to his great amusment, at his last comment
"Mirin is fine, and I'm just messing with you, i know the feeling of being compared to your father. So Karl, I need a favour" his eye switched at the mention of favours, but he controlled his breathing and responded calmly.
"Really? And will ya be paying of yer debt first, or continue letting it rack up, because the materials I need to make yer stupid armours are expensive, sure, it is very little cost for me, but, I don' like leeches, they were a real problem back home, if ya could believe it"
I racked up a good amount of debt, I was certain I would never have to pay it off, but I guess even friendship has its limits, so I took five of the hundred gold coins out and placed them on the counter, which caused Karl to greet me with a quizzical look
"Yer debt was two gold, interest-free, why'd ya give me more?... Black steel, It's a little heavier than what you had before, but it's more resistant to both physical and magical attacks, and, I might be able to add a special little something to it, but only if you buy a whole new set, which would cost you an extra five gold.
I nodded meekly and handed over the gold, not sure what a special something is, but probably an enchantment.
"Great, now why do you smell like a week of sex and dogs?"

Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog. None of those who saw the blazing calamity with their own eyes lived to tell the tale, and those who attempted to venture in never came back. Since then, towers, caverns, and ruins have appeared and disappeared without a pattern. Those who were brave enough to venture in were rewarded with a partner capable of defying the natural laws as humanity knows it. People started to call them ‘Incarnation’, and before long, more and more Incarnation were gathered and sold as commodity, especially after a billionaire has sponsored a fighting tournament offering cash prizes to those possessing the strongest Incarnation, spurring the greedy and desperate to hunt for the fabled creatures at the cost of their lives. Claire Saphira wanted none of that. She simply wished for a life where she could live without worry of her own survival. As she ran from the debt collectors for the umpteenth time, she was swallowed by an errant tower, where she saw a frail, pale-skinned girl with ashen hair hung by chains. It was a chance, a chance to participate in the tournament and live without worrying about survival. Yet, something nagged in the back of her mind. Why did she look so familiar? Planned release schedule: One chapter every day for Mon-Fri, and a break on Sat-Sun. The release will slow down at some point, but most likely won't go under 3 chapters a week.
