Chapter 4
“No, Not an earthquake, It’s one of Murg’s ships.”
After hearing those words Moon’s heart skipped a beat. She felt all the fear going to her chest as her heart was beating so hard it felt like it would fly out of her chest.
“Impossible!” Max said shocked.
The ground started to move rapidly. BOOM, the ground had been blasted open. Rocks flew everywhere. Garnet grabbed Moon and took her under the table and hovering above her back. Esmeralda took Max with her. Esmeralda peeked at the guards.
“The universe is against me for some reason.” She whispered.
Max peeked too and saw a general who Esmeralda embarrassed and then she swore revenge from Esmeralda.
“We need to get out of here.” Garnet mouthed.
“How?” Esmeralda mouthed back.
Garnet pointed to a hole which was created by the laser that destroyed the ground.
“We need a plan.” Max said.
“Max link our brains together.” Esmeralda whispered.
“You think I don’t hear you.” The general said.
“What if we make a distraction so we can get out of here.” Moon suggested.
“That is a good plan.” Esmeralda said while pouting in agreement.
“So, who is going to do the distraction?” She continued.
Everyone looked at her.
“What!” Each of them raised their eyebrows.
“The universe is really against me.” She said and then Max pushed her
“There you are!” The general said looking at her balancing.
“Uhhh……. Hi?” Esmeralda waved to the general.
She watched as Moon and the others walked right pass the guards and they didn’t even look at them.
“What are you doing and how are doing what you are doing?” She asked in her head.
“They can’t see us. In their head there is nothing where we are standing because I can control what they see. Therefore, they can’t see us.”

“WHY WOULD DID YOU NOT DO THAT WITH ME?!” She yelled.
“Because we wanted to see what you would do, and she is getting suspicious.” Max said looking at the general.
“I would love to chit chat but, I have to go.” Esmeralda said looking at the general
“Stop her!” The general yelled pointing at them.
Esmeralda inhaled a deep breath and the exhaled. Everyone in the room who didn’t hold something flew away and crashed to a wall, the absorbed the guards. Unfortunately, the general had seen that coming
“Seriously!” Esmeralda said drooping down
Fire formed under her feet and fists as she used the fire as a jetpack. She flew up but the general right behind.
“Bro what do I have to do to lose you.” She said throwing fire balls.
She stopped and roared, fire came of her mouth and hands and feet all that fire came for the general. She looked at it, she dodged as expected a humongous rock came flying for her and it took her with it.
“General Equilibrion Defeated again from the same person. How embarrassing.” Esmeralda said mockingly still flying because of the fire coming out of her feet. She slowly landed and Moon jumped on her.
“AHHHH!” She yelled falling down with Moon.
“DOG PILE!!!!” Max yelled before jumping on both of them
“OOF.” Moon and Esmeralda said when he jumped on them.
“We need to go now.” Garnet said looking at their childish behavior.
Esmeralda lifted both with a lot of air.
“Woaaah.” Moon said flying in the air.
“Where do we go anyway?” Moon Asked.
“I know a place.” Garnet said walking to the front of the group. Esmeralda puts the ‘children’ down. They follow garnet to a river.

“A river???? What kind of joke is this?” She asked looking at Garnet.
“Esme, open it up.” Garnet said.
Esmeralda put the backside of her hands together and her knuckles were touching each other she slowly started to part them and the river did the same. The river was split into two halves infront her.
“Let’s go.” Garnet said walking on the path. Max was next and then Moon Esmeralda was in the end. Moon watched all the fishes in the water. Max grabbed one of them and threw it on Esmeralda.
“Ahh...Ewww. Fish slime.” She said as she removed it by water bending.
“Hehe” Moon Snickered at the them.
“We’re here.” Garnet said looking at a cave.
“Yeah boi.” Max ran inside.
“What exactly is here?” Moon asked.
“Backup home.” Esmeralda replied.
“Oh” She walked in and saw a lot of underwater gems that were lighting the place up. A bubble was surrounding her head which was enabling her to breathe.
“This is your backup home. It’s so cool!” She said looking at the place.
“For a moment there I thought you didn’t like it.” Esmeralda said.
“I’m tired.” Moon said after falling down on the couch.
“Then take a nap, you have to be fresh to control your past lives.” Garnet said taking off her sweater.
Moon was about to drift to sleep Max started to ran inside completely wet and said something in Garnet’s ear her face was between shocked and scared.
“Is something wrong?” Moon asked getting up.
“We need to leave.” Garnet looked at Moon.
“Where?” Esme asked coming down after having a bath.
“Somewhere, but we can’t stay here” Max said looking in a back pack.
“What’s that?” Moon asked pointing to the back pack.
“Weapons.” He said tossing a bow and arrows to Esme, a plasma gun to Garnet, a sword to Moon and he himself had katanas.
“Why do we need weapons?” Moon said looking at her sword.
“Also, can I have the plasma gun?” She asked looking at Garnet. Garnet passed the gun to her and took the sword.
“How is this possible? It’s Equilibrion again.” Esme said looking outside the window.
“What! I thought you crushed her.” Moon said narrowing her eyebrows.
“It takes a lot of power and strength to crush her.” Esme said opening the door and bending the water.
“Plus, we didn’t even have breakfast and I’m hungry.” Max said rubbing his stomach in circles.
They moved out and went out from the other side of the river. They kept walking and found a cave Esme took her slippers off and closed her eyes and nodded Garnet went inside Esme, Max and Moon followed.
‘How do they keep finding us?’ Moon thought.
‘I don’t know?’ Max said in her head.
‘You have telepathy, then why don’t you read her mind and tell us how do they keep tracking us?’ Moon said walking down a cave with the others. She looked at Max and saw that he was thinking about something. They reached a place which was spherical in shape. Max sat down in the middle and started meditating. Everyone was thinking the same thing.
‘How is she tracking us?’
‘I know how she is tracking us.’ Max said after a few minutes while standing up.
“How?” Esme asked.
He pointed at Moon.
“What?!?!”

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe. You can read them here: Dark Fantasy Short Stories.
