《Godly Otaku System: A Gamelit/Xianxia novel (Old Version)》Chapter 5-The most terrifying support skill is double edged!!

In that instance, Zhen Shi truly looked heroic with the strange pressure emanating from his body, his hair blowing in the breeze, the slight trickle of blood at the corner of his chin and the sheer look of unbendable will in his eyes. Well, at least he would have if it wasn't for the front-only covering dirty loincloth lightly fluttering in the wind..... it truly ruined the image!
Still, Zhen Shi neither knew nor paid any attention to this, as he was completely focused on the strong opponent in front of him. He instantly flicked his hand activating a skill and threw a Hell's Flare at Xue Yuegui. But with lightning crackling over his body Xue Yuegui easily sidestepped the fireball, with a grin of confidence.
Xue Yuegui was aware of Zhen Shi's crazy fast reaction speed, and so to make things easier for himself he was planning on exhausting Zhen Shi of his energy before attacking. But Zhen Shi immediately realized this fact as well. As such, unwilling to let the situation turn into a war of attrition Zhen Shi prepared to open the choice chest he had received for reaching the foundation establishment stage.
But a well-placed gust of wind, or for Zhen Shi and Xue Yuegui a truly horribly placed gust of wind, blew through the grasslands easily flipping over the front flap of the loincloth. This was a source of great shame to Zhen Shi and an eye-blinding view to Xue Yuegui!

WHAT THE MOTHERFUCKING LOINCLOTH! I've been jumping here and there like a kangaroo this entire time, but this frapping loincloth never moved nor gave a peep. But now when I was barely getting into this fight and standing totally still, you decide to reveal me for all to see!
SYSTEM I KNOW THIS IS YOUR DOING! This time you have teamed up with the wind itself to shame me!

Congratulations to the user for learning UNGRADEABLE SKILL .
Created Skill: [Iron Tier Support Skill. A simple action of revealing oneself will cause shameful feelings to arise in all affected men, even the heavens itself! The sheer difference in size will cause all to be stupefied in shame! All those affected will act as if they've been blinded and with next to no mental faculties. Its effect will simply be momentary on higher tier cultivators. The skill is upgradeable. Unknown effects might occur....]

The skill has reached Copper-tier!
One look at the dazed Peak Soul formation expert Xue Yuegui who was standing still as if nothing else mattered, caused Zhen Shi to tremble in excitement while forgetting his shame.
The heavens are truly fair! Good fortune indeed lies within misfortune. If this skill can daze a cultivator this much powerful than me, while still in the Iron tier. I can't imagine how much OVERPOWERED it could get in the future. I do admit it's a shameless skill, but power is power! There is nothing to question and I just have to be careful to use this skill when I am alone.
However, Zhen Shi couldn't help but feel a shiver run up his spine as he read the last sentence of the skill description, "Unknown effects....".

Almost immediately a heavy and repeating panting sound could be heard. Zhen Shi slowly raised his head in fear, only to see the Xue Yuegui panting heavily with reddened eyes. A bestial aura had risen around him as he looked at Zhen Shi like he was eyeing a slab of meat!
"Little boy, what have you done to me? It seems you have bewitched me? Hmm, looks like I'll have to use you to relieve myself. I'll play with you and kill you. A much more happy ending than you deserve. Now COME TO DADDY!" he roared while dashing forwards while using all of his lightning power simply to dash forwards.
Zhen Shi in fear suddenly gained insights into applying fire and wind elemental energies. With his 20x reaction speed boost and earth elemental energy as well, his movement speed was now very fast. Hence he easily dodged Xue Yuegui who had fallen to the mental level of a beast in heat and no longer used the lightning qi properly in battle. Xue Yuegui who completely underestimated his maximum strength and speed missed Zhen Shi and shot off like lightning to a distance of several kilometers.
Now with room to breath, Zhen Shi lightly relaxed, "Fuck, looks like this overpowered skill is A DOUBLE EDGED BLADE! But why did this happen? No.... WAIT! Didn't that Xue Yuehai fellow mention something about both him and his father making me feel what it is to be on the receiving end? That has to be it... This shameless father of his must-have affected my skill with his tendencies. Looks like I'll have to be careful about who I use this skill on," and concluded.
Still, to make sure, he asked mentally, "Hey System, explain the side effects of this skill in detail."
Ding!
is still a copper tier skill. As UNGRADEABLE it has the potential to rise in tier. Certain special individuals will exhibit strange symptoms as here when used. But the deciding factor is the cultivation level difference. Since the power between user and target is great, the blinding effect was easily neglected. Still, the skill will affect the mental faculties of even such powerhouses.
Zhen Shi considered this information silently. This could be considered as a true cheat skill that has in cases like this, it will reduce their intelligence and thought processes. This much of an effect while being in the lowest tiers...
But suddenly, these conclusions were thrown to the sea as his face contorted lecherously, I wonder what effects this skill will have on women!
Ding!
More information has arisen upon further analysis.
Oh? The system is being seriously helpful.
Ding!
To employ maximum power of user must personally act and reveal himself to the target.
ರ_ರ
NANI? SYSTEM, DO YOU THINK I'M A MALE STRIPPER? Here I was praising you, I TAKE IT ALL BACK...
Wait... could it be that the system got mad when I thought of using this on women? So is the system a feminist?
System "....."
Ignoring this unhappy turn of events, Zhen Shi now turned to look at the still panting Xue Yuegui in heat. With his mental faculties affected, he was now an easy target. "Hell's Flare!!" Zhen Shi shouted repeatedly as he threw out balls of hell's flare like throwing stones. His energy dropped to a mere quarter of the total as he attacked until the entire area surrounding Xue Yuegui was covered in domes of hell's flare. Under the effects of the hell's flare, Xue Yuegui's terrifying roars could be heard... and stopped.

Even though Xue Yuegui was no longer roaring in pain, Zhen Shi frowned as he did not notice any notifications granting experience. This meant that Xue Yuegui was still alive!
The hellfire domes gradually disappeared, revealing a half-burnt Xue Yuegui. His face had melted off, leaving only a face of charred muscles. All that remained of his robes were charred black filth which clung on to his burnt skin. Even to a peak soul transformation cultivator, the dark black hell's fire cannot be so easily shaken off! His face, or what was left of it, contorted in pain and Xue Yuegui roared out loud as any semblance of sanity he had was lost under the pain. Although, he had been severely injured and disfigured he was nowhere near dying. Thus his desire to take down the one who had dealt him this pain burned brightly.
Suddenly a terrifying pressure emanated out from his half-burned body. And a dark black bloody miasma wafted out from his body. This miasma formed into a terrifying monster with the head of a crocodile, torso of a leopard and hindquarters of a hippo. It was hideous to look at, but a terrifying almost god-like presence could be felt. Zhen Shi noticed that this was the same monster formed from the battle formation of those earlier cultivators...
Ding!
Target Soul Transformation cultivator has successfully sacrificed his remaining life force to gain god aether and summoned an Ammit persona!
Target cultivator has broken free of Shaming the Heavens!
Target cultivator has reached a pseudo-Nascent Soul stage!
As Zhen Shi looked on, the miasma monster was absorbed into Xue Yuegui's burnt body. Instantly his body shuffled about like worms in mud, his bones cracked and his flesh shifted as he turned into a monster rather similar to the one of miasma. The now beastly Ammit-Xue Yuegui vanished as he/she dashed towards Zhen Shi with claws outstretched for the kill. With a roar, Ammit-Xue Yuegui slashed his/her claws at Zhen Shi's head sending forth a terrifying claw strike of qi.
Zhen Shi immediately realized that he would have a hard time blocking this attack. Thus he stared at the Ammit personified Xue Yuegui and shamelessly lifted the front flap of his loincloth while shouting, "Shaming the heavens!"
The 100% strike of the now silver-tier !
Ding!
Temporarily, the target has lost mental faculties and thus lost control of the god aether.
Regardless of this success, the full-powered claw strike empowered with god aether was still arriving towards his poor head. Zhen Shi deciding to take no more risks took out the lesser Spatial tear sword from the item inventory. And with his full power, he swung out the sword in the direction of the claw attack and the dazed Ammit-Xue Yuegui. A terrifying chaotic sword slash swept through the grassland originating from the tip of the spatial tear sword. As the sword slash streaked forwards it left spatial waves destabilizing the surroundings. Trees, Rocks, and Plants basically anything and everything that these spatial waves came in to contact with were simply disintegrated. Finally, this spatial sword strike reached Xue Yuegui. He continued to be dazed and mindless even as the full power of a Nascent Soul stage expert ripped his monstrous body apart and all the space around him. He was ripped apart into nothing by the spatial chaos! The area all around the strike grew blurry due to unstable space.
Zhen Shi was quite amazed at the power of the sword as he stared at the destruction of the spatial sword strike.
Ding!
Congratulations to the user for slashing apart a peak soul transformation expert!
Zhen Shi heaved a sigh of relief at the system's confirmation. Now that he was free of fear, he felt that he was mostly satisfied at having bested the system. After all, he used the sword to attack instead of fleeing!
SYSTEM I TOLD YOU I'LL USE IT AS A WEAPON!!
System "..."
Still, Zhen Shi felt like his luck today wasn't so good after all. Although he got reincarnated into a world perfect for him chock full of familiar gods, and although he got a system, he had been facing enemy after enemy since the moment he arrived! He had also been falling into ridiculous situations!
Well, his luck just got worse... The area which had been blurred under unstable space grew clear and as the unstable spatial tear stabilized, it revealed a dangerous sight!
Apparently, the spatial attack had phased right through the claw strike. Although the spatial attack had struck Ammit-XueYuegui and eviscerated him, his claw strike had remained safe. And it now struck full force on Zhen Shi's body, who didn't even have time to defend.
A terrifying claw mark appeared on his chest and slashed his flesh apart even reaching his bones. Blood splattered everywhere and the pain was unspeakable...
He felt himself losing consciousness and so with the last of his consciousness pushed himself towards the now stable spatial tear. He was unwilling to be captured by experts who might come due to the spatial disturbance and just bleed to death in this place.
As he entered spatial tear, the chaos in it attempted to rip his already damaged body apart. But the primordial chaos base in his dantian sent out a thread of energy. This caused the chaos to calm down and instead to wrap around his body protectively. However, this action caused him further strain and to finally lose his consciousness. And just before he did, his final thought, FUCK! I bragged like a king, but in the end, I used the sword to flee! System this was your plan all along wasn't it?

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

8 86The Descarrian Abyss: Level One
[2/6/20 : Major rewrites and restrucuring for Chapters 1-4]Framed for the murder of his landlady, sixteen year old Arahn Keys has been sentenced to death. A last minute reprieve comes in the form of the slightly mad cartographer Calan’dal, who hires him and four other death row inmates as bodyguards for his dangerous expedition into the bowls of a labyrinthine dungeon known as the Descarrian Abyss. Should they succeed in helping the deranged elf reach his goal, the legendary Heart of the Abyss, Arahn and his fellow criminals will be free to go. Alongside his new elven master Arahn is joined by Morvar: a half-troll brute, Cathran: a young herbalist’s apprentice who professes her innocence, and Evan and Lem: a pair of thieving goblin twins. Together they descend into the Abyss, knowing they will have to work together or else perish in the bowels of the dark labyrinth, becoming victims of the deadly traps and ferocious creature’s legend to reside within. [This is an early draft. Looking for feedback on characters/story as I work on my ideas.]
