《Origin of death》Chapter 10: Power levels

On the ashen ground, Amirel stands while talking to the system.
"What do you mean that he is still asleep?"
System sighs and starts explaining.
After your body was created you've fallen asleep right?
Amirel raises his eyebrow showing how confused he is.
"Yes"
Hearing his confirmation system continues.
The same happened to the other three. Order was the first to wake up after him, was your turn and not long after that nature awoke.
Hearing this explanation death quickly get the idea about a situation.
"So, You want to tell me that Power is still asleep?"
Yep. I don't know when he will wake up and I can't tell you what he and Spark planned.
Amirel got curious about these 'plans'. This means that Spark and Power have some hidden agenda that makes him uncomfortable.
"Can you at least tell if it's dangerous?"
He was worried that this whole plan might turn out to be against his intentions. If that is the case he would need to be prepared.
No, it's not. It is just an idea that power had in order to understand this planet better. I will explain it to you in due time but it is still too early for that.
He felt relieved that it did not end as he assumed, but even then his ever-present poker-face did not falter at all.
"Wont he be to far behind us when he wakes up?"
Don't worry, right now the amount of points you are making is minuscule. In the future, you will be considering thousands of points as basically nothing. In other words in the grand scheme of things, he is not losing that much.
Another few minutes passed in silence. Amirel gets near another soul that is waiting for trial.

Then he stopped and asked another question to the system.
"Before, you talked about ranks. What is it about those?"
Ah. I'm sorry I forgot to tell you.
System answers immediately. She was supposed to explain this at the beginning but she forgot about that and now Amirel reminded her about that.
So, the tiers of beings are as follows: demigod, god, origin and creator. All of them have ranks from one to ten. Each next stronger than the previous one, the rank 5 of each is comparable to the rank 1 of the next. The exceptions are angels. Their rank 1 is hopelessly weak, but rank 4 can already equal a god of 1 rank. Is this enough?
Amirel understands that this is very important so he starts asking questions to clear his doubts.
"Does that mean that when someone advances to the next tier they got weaker?"
Well yes but actually no. That someone would become significantly weaker but would gain a lot of potential growth and their essence would become more powerful. Besides that, they would gain benefits and possibilities from the said tier. For example one of the basic benefits of advancing from God to the origin is that your realm gets way bigger and that you can obtain subordinate gods.
He thought about the system's words and get the idea that despite losing power there are great upgrades that are outweighing that loss.
"By the way system, do you know something about the more specific and advanced appliance of my domain?"
No. I only know the basics. More advanced stuff you need to figure out by yourself.
It will take at least a few more minutes before reaching their destination.
"How do you even know that much. I can understand that Spark created you but from what I felt from him he was not a death God."

He did not create me. I only know that he found me and asked me to help him. I don't remember anything more.
Amirel didn't believe her but despite that, he does not want to pry into her secrets. He knows that it might cause him more trouble than anything else.
Unknown to him system felt sad and angry at herself for lying.
'I'm sorry. I promise that I will tell you everything one day. I just hope that you won't hate me for this...my creator.'

World Step (Rewrite)
This is a rewrite of my story World Step. Though, in reality, this is my first serious draft. The shadows grow deeper on the planet of Whorrl even as a dark, and ancient ritual takes place within the depths of The Abyssal Mouth—a chasm of both fortune and calamity. The story follows Quintin, a Grandmaster Martial Artist from Earth, as unforeseen elements conspire against him from the depths of space. *No Harem *Strong MC, but by no means does he go through enemies without injury or at least learning something. *Throw on [Horror], and possibly [Psychological] elements. *Dark Fantasy with some [Grimdark] leanings. Notes: this will be a place where I endeavor to rewrite and fix issues. With that in mind, expect revisions, edits, and other things of that nature.

First of all I'm writing for fun and I do not have a set schedule. Secondly I am releasing the Prologue as a test and if it gets good reviews I will carry on writing . Also if haven’t read/watched Overlord or Dragon Ball then you probably won’t understand a lot of this so I recommend doing so. My native language is English but there will probably be some mistakes so let me know if you find any. This is my first fiction so any advice is welcomed. Disclaimer:I do not own Dragon Ball or Overlord Other Disclaimer: I also do not own the cover art. If the owner wants me to take it down please tell me and I will do so immediately.
