“This is what I managed to figure out so far : when seven months ago I killed that bitch , her soul went to the Purgatory Realm . As mentioned by Valdar , Sovereigns and Celestials have complete access to the memories of those in their domain .
This is how you found out about my existence and more importantly about my power . Then , when I used Fourth Revelation : Space Warp , you interfered force opening a new exit to this Realm . At that time I thought that the energy I felt in the transdimensional tunnel was only the natural law of this world , but it was you .
Next, you gave Valdar information about me, and he used the fact that we are stuck here to make me fight in the upcoming war .
And you were the final card to be assured that I will fight with everything I got ... Pretending to be a slave , getting my attention , being near me for over six months and then , right before the grand event , sleeping with me .
This much was easy to figure out ... What don't I understand is why do you want so badly me to fight in this war ?
I understood the rules, and it should not be impossible to win the war without me ... So ... ” [Andel]

There are a total of 9 dimensional planes . Two billion years ago , each Astral Plane had a total of 3 dimensional planes under their rule .
In the same time , every ten thousand years a planar war takes place . If an Astral Plane manages to win ten battles in a row , then one of the dimensional mortal planes is passed to the winner from the other party .
Still , the fighting power of the three realms was pretty much equal . So , for a long time, there was no progress .
Unfortunately, about half a million years ago Celestial Lucifer had a son , Ceyx .
His son was not a Celestial or a Sovereign , but his fighting power was enormous . Furthermore , as you already know , Celestials and Sovereigns are not allowed to attack during a war , only to defend .
In this conditions , Ceyx seized the opportunity and defeated again and again both the Heaven and the Purgatory Realms .
Twenty thousand years ago , the Heaven Realm lost its thirtieth battle in a row . Not having any dimensional planes left , the Heaven Realm is not qualified to participate in the ten thousand years war anymore .
As for the Purgatory Realm ... We are at our twenty-ninth lost . If we lose this time as well , it’s the end ... No mortal planes mean no souls . In time our power will diminish, and we will be at the mercy of the Infernal Realm ... ” [Balcifer]
Holly shit ... Did not see that coming ... And here I thought that all this war was only for fun .
Well , now at least I can agree with her actions . They were in a desperate situation, and I was pretty much their only hope ...

March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write.This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.
