019. Murdering Hat
Ooze Gulp, Ooze Gulp, Ooze Gulp. Deep in one of the many, massive, never-ending forests of the Kingdom of Fyrsta, all one could hear was the wind blowing in the trees, and a strange oozing sound, with the occasional plopping sound of something dropping into said ooze. Of course, this sound was made by David as he slowly but surely ate the remains of the dead Tyrannosaurus Rex he had killed himself, wait, that's not right, It was killed by some random Jackalope while David himself was hiding away almost fainting in fear.
Thankfully, after the jackalope had left it seemed that there were no other monsters nearby at the moment, so David could enjoy his meal in peace and get some free LF. Altho he didn't know how long this would last for so he was "eating" it as fast as he could, which was surprisingly fast given he was a slime and they were able to eat non stop. Each piece of meat would give 1-5 LF and since the T-rex was so large their was a veritable mountain of LF just sitting there waiting for David to collect it all.
"Sigh, eating this thing is going to take forever. Now I have nothing to do."
"What? What? Nothing to do? What in the world are you talking about? you have SOOOOOO much to do right now I have no idea where you should start!" Mimi exclaimed in a frantic manner while puffing out her cheeks.
"What are you talking about? My second body only has to eat for now, and our monsters are doing fine on their own right now catching bugs, and I don't have the LF to do much else yet." David said in a despondent tone.
"Idiot, idiot, it's no wonder Aidan had to set me up as a help function for you. You REALLY REALLY have no idea how to act as a [Dungeon Master] Do you? I was wondering why you hadn't started to do it yet, but you really are stupid. Its the number 1 thing all [Dungeon Masters] usually do, even before summoning their first monster. But you, the idiot that you are haven't even started doing it yet after so long."

"And pray tell my cranky little [Dungeon Fairy], what is this oh so magnificent task that you are talking about? From the sounds of it, it is a most glorious task."
"harrumph, harrumph, ya that's right butter me up, just like that. What I'm talking about is starting to BUILD YOUR FREEKING DUNGEON! All you have done so far is to build a small little path to the surface, AND NOTHING ELSE! Most Dungeons have built at least 2 to 3 corridors and AT LEAST 1 or 2 more rooms before even making their first monster!"
"Oh, that's right! That's one of the things that Dungeons do, isn't it? Make mazes with traps and things to catch adventurers and stuff. I do have that [Dig] skill that I haven't done much with yet."
"That [Dig] skill that I haven't done much with yet? That [Dig] skill that I haven't done much with yet!! Are you kidding me? Other than summoning, the digging skill is one of your number 1 skills! What if some random wiled level 1 monster finds our dungeon and is able to shatter your crystal because it's right at the entrance? What would you do then? Nothing because you would be dead! Huf, puff." After saying all that Mimi was breathing heavily and leaning against the stalagmite that Davids crystal was floating above with her wings quivering with exhaustion.
"Um, ya, you ARE the help function, when I do stupid things like that your suppose to put me on the straight and narrow."
"Oh, Oh, you're right, my bad. I should have mentioned it earlier, teehee. So now that you know what to do, what are you going to do? How you build your dungeon now might affect your whole future as a [Dungeon Lord]."

"What do you mean affect my whole future? Isn't it just some random halls and rooms with monsters and traps spread randomly?"
"Too naive, way too naive. There is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more to it than just that. There are so many different kinds of dungeons out there that its impossible to count them all. Like Labyrinth Dungeons which are the most common altho with LOTS of variations, but there are also City dungeons that make whole cities for people to live in and passively absorb their LF, or even business Dungeons that sell goods they can make for LF. Shure, they might all start the way you described, but unlike you, most of them start off as nothing but stupid brainless idiots acting on nothing but instinct. Scratch that you don't even have instinct."
"Hey, that hurts you know. As you well know I use to be a normal human on a world that didn't even have any magic, but you are right that I have NO clue as to what the hell I'm doing here. Also, its good to know I don't have to be a mass murderer if I don't want to."
"Well, well its to early to say that right now, you don't have the ability to passively absorb LF or any other means to get it other then the death of many, many, MANY, living things yet, so put on your murdering hat and get ready to work at a moment's notice. You still need to unlock those abilities from the skill trees."
"Sigh, and here I thought I wouldn't have to be a murder machine, damn those random ass names for skill trees I will have no Idea what the tree does before I unlock it. Oh well, I think we got a little off topic there.
So now that I know that there are several different ways for me to eventually build my dungeon what should I do?"
"Herm, herm, well at this point there aren't really that many options for you, so all you can do for now is to start making the ol'classic, the Labyrinth type. You can change it later depending on what kind of Dungeon Master you want to be. But until then it's murder machine Time!"
"Fine, what ever, I'm going to start diging now."
