This time Alex has the advantage, he knew the area better, it will be a short distance battle, and most importantly he won't need to be worried about protecting the other three. The entry to the secret chamber is not that easy to find and Aria is also there, so he doesn't worry too much about them.

Not long after, Alex hear the sound of footsteps. as expected, they won't be leaving easily. Alex really wonders who these guys are.

One after another they walk into the first chamber, they can see each other, but none of them yet take any action, Alex just patiently wait until all of them reach inside the chamber.

First Alex saw Robert, then surprisingly the man with the white shirt was there, and he looks uninjured. This gives Alex more reason to capture them.

Robert is the first to talk.

"Mr. Alex, I have been to this relic many time before, I assure you there is no other exit than this one, don't make it harder for yourself, you are trapped,"

the guy with the white shirt then added

"Mr. Alex, we also very much interested with you, handed over all your items and come with us, we are very interested with the rock golem that you have, and also whatever artifact you found in this ruin"

The bullets just ricochet off the golem body. it's bulletproof.

The golem hit the ground in the middle, near the first chamber entrance. The golem crash into Robert, he died instantly...

Alex hates this type of guy.. so he orders the golem to crash into him while securing the entrance. now none of them will be able to leave

The rest of the group watching the scene felt in despair... such speed and strength.

"Spread out!! Aim at that guy, not the golem.

Alex jumps out to the back and retreat through the entrance into the path to the next chamber.

The white shirt guy sends half of his men to delay the monster and send the other chasing after Alex.

The situation becomes such a disadvantage to him. He's not stupid enough to stay in the first chamber being slaughter by the golem, he follows the other group.

In just a few seconds just before he enters the entrance he looks back and sees that several of his man who stayed back already down. Bullets are not enough again the golem, it has the body of a medium grade artifact after all.

But, when he about to enter the entrance to the next chamber, he saw a body fall in front of him. One of his men just drop in front of him in pain, he rushes inside and saw more of his men on the ground, not long after he senses something thrown at him,

He dodges.., it's a rock pebble, he looks around and see most of the man that entered already drop on the ground, Alex took small rocks on the ground and throw it at them, then rush advance for close combat, when Alex already too close, it's hard for them to use their rifle.. in less than 10 second all of his 12 men dropped to the ground.

Now there are only 2 of them in the narrow path, more stones thrown at him.

SHHH...SHHH... he dodges again, but when he looks back at Alex, he saw him already pulled out a gun and took a shot

BANG... its a direct hit but it only pushes him down.. he tried to stand while he stares and thought about the figure facing him... apparently, this Alex didn't enter the path to run away but, he purposely lured them in. Just a few second all of his men are down, this guy Alex is a monster as well. He suddenly regrets his decision to rashly charging in...

Alex move close to him.."Interesting.. it seems you do have an artifact on you... Alex checking the guy clothes and found something.. a low-grade armor artifact. You already used up twice today. I guess that's it,"

BAMM... Alex hit him in the head, he passed out... now all of them have been neutralized.

Alex gathers all of them in a line. The golem guards them while he called Aria and the other in. The group can't believe it only took Alex a few minutes to settle the situation...

Cindy said, "should I call the police?"

Alex reply, "this could become an international problem, just leave this to me"

then he told Aria to bring the professor and Cindy back to the city and he will catch them up soon... Aria sense Alex trying to hide something to her, but she follows his order.

A few minutes later inside the first chamber, there are 16 men lined up and tied up... most of the men who faced the golem died in the process. Slowly one after another they all woke up. The guy with the white shirt woke up and saw all his men were tied up next to him, and the man in front of him starring quietly at them. This situation doesn't look too good for him.

"Good, everyone already awake. I need information. and I will only release the one who answered my question... easy?"

Alex took something from his storage ring...it's the new artifact, The Amulet of Sun

Alex drop his blood into it.. the amulet shine a little... and he can feel the energy of the amulet in him.. just like the golem, a human can interact with artifact telepathically, he could slowly understand the amulet. The amulet of Sun, this is one of the unique medium grade artifacts.

The guy didn't have any energy to scream... His body turns thin. His face slowly wrinkles and his hair turn to white... This all happened less than three seconds.
