Purgatory arc: Conclusion

POV : Antalia , Ayame’s daughter

Light ... Blinding white light assaults my eyes . I struggle for a bit , but in the end, I manage to accommodate . My body aches , but there is no notable pain to be mentioned . I thought to be dead already ... But it looks like somehow I survived .

“Oh no ... Ceyx , Andelion are you ...” [Antalia]

“Calm down , they are safe and sound !” [Ayame]

Mother ?!? What is she doing here ... Oh, I see ... That monster didn’t kill us when he had the chance and Mother and Lucifer-sama defeated him then saved the three of us . That is good ... But there is one question remaining ...

“Mother ... Where are we ?” [Antalia]

It’s a big space with green grass on the ground and a few trees here and there . The three of us were actually under a three resting while some sort of green , gentle energy was healing us , I think ... But I don’t remember mother to have this kind of ability , so ...

“This is a place that Andel created . ” [Ayame]

“What ? How ? What happened ?” [Antalia]

“Both me and Lucifer lost to Andel ... Or to be more exact , we were never his opponents ... ” [Ayame]

I ... See ... Most likely the reason we are still alive is because he either wants to torture or enslave us ... I won’t accept this ! I better die than to be that monster’s toy !

A short knife appears in my hand and I stab it directly towards my heart . Mother , Lucifer-sama , I am sorry ... But I can’t accept to be defiled by that beast no matter what !

Before the knife reached my chest , Andelion grabs my hand ... Why ... You are from the noble house of Flaidwagss de Crux . So why ???

“Put the knife down Antalia ! The situation is not what it seems !” [Lucifer]

“Lucifer-sama ...” [Antalia]

“To put it bluntly , all is a charade . ” [Ceyx]

“ A charade ? What kind of charade is that when ten million soldiers are killed with cold blood ? Are their lives really that ... Cheap ? “ [Antalia]

Looking forward , a big screen can be seen showing that monster , Andel and ... Balcifer ?!? How is this possible ... They seem to be in the middle of the battlefield that now is only a huge , charred crater .

“Ha ha ha ... Only twenty more minutes left and then , finally , the war will be over .” [Balcifer]

“You seem excited ...” [Andel]

“Of course, I am ... Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that not only could you destroy the whole enemy army alone , but you actually killed Lucifer and Ayame as well !” [Balcifer ]

Killed ? But mother and Lucifer-sama are still alive and kicking ... Oh ... Charade ... I see !

“Hey, Balcifer ... ” [Andel]

“What is it ?” [Balcifer]

“Kiss me !” [Andel]

“Eh ?” “Huh ?!? “ “The hell ? ” “Hooh ...”

Balcifer goes near Andel , raises her head and kisses him ... Of course , we can see it clearly ... Her tongue going in his mouth and squirming around like an eel . The short , soft moans coming from Balcifer . Andel’s hands touching certain ... areas ...

“What the hell is that guy thinking about ??? If he is truly on our side , then why is he making out with Balcifer ? “ [Antalia]

No answer ... It looks like everyone is confused about this ...

“Hey, Balcifer ...” [Andel]

Finally , their mouths get apart from each other . Still, in his embrace , Balcifer has her eyes closed ...

“Uhm ? ” [Balcifer]

“This is going to hurt like hell ... Bear with me !” [Andel]

“Huh ?!?”[Balcifer]

‘Hyaaaaaa’

She looks at Andel with surprise written all over her face . Then , Andel’s right-hand goes directly towards Balcifer’s heart . It stabs deep in her chest and a blood-curdling scream can be heard .

“W-why did he killed her just like that ? ” [Ceyx ]

This is exactly my thoughts ...

“I don’t know Andel to well , but if there is one thing that is certain about that guy , that is that he avoids killing without a reason ... Considering his power , she was no threat ... So he had no real reason to kill her ... ” [Lucifer]

And still ... She is going to die soon . That is a certain thing !

The scream goes on ... Not even giving her a fast death ... He truly is a monster !

‘Ching ‘ ‘Ching ‘ ‘Ching ‘ ‘Ching ‘

Out of nowhere , dark , semitransparent chains appear binding Balcifer’s hands , legs and neck . And all the chains are seemingly connected to her heart .

Andel grits his teeth and starts releasing a huge amount of power ... The sky turns completely blood red as crimson bolts of lightning starts falling everywhere . The ground cracks in a spider web pattern with the two of them in the centre . The energy around Andel takes the form of a blood mist that covers everything in a ten thousand meters area .

“He is ... Unbelievable ... ” [Ayame]

“I can’t believe that we tried to kill him ...” [Lucifer]

Now I understand how stupid we were when I , Andelion and Ceyx used our lives to scratch that monster ... We were just ... Idiots !

“BREAK !” [Andel]

When that word was uttered , the black chains starts creaking . The blood mist pours into Balcifer’s chest . Her scream becomes, even more, hearth breaking ... I can’t even imagine what kind of pain she is through right now ... Maybe she was our enemy , but she didn’t deserve something like this ... No one deserves something like this !

‘Creak’

Finally , one of the chains breaks and starts transforming into black particles of light . Soon , the other four follows the first one and disappear into nothingness .

Andel takes out his hand slowly from Balcifer’s chest . She looks at him with dead eyes but with a smile on her face .

“When I met you for the first time ... You presented to me as a slave . It was a disguise and , at the same time , it was not . Your actions , your will , even your feelings were all controlled . Now , you are free . ” [Andel]

Andel looks her in the eyes and whispers gentle . Balcifer looks to be on the verge of dying , but there is a happy smile on her face that is contrasting with the current situation .

“Thank ... You !” [Balcifer]

A green light envelopes Balcifer . Then she just disappeared ... Did she die ?

“Ayame cast a divine healing art on her ! We don’t have much time !” [Lucifer]

“Already done !” [Ayame]

Eh ? Balcifer appeared on the grass a few meters away from us . She looks to be unconscious while blood is still pouring from her open chest . Green energy from the environment rushes towards her . Furthermore , mother’s Divine Healing Art : Blessing start closing the wound at a visible speed .

“Three more minutes ... It’s time to do it !” [Andel]

On the screen, Andel can be seen in the middle of the huge crater with blood staining his hand . He points his right hand towards the sky and screams at the top of his lungs ...

“ Fifth Revelation : Time Warp ! ” [Andel]

A huge formation appears in the sky . It looks like a clock made out of millions of symbols and magical circles . Its size is hard to comprehend , covering the whole battlefield .

“REVERSE !” [Andel]

The huge clock in the sky starts moving slower ... Until , at one point , it stops . Then , slowly , one second at a time , its needles starts moving in the opposite direction .

Soon , the speed becomes thousands of times faster . Things start to change on the churned battlefield . The ground starts heating up and soon is transformed one more time into lava .

The huge fire pillar that once annihilated everything appears again and then starts shrieking down while the lava is turned back into normal dirt . In the same time , on the empty battlefield , figures starts appearing . Millions upon millions of soldiers that were once killed can now be seen again.

Then , the ball of fire disappears completely . A few seconds later a red sword wave , the same that destroyed the first eight shields , starts moving seemingly backwards .

When it reaches the place where Andel was standing when he used that technique the first time , it disappears . In the same time, the once collapsed shields are completely restored .

Finally , the huge clock in the sky breaks into pieces and disappears . All the soldiers look around in confusion ... I don’t blame them ... This was ...

“Incredible ! ” [Everyone]

‘Thump’

Out of the sudden, a big collision sound can be heard . When I look in that direction , Andel is in the middle of a small crater kneeling with one knee. It looks like he felt from where he was standing a few seconds ago .

“I’ve ... Used a little too much power !” [Andel]

Then , out of a sudden , a red pillar emerges from the ground . This is the proof that the war is finally over . On it , the word : “Infernal Realm : Victory” can be seen .

“We’ve actually ... won !” [Ceyx]

“Exactly as he said !” [Ayame]

“And no one died ... Amazing !” [Lucifer]

Andel ... I didn’t understand everything that happened but ...

“Thank you !” [Antalia]
