Hello, guys ... It’s been a while ...

Unfortunately right now I have exams so ... Yeah .

Well , let me say a few words first about this arc and to clarify a few things .

(1) - I am not sure why people keeps commenting about there being multiple MC’s in this story ... No ! There is only one MC in Maou Summoning ! Back then I said that , after I finish this one , I want to create another fan fiction using Andel and two more MC’s that will have their own fan fictions placed in the same universe but with literary no connection with this that will stand as the ending of all three fan fictions .

(2) - This arc is going to be kinda long ... I know that so far things were extremely rushed so I want to slow down a little ... To be more exact , I prepared something like 40 chapters for this arc alone ...

(3) - Drama tag has been added but don’t worry , it will not be that bad ... Just a little f***ed up ... So ... Yeah !

Divine War Arc: Lacking

“So that’s pretty much the situation ... ” [Andel]

‘Silence’

No one utters any words ... They are all a little dumbfounded , looking at me with wide eyes not knowing what to say while small gulps can be heard once in a while . If you watch closely , a hint of fear can be seen deep in their souls .

Well , I don’t blame them ... This Creation War or whatever is called is no small matter .

“Hey ! Stop dreaming and let’s concentrate on the important stuff ! ” [Andel]

Like turning a bulb on , all of them turn serious and looks at me .

Yeah ... Right now we are in a small forest , near a river fishing . Or at least I am fishing ... Everyone else doesn’t seem to be in the mood so I didn’t force them to do anything . Well , even if an even greater war were to come , that doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t have fun , right ?

“So ... Master ... What are we going to do now ?” [Ceyx]

‘Master’ . I really like how that sounds ... Since I accepted them as my underlings , the trio started calling me ‘Master’ . At the beginning, it sounded a little strange , but right now I started to enjoy it a lot .

Still ... He has a point . Having an action plan is always preferable . Fortunately , this small Purgatory adventure showed me something that I never expected . It revealed the truth about myself . A truth that I never thought would be real .

“Right now we are going to start to prepare for the war of course . We still have over eighty years so , the time is on our side . ” [Andel]

“Right ... Master is correct . Right now we are all extremely weak . We need to become strong enough to stand behind Master during the war . ” [Antalia]

Ayame’s daughter Antalia ... When I took the trio as my disciples , I thought Ceyx would be their head ... But it was revealed that the one leading them in the shadow was actually this girl . Her leading skills are amazing .

The ability to create strategies in any situation no matter how desperate is amazing . Furthermore , her will is like a mountain . Unmovable . Even against a force that she knows that can’t be defeated , she never gives up . If she can’t win , then she will do everything in her power to increase their survival chances . All of this combined with her charisma made her into a born leader .

“Antalia is right . We will work until our skin will peel off and blood will cover the entirety of our being . In eighty years we will get strong enough that Master will be proud of us ! ” [Andelion]

Andelion is an idiot and a battle maniac . But his fighting skills are top notch . He has already mastered the spear , longsword , heavy sword , bow and whip and can use any other weapon up to the expert level .

Furthermore , he is extremely determined in everything he does and knows very well that his power lay in his fighting skills and not his brain .

“No . That is impossible . No matter how much we shall struggle , getting in the same realm as Master is only a dream . But this doesn’t mean we can’t try !” [Ceyx]

The most balanced one of the three of them is Lucifer’s son , Ceyx . He is a complete realist , with rational thinking and decent fighting power . He is not as versed as Andelion or as smart as Antalia , but he has his own qualities . The only weapon that he knows how to use is the spear , and even that only at the expert level .

Instead , he has mastered Fire Magic . Ignition Spells , Fire Traps , Heat Barriers , Mirage Magic , Red Healing Wards , Infernal Beast summoning . He knows them all . At this point , he is even more versed in fire arts even than me .

Altogether , they are a very balanced team . The problem is not them ... It’s me !

When I fought against Lucifer and Ayame in the infernal realm , I lost . You might think that it was 2 v 1 and that is the reason . But I know better ... I know my body and I’ve seen their power level .

At that point , My power was about three times greater than both of them combined .

In terms of brute strength , no one can compare with me . But , when fighting in the same realm with anyone else , I am actually lacking .

For thousands of years, I used this insane powers of mine to overpower everyone else without realising that my battle skills have almost been completely swallowed by the passage of time .

In this world, it might not be significant , but if during the war we were to meet someone in the same realm as me , then I would , without a doubt , lose !” [Andel]

Everyone took a long breath of cold air realising what I mean with the words ‘I am weak !’. Yes , in the same realm I am weak to the point where I feel ashamed of myself .

This is why ...

“I am going to start training ! In the next eighty years , my purpose is to get to the point where I can defeat anyone in the same realm as me , no matter who he is .” [Andel]

“ So ... We should start working on this problem then ... Ceyx , Antalia and Andelion should work on their raw energy while you should work on your control and fighting skills . “ [Balcifer]

“Indeed !” [Andel]

“Andel , didn’t you forget to do something ? No matter what problems you have , a promise should always be kept !” [Yra]

While kissing me lightly on the lips , Yra reminded me something extremely important . She is right . No matter what , a promise is still a promise .

This three are in perfect sync ... They are almost like twins ... Or better said triplets . Scary !

At this moment , looking a little on the left , near a big tree , Hecate can be seen standing down with a blank look on her face . She looks carefree , but I know better . She is scared . Not about this war , but about her clan’s fate .

Seven months ago , we left with the purpose of saving her clan . We never made it there . But sometimes latterly is better than never .

I go near hear , kneel down and kiss her slowly . Raising her head , she looks surprised at me . In the back , the trio are already on their feet ready for action while Yra and Balcifer look in our direction with small smiles on their face .

I am truly lucky to have this kind of woman near me !

“Okay everyone ! Right now we are going to the most horrifying place that exists in this world . A place filled with monsters that I don’t even dare to look at . A place where even I tremble in fear and don’t dare to raise my eyes from the ground . A place ten thousand times worst the purgatory . A place that no normal being would ever go to !” [Andel]

Their smiles disappear and serious looks appear on their faces . The trio starts shaking slightly and Balcifer looks nervous in my direction . In the same time , a small hand grabs my wrist . Hecate looks at me with deep fear in her eyes .

The only one that still smiles is Yra ... I wonder why ?
