Blue Pharmacy

Shalltear wasn't sure what to make out of all of this. Miach and Naaza were rather nice with her, as all weaklings should be. They had given her a place to sleep even though she didn't really need one.

Miach seemed like he wanted to console her. She felt conflicted as it was normal for lower life-forms to care for her, but could she really accept the concerns of lower beings?

No, this was not something Miach could possibly understand. Shalltear didn't need his solace. She could not bother him with her feelings. She felt somewhat sick as she realized she was caring about a weakling. What is wrong with her? Is she betraying Nazarick? The thought was unthinkable, yet she thought about it, even if indirectly.

Shalltear did her best to hold her bloody tears as she thought about all of this. The supreme beings must've decided to throw her away because she would be daring to care about lower life-forms.

Would eliminating Miach prove her loyalty to them? No, they aren't even watching. The vampire wasn't exactly sure where her life was going. Why was she, a creation of the supreme beings, going to be helping out humans? Shalltear never asked for this.

She was a disgrace to all of them. Perhaps she could give the supreme beings a tribute.

Yes, she had to send offerings to her gods and vent out her frustration on some more people at the same time, but she'll have to be discreet about it. She didn't want to reveal her little girl persona as a criminal and that would bring trouble to Miach and Naaza… Not that she cared about these weaklings but giving them trouble was pointless.

"[Perfect Unknowable]"

Shalltear completely erased her presence and left her bed. She entered the room Naaza slept in and cast [Sleep]. Even though she was already asleep, the spell will ensure she does not wake up until morning. She then walked through the building, still invisible, to try and find Miach's room and did the same thing to him. Shalltear simply did not want them to notice that she had been gone off to somewhere in the middle of the night. These lower life-forms did not have to worry about her well-being. They could not possibly understand what she was going through… No one could, but herself.

Once that was done, she went on to change her clothes to one of the dress sets Lord Peroroncino gave her before going out of the shop and taking off [Perfect Unknowable] along with the Hide Undead Abilities Ring.

It consisted of a dress made of pure white fabric that had been elaborately embroidered, and under the hem, she wore a pair of high heels which sparkled like diamonds. She had an extravagant array of rings, jewelry and other necklaces. It would make anyone think that she was some noble's daughter.

She wore a white hat with flowers. Under the hat, her face was hidden by a bone-white mask with only two holes to let a pair of glowing crimson red eyes see through.

All in all, Shalltear was pretty sure that no one would associate her current attire with the little girl she impersonated earlier despite both being short and having shoulder length silver hair. Another difference was that she stuffed her bra to make her breasts look bigger in this dress while her chest was pretty much flat in her earlier clothing that she borrowed from the guild.

In the dark of the night, her red eyes looked over at a very strange location. While it was too far to see much, she could see that some buildings were made upside down and the position of buildings seemed off. Thinking that this district was a good place to start exploring and perhaps finding some fun people to kill, her eyes locked up on one of those strange buildings in the distance and she said in a low voice: "[Greater Teleportation]"

She vanished from her previous spot in front of Miach's Blue Pharmacy and reappeared on the rooftop a building faraway by using a teleportation spell. Through her vampiric night vision, she could see as if it was the day and the sight of the place, she had teleported to was truly baffling.

"This is ridiculous." Shalltear laughed at the sight in front of her. The place looked like a slum, but what made it stand out was how buildings were shaped, alleyways going through rooms and door in weird angles. Anyone unable to jump from roof to roof would find it hard to get out of this district. Did they really want to make a maze out of one of this city's districts? Perhaps not if there are arrows on the walls were pointing the way out.

She might be able to get some fun out of this place. As far as she could see, this place was a slum, so the people would not be missed if they were to die. The vampire really needed to kill some people to please her masters, but she didn't want to get too much attention on herself. A group of criminals would definitely be the best option to lash out on.

"[Summon Household]" Shalltear chanted.

As she casted her spell, different familiars were summoned out of nowhere and surrounded Shalltear on one of the building's rooftops.

Her household consisted of vampire bat swarms covering the air and vampire wolves covering the ground. Adding their completely dark attire with only their red eyes that could be spotted, Shalltear's household could be quite useful for reconnaissance at night.

"Find something interesting, my familiars." At her words, the bats took off and examined the air in every direction while the wolves descended the rooftops and began running through the alleyways in search for something that might please their mistress.
