《Madness with a touch of sanity》Chapter 15: Snow globe, Dolphins

I was wrong, I can't make my home at the core, someone is already living here, although it would probably be more accurate to say a lot of someone's are living here. Their name is Kevin, and Kevin is a collection of beetles and worms that make up the planet's core, also, this is technically a toilet, and those were not mountains, I have been crashing in the planets core for a few weeks, chillin with my new friend, they were cool with it, not a lot of conversation to be had here apparently.
I think it's time I got back to where I was though, adventures to be had, people to kill, walls to plaster with screaming faces, I'm a busy woman, and I need to change my job, or so says Kevin, whom I cannot a appraise, unfortunately. I had been trying to figure out how I got here for a few days, and with all my researching prowess, I have discovered that, I am not very good at complicated magical formula, also that I'm in a snow globe, which is not generally good.
Kevin said he could get me out of the snow globe, provided that I 'keep it in my person', whatever that was supposed to mean, I would figure it out later, currently we were building a doorway out of the bones and magic cores of the annoying white imps, I was supplying the ludicrous supply of mana and Kevin was keeping the portal stable, allowing me to jump through, the portal looked like glass, allowing me to see the other side, not the prettiest sight, but I can't really judge anymore.
I took a distance from the portal and launched myself into it, using my threads as a slingshot, I smashed through the portal, smashing it like it was glass and immediately felt nauseous as my surrounding shrunk, I felt the hard wooden ceiling against my back slowing lifting up, I could hear the sound of springs uncoiling and a masculine shout and scream, I was under a bed, and it was dusty. I looked back to see a tiny, cloudy marble, it seems that this was the snow globe Kevin spoke of, it was smaller than described, only about two centimetres in diameter, I picked it up and swallowed it before looking at the creature that was groaning on the other side of the flipped over bed.
He had small, fluffy horns and meek ears that folded in on themselves, like a cone, sprouting from the top of his head and his eyes were a soft, dark green, and unfortunately his body wouldn't fit me very well, but I like his eyes.
[Gained skill: Flinch Lvl 63]
I cut out the little dear man's eye and healed it into my socket, then I cut off his arms and legs and stored them in my hat, I burned his stumpy wounds and tied him to my back with threads, he was screaming the entire time, hilarious, I also stripped him naked, so I could check for 'concealed weapons', his 'spear' was slightly below average, and he was hiding a small knife inside himself, but other than that, pretty much defenceless. I checked around inside the house, storing anything I could use, there were a few alchemical herbs and potions, and a couple of gold coins, nothing special.
I smashed my way out of the little house, burning everything I could see on the way, increasing the screams from the little stumpy dear man to at least twice their volume, I was in a forest, the trees were smaller and the density of mana was thinner, making me glad that I saved those limbs. I crept between the trees, similar to a spider, with my threads, little animals skittered away in fear as I came by, I ignored them for the most part, only taking the particularly large animals, like bears and dire-wolves, for food.

The little deer man stopped screaming at some point, probably lost his voice, or maybe he passed out from the pain, not that it mattered to me, I just wanted him for his... I don't know, I just strapped him to my back without thinking, it seemed like a good idea at the time, but what do I know, guess I'll keep him alive as a potential experimental subject, or something, I would probably figure it out later.
Eventually I came to a clearing, there was a massive crevice that split the ground apart, separating the forest, at the bottom ran a gigantic rushing river, which seemed like a good enough place go, so I dived into the ravine, the screams of the dear man picking up again, raspier than before, but still full of terror, the splash was massive, going up about twenty metres, now came the part I didn't think about.
Water smashed into me, nocking me over and bashing me into the sides of the ravine, winding me multiple times, I couldn't concentrate on casting magic and just got washed away with the current, I broke a few bones on my way through the water system, but I was at least travelling faster than I was by myself. Unfortunately my threads had tangled themselves and were binding my limbs to my body, sometimes I got stuck in a rock when my horns hit them, usually breaking my neck, and my wings were all kinds of fucked up, but I was going somewhere, and at an incredibly fast rate too.
I couldn't keep my head above the water, it was probably more surprising I could for as long as I did, my lungs were starting to fill with the icy liquid that made up the rapids, my skin was burning and my consciousness was fading in and out, my chest was tight and both cold and hot assaulted my heart. This wouldn't kill me of course, it would just be mind shatteringly painful, this was the worst possible situation that could have happened, and nothing could make it worse...
Unless of course the rapids led directly off on to a waterfall that dropped several hundred kilometres down, directly into a bed of impossibly sharp and tough rocks, inhabited by a particularly angry pack of water wyverns and horny dolphin beast-people, which as unlikely as it sounds, was exactly what it did. I was falling,
In this situation I would spread my wings and glide my ass out of danger, but I would need to make a raincheck on that, considering my wings were currently missing the majority of the membrane that allowed flight, and my threads were uselessly binding my limbs, not that they would be any help if they weren't, nothing to latch on to, In this type of situation, I only have one option left.
I used one of the few remaining free threads to reach into my magic hat and pull out the pipe, which I proceeded to smoke and try to think happy thoughts, now I was out of options, just had to let it happen, maybe I die impaled on spikes, maybe I live the rest of my life as in a wyverns stomach, or maybe I would be made into a breeding tool for a bunch of low class, mouth breathing, retards, with barely two neurons to rub together between the lot of them... where did that come from?
My body was burning up, it felt like something similar to an indescribable, bloodthirsty, murder-rage, but without a goal, perhaps I got too caught up on the dolphin-fuck option, or, as unlikely as it was, it could also have been the red smoke coming out of the pipe, surrounding me and leaving a trail leading downwards.

I have another option, but the screaming voices inside my head and my reddening vision was persuading me to another, one filled more with blood, semen, and pure lamentation that will fill the dolphin-fucks entire species for the rest of time, it made me want to shout obscene things, and do unspeakable and inhumane acts, which fit perfectly with my new murder-lust.
"The captain calls for blood, answer in turn!" there I go spouting off my mouth, my surrounding were on fire, at some point my mana ignited by itself, responding to my rage perhaps, I would probably be scary, if I wasn't skewered halfway down a hundred metres long spike through my chest with multiple other spikes stabbing through me in various, highly uncomfortable areas, luckily they all missed my eyes, but my body was in control, and I doubt it kept the intelligence needed to realise that fact.
The inhabitants of the cavernous water system were fighting rabidly, the wyverns, which seemed like the obvious victors, were actually loosing, they had lost their intellectual superiority and elemental advantage, the sharp talons and tough scales that would be present on a less evolved species were replaced with webbed membranous hind legs and wings, more suited to speed in water than pulling creatures apart, and the scales, which had actually adapted to become more dangerous, became more flexible and sleek, matching the water variant of the wyvern and its flatter body.
Had the water wyverns kept their intellect, they would have used their speed and sharp bodies to rip the dolphins-fucks bodies apart in seconds, but lacking that, and in their enraged state, they were swiping with their slimy wings and biting with their reasonably sharp, little teeth, their attacks were largely ineffectual to the enemies at hand however.
The dolphins hard and rubbery skin largely negated the lesser dragons teeth, either only making shallow cuts or not penetrating the skin whatsoever, they were crawling all across the bodies of the wyverns, smashing their heads and fists into them, little cracks and bits of the exposed inner flesh of the wyverns could be seen here and there, the dolphins, even in an enraged state, seemed to group together, attacking in waves, their hardened bodies slammed against the wyverns over and over again, only stopping when they were shaken off, but it didn't take long for them to be back on to the beast.
"Come here! I'll bite your legs off!" And here I was, flailing randomly and nibbling on the rock, it was pathetic in its own way, but at the same time, I had no control, sort of like watching through a screen, or from a stand, unfortunately I was still smoking the pipe, so it would be a while before I'm back in control "Harrumph harrumph, look at me, I'm a big stupid dragon, cunt! What! Afraid of little o'l me?!"
The wyverns were being backed into a corner, both literally and metaphorically, a veritable wave of muscles and angry dolphin-fucks washed against the lesser dragon, smashing their weakened defences to pieces, had they not been so blinded by rage, they would have fled by now, although they probably wouldn't be in this situation, had they not been enraged, still, it was a fact that they had lost in this battle, not yet, but there was nothing more they could do.
The wyverns were finally overwhelmed, they were bleeding purplish-blue blood from every bit of exposed skin due to the repeated battering of their enemies, which had crawled into their throats and started attacking the wyverns insides, some had already died, suffocating on their own blood, or simply giving in to the damage, either way, the wyverns had lost to a bunch of fucking dolphins, and seeing as there were no enemies left, they should calm down.
"Come over ere, you grey cunts! I'll fuckin kill ya!" No enemies left, except myself that is, of course, what did I expect, rage and power only lead to overconfidence, and I am currently filled with both, I just wish I could shut myself up, but maybe they didn't hear me, I'm pretty far away from them. "Boopy doop, fuck your whole dolphin troop! I'm gonna rip out your fucking souls from your screaming flesh!"
You know, the worst part about all of this, is that I can see the dear-man at the top of the waterfall, clearly not conscious, probably severe brain damage and internal bleeding, but alive, and, it's probably not entirely true, but safe, hanging by a literal thread, lucky bastard. The dolphins, ate the wyverns and were now looking at me, my stomach would sink, if I had control over my body, but seeing as I did not, I just starting swearing and hitting the rock harder.
[Skill achieved: Taunt Lvl 1]
They were crawling over each other like a squirming pile of bodies crawling over each other to reach a person stuck on a rock, something seemed wrong about that statement, but it was accurate, oddly though, they did not use the same tactics as they did on the wyverns, they surrounded me completely, forming a ring on bodies around the rock as they climbed up to me. The dolphin-fucks smashed their heads against my sides and limbs, they released a weird smell, like rotten blubber and oil, their skin was slimy and sticky from all the blood.
After a few hits, my body dented, like cheap metal, I might have been able to free myself if they crushed one side completely, but they were attacking on all sides, pummelling me into the rock, I would probably die before I was free, well maybe not die, but I would probably have great trouble with moving even a single finger for a few hundred years, mana could only do so much after all.
"Hey cunts! Who wants to see a magic trick?!" Magic trick? Oh deer, this could only end poorly, then again, who knows, maybe I'll get lucky.
I invoke thee, oh vortex of terror and dread
All dreams become naught, all hopes become void
Lay waste to the skies, seas and earth, eternal
Slay both foe and friend in rage and hatred
Vortex Of Nightmares

Grim Beginnings
For most, ghosts and monsters were fantasy. For Tessa Byrne-Reyes, they were a constant in her daily life as a reaper. The legendary gods and creatures of mythology were, to her, historical figures. From a young age, she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, possessing what she saw as a curse but what her family considered a gift. It was her birthright, to use her abilities to guide the deceased to the afterlife of an eternity in peace or in torment. Her classmates viewed her as "the fainting girl" who would pass out in the middle of a lesson with inexplicable injuries. She experienced each death in the town of Belmont Falls, from the mundane to the gruesome. A gunshot wound in the gut, broken ribs, her heart ceasing to beat for several minutes. No one understood what caused these incidents but over the years, she gained a reputation for being abnormal. While Tessa is the freak of Belmont Falls, Fin Belmont, the charming rebel and son of the richest man in town, is her polar opposite. Knowing each other for years but never saying more than a dozen words between them, one night changes everything, thrusting them into each other's unfamiliar and daunting worlds. Together, with the help of her best friend/his ex-girlfriend Elena, they begin to unravel secrets about their town and their pasts, learning that some secrets are better left buried and grudges can be held for centuries.
