《The Marauders》The Massacre

"It calls to you, doesn't it? The galaxy of our past. The memories of the ultimate carnage across the stars. You have been anticipating a second attempt at galactic domination far longer than any of our people. Are you prepared?" said a large figure with a deep voice. He was obscured in darkness at the entrance of a room.
The figure was talking to the Zeta Emperor himself, Kronos, in the bridge of their newly built flagship, the Black Harbinger. Emperor Kronos wore white and yellow armor, and had the appearance of a man in his 30s. Kronos had brown hair with red eyes. He was looking out from a massive window in front of the bridge, on the side walls were officers operating computers, with several sentry turrets on the ceiling.
Emperor Kronos, slowly turned around and looked into the darkness where the figure stood.
"I have been prepared since the our defeat against the Andromeda Republic. Our armies and fleets have been growing tremendously for the last 30 years. We have stayed hidden for too long. Our scouts have been reporting that Andromeda Republic has been becoming unstable as the years went by. " Kronos said.
"This galaxy, this damaged republic. I can already hear it's death cry, and my answer...is it's eradication. Now come fourth, Chaos Bringer!" he commanded.
The figure walked out of the darkness making loud footsteps and revealed himself. "I am honored to be your second in command, emperor." said Chaos Bringer.
He stood 3.7 meters high, has green skin, razor-sharp teeth, white eyes, and wore a black helmet with two golden horns. He also wore a black cape with thin white stripes, along with black armor, but his bare arms were fully exposed. Each hand was massive and had short claws. He had a monstrous, bearded battle axe strapped to his back.
"You are our most powerful warrior. After we unleash an orbital bombard on this wretched planet Clizora, you and a battalion of troopers shall storm the city and eliminate any survivors." said the emperor.
"Seig Zeta!" shouted Chaos Bringer as he raised his right arm with pride.
He then stomped his way out of the bridge. Kronos then alerted the officers in the room. "Attention! Pepare for ground troops and initiate orbital bombardment!" Said Kronos.
It is nighttime on the eastern hemisphere of the planet Clizora. Clizora is a planet that lies at the edge of the Andromeda Galaxy and is part of the Andromeda Republic. It is a small world that is known for its exotic vegetation and wildlife. However, about a quarter of this planet has been converted into a giant city over the centuries. Realizing that the construction of the city was damaging the environment, the government within Clizora decided to stop the expansion of the city and focused on preserving the ecosystem of the planet.

Clizora is a hotspot for tourists as they like to observe the natural beauty of the planet. As beautiful as it is, there are also many hostile predators within the jungles. The giant city on the other hand is a technological marvel, with skyscrapers that are hundreds of feet tall, and the government of this planet is responsible for many technologies that are commonly used across the Andromeda Galaxy, such as Giga Drives, which are machinery attached to ships that allow them to go 400 times the speed of light while in a wormhole. Giga Travel theoretically allows a ship from one side of the galaxy to reach the other side within several hours. However it is very dangerous and is ships often need to stop by at worlds along the way to refuel. Despite being a technologically advanced society, the people of Clizora don't have too many weapons because they believe in making peaceful negotiations over fighting.
The native species of Clizora are simply referred to as Clizorians. They are a race of aliens for having blue skin, hairless, short fangs on the bottom jaw, large hands, slender bodies, and on the average stand at 1.5 meters tall. They always welcome visitors to their world with open arms and hospitality is a big part of their culture. But something terrible was about to happen.
In the night sky, a very wide triangular silhouette of a massive unknown ship was visible. Civilians in the city looked up and were very confused. At first, the people assumed it was a republic capital ship on patrol, but this ship was at least 120 kilometers long, four times larger than any known ship at the time. Many worlds in the galaxy were slowly starting to feel uneasy about the Andromeda Republic because, for the last ten years, the government was becoming more and more unstable. They even began to use terrorist tactics on planets as a desperate attempt of maintaining control. A few months ago, there was an incident where the republic decimated the planet Miru because a deadly virus was discovered there, and it was quickly spreading on the planet.
As the citizens of Clizora looked at the massive ship in the sky, it suddenly began to fire purple bolts of energy onto the city. "The Andromeda Republic has turned on us! Run for your lives!" a man screamed. Panic quickly spread across the planet. Skyscrapers burst into flames and massive debris from the buildings was rapidly falling and crushing people. Many ran to the nearest ships and crammed as many people as possible inside to fly away. However, the energy bolts shot down many of the ships that tried to flee. The giant unknown ship moved across the city and continued orbital bombardment for six hours. Then the lasers stopped, and the survivors cautiously looked at the sky. At first, they thought the ship would leave, but instead, multiple shuttle craft started to come out from the giant ship.

The shuttles were silver bulky spaceships with four long wings. They were lightly armed with a two-barrel turret on top of the ship. They also had a pair of small canons at the front of the ship. The cockpit of the shuttles was very boxy and compact. Each shuttle could hold up to twenty-five soldiers. Inside one of these shuttles was a squadron of flame troopers. Flame troopers are a trooper variant that specialized in the use of flame throwers and other flame-based weapons. Each flame trooper was fully armored in red and black. They had helmets that covered the face and had a built-in gas mask for the flame troopers and had a V-shaped visor.
One of these flame troopers was a young man named Kyle Savo. This was his first mission as a flame trooper. Along with him were many other flame troopers, along with Captain Cross. He is the leader of this squadron.
"Alright people, listen up!" he said. "Most of the people on Clizora are probably dead or wounded. Your objective is to incinerate any survivors. The Chaos Bringer will be joining us."
The shuttle landed and as the back doors opened, Kyle and his squadron ran outside. They blazed their way across the remains of the city. Kyle's companions burned many innocent people. In other shuttles, there were standard troopers who used blaster carbines. They did not have a built-in gas mask in the helmets and the color of the armor was gold and black.
The troopers continued their massacre, but Kyle really felt that this was all wrong. What did these people do to deserve such a horrible fate? Suddenly, another shuttle landed near him, and booming footsteps can be heard from inside the shuttle.
A hulking figure slowly walked out as the door opened, and it was the Chaos Bringer. He brought out his axe, and it began to charge up energy and the head of the axe began to glow green. He then smashed the axe on the ground, causing a massive wave of energy to strike the remains of a building and causing it to explode. In the aftermath of the explosion, there was a young teenage girl with brown hair and dirty clothes was exposed.
Chaos Bringer looked at Kyle, "Go ahead. I will let you slaughter this one." He said in a deep voice. Kyle slowly walked up to the girl, pointing his flamethrower at her face. She did not say a word but there clearly was terror in her eyes. Several seconds passed.
"What's wrong with you? Burn her to ashes! That is an order!" Chaos Bringer shouted. Kyle than dropped his flame thrower.
"I just can't do it. This is the first time I was ever on a mission like this. Killing enemy soldiers is one thing, but defenseless and innocent people is another!" Said Kyle.
Chaos Bringer replied, "Then allow me, let me show you how it's done."
The titan walked up to the girl and grabbed her by the throat. The girl then screamed with tears in her eyes, "How brainwashed do you have to be to do something like this?!"
Chaos Bringer snarled, "Young lady, what is the size of my heart?" He opened his mouth very wide and brought her head closer inside.
"I…don't see a heart…" the girl replied.
Chaos Bringer laughed, "Precisely!" And then he violently slammed her head against the wall. As she helplessly lay on the floor, Chaos Bringer was about to deliver the killing blow, Kyle stepped in.
"Please! Don't!" he cried. Chaos Bringer stopped and then looked at him in disgust. "What's your name?" he asked.
"Kyle…Kyle Savo." Kyle replied.
"Kyle, you cannot be so weak-minded. If you disobey my orders again, I will tear you apart. As for this little insignificant primate, I take her as a prisoner. She will be tortured and experimented on the Black Harbinger until she dies." said Chaos Bringer. Kyle was ordered to bring the unconscious teen onto a shuttle, while Chaos Bringer and his troopers continued to destroy what was left of the city.
While the carnage continued, a surviving Clizorian took refuge and stayed hidden underground. He knew this wasn't the Andromeda Republic, because he recognized the uniforms the troops wore. He fought in a war against soldiers wearing those exact uniforms many years ago. He activated a broadcasting device. "I may be the last of our people. I broadcast this warning to anybody who may be watching; the Zeta Empire has returned!"

Star Wars X Mass Effect
Like the title says, it's a crossover between Star Wars and Mass Effect. I'm using both the Star Wars Legends continuity and my personal playthrough of Mass Effect Trilogy for the story. This is actually my first fan fiction ever, so sorry in advance if chapters feel like summaries or my writing in general is off.
