"OUCH!!!" I yelled out as my back hit the wall. The one who smacked me back was a girl, shabbily dressed in her high school uniform and she reeks of, well whatever she was smoking a little before smashing me here. Well, this is an alleyway so there is no audience aside from her fellow delinquents.
"You really don't get it, do you? Sakue has told you numerous time that she won't go home with you. why don't you stop already like an adult you are" She said those words right before my mouth on full burnt of her foul smell. I'm going to pass out.
Sakue Hiroto is my sister. She was a loving sister but recently she has been in company with her school senior delinquents. She has changed totally and is becoming more of a delinquent day by day and I, as her brother can't let the thing be this way.
And on top of it, I'm a gentleman. Don't think that I'm a coward always getting smacked around by girls younger than me.
"Brother", my trail of thoughts were interrupted by a voice I'm most familiar with, My sister's.
"Saku!! I have always said this and I would say it again. Please behave and come home again. Don't hurt me like this." I said this with the bottled feeling inside me from numerous previous failure to persuade her.
She sighed loud enough for me and all other 4-5 delinquents present there.
"Come home? The home where you are absent for the whole day and only come to sleep at night to disappear in the morning again." She blurted that out with an ice cold voice which froze me. What she said was true but I couldn't do anything about it. If I don't work overtime, we will starve.

"You clearly know why I can't do tha........."
"Go home. I'm not coming." I was cut off and she turned to leave.
"Saku" I tried to run after her but I was blocked by the delinquents. I failed again. I really wish that I was a man enough to hit these annoying bitches.
Way Home
One hand in my pocket and another holding the locket that our late mother gave me. I went silent reminiscing her memory. We never knew our father and our mother passed away when we were young. She overworked herself for us. Since then, it has only been us or rather just me now.
Don't worry mother. I will make everything alright with her soon enough. Please continue looking after us. As I finished my prayer I have almost reached the road crossing.
"Uwoohh" A baby was happy in her mother's arms so I smiled at it and looked up to see its mot.......
Today is seriously not my day. I sighed inwardly. The baby's mother was one who held most of my regret. The girl who promised an eternity with me and went away to get married to someone else.
"H-Hi" My greeting came out awkward and she answered her hello in a similar manner.
We kept walking and I glanced for a bit but again I felt something heavy on my heart. Tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
"Ano Sasaki......san" As soon as I said that she broke into a run. I didn't know what to do until I noticed the signal turning red. Without thinking twice, I ran after her.
That's when it happened, she continued running without noticing the traffic lights, a speeding truck came her way. And every spectator knew she was dead if it hit her along with her baby.

Just in time. I cheered inwardly pushing her out of the way. The last terror I felt when I noticed the truck before me.
All my past memories, good, bad, of my sister and my mom ending with lots of things I couldn't do. Add dying virgin to that.
The last thing that came was a nerve-wracking pain through my body and the world darkening to pitch black.
Somewhere
So it is already time for you to wake up again. A figure emitting a mighty aura can be seen murmuring to himself.

Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job. Still, the scars from his childhood made Omari unable to live a dull life. He dreamed of something greater... something beyond the reaches of what humankind could achieve in the current era.Like always, Omari should have been careful what he wished for. In the year 2046, the World was thrown into chaos as the apocalypse came in the form of massive trees that shot up out of the ground one day. These trees towered over the tallest of buildings and had thicknesses that spanned kilometers at a time. They grew everywhere, in homes, businesses, and cities as they formed a complex network that overlayed the old world. The cause of the apocalypse was unknown, but Omari's workplace was believed to be the origin point of the unfortunate events.Fifteen years after the start of the Apocalypse... after all the pain and suffering... after losing everything he cared about, Omari sent his memories back in time to make sure that the future he lives in, never came to be.Will he be able to uncover the mystery of The Trees? Will he be able to protect all those he has lost? Will he succeed, or will his attempt be washed away by the currents of time? Will Omari be able to learn the truth about 'THE MYTH OF THE WORLD'S TREES'?
