《Yvitril - Book One: Runeskin》Worldbuilding - The 4 Reptaic races

Reptera
Reptaic - A reptilian race with 4 subraces, generally scaly with raspy voices. Not many speak in common tongue, with the exception of some educated Agal and Slisk (with the rare occurrence of Frillback and Cro). Each race is bipedal, with 2 arms similar to humans. Each subrace has their own variant of the Reptaic language, but can usually understand each other fairly easily.
Agaln (referred to as "an Agali")
[Ah-galn / Ay-galn, either pronunciation is accepted] - The most well-spoken of the four races, the Agaln have the friendliest relations with other races, and are often seen integrating with other societies. Agaln societies are usually democratic. The most intelligent of the Repteran races in terms of general world knowledge. They are also the most humanoid, in build and in mindset. Their build is more muscular than the average human, but they stand at roughly the same height and body type. They often have spiked ridges along the tops of their heads, and their tails. They are also known to have sharp fins along their heads, usually ending at the bottom of their neck. Their tails are usually shorter, ending before or soon after they touch the ground. Their eyes are various shades of gold with a long black pupil. Their body is scaly, but no other significant difference from humans. They have 2 rows of teeth that gradually get duller the further back in the jaw the teeth are. They have 2 slightly elongated fangs that are significantly sharper than the rest of their teeth. Agaln usually have a dull poison that can paralyze, but is rarely lethal.
Males and females have the same differences as humans - males being more muscular on average & females having a slimmer frame. Omnivores.
Slisk
The most snake-like of the 4 Repteran races. Slisk societies are generally matriarchal. The only Repteran subrace to have positive relations with Frillbacks. Slisk have long, extended necks jutting out from their generally thin torso, and a snake-like head. Their tail is slim and long. Their fangs vary in size. Their hands have 4 long and thin fingers. The potency of their venom also varies, some can be incredibly venomous, while some may not be at all. Scale color varies. Impossible to tell the difference between male and female Slisk based off of voice. Most Slisk are immune to the venom of others of their race. Slisk stand at around 7 feet on average. Carnivorous. Slisk tend to dwell in caves and other heavily shaded or damp areas. Slisk eyes are usually a more vivid color than the other Repteran races.

Male: Bulkier overall, wider necks, generally less potent venom. Scales are more vibrant in color.
Female: Slimmer overall, slimmer necks. Head generally smaller, far more potent venom on average. Duller colors.
Cro
The Croic [Cro-ick] are the best fighters of the four Repteran races. Their massive, muscular build along with their tougher scales make them great warriors. Their height varies, but they average out at around 7 feet. Their tails are bulkier and have hard ridges along them, like an alligator. Their heads are similar to that of an alligator’s, with shorter mouths. Their eyes are usually a dull, pale green with a long black pupil. Croic feet are similar to what you would see on a T-Rex. Although they are not the most intelligent subrace, they maintain somewhat civil societies that are usually open to others. Croic societies are usually patriarchal.
The only difference between male and female Croics are that females are slightly smaller in size and stature, with a more feminine figure. Most often not enough of a difference to really change anything in terms of combat. Cro tend to inhabit crudely crafted river cities, but are also known to reside in jungle/swamp environments. Carnivores.
Frillbacks
Frillbacks are the least civil of the 4 Repteran races, and the most barbaric. There is usually little control within their societies, but the majority do have a leader - the strongest in their tribe. Frillbacks show the most prominent difference between males and females of their species. Males are large and muscular - although not quite as big as Croics. They have large “flaps” that extend out when they are showing aggression. It serves the purpose of making them appear larger. While Slisk have 2 fangs that sit inside their mouth, Frillbacks’ front fangs are often too long and extend out of the top and down past the bottom of their jaw. Their faces are generally slimmer, and their necks appear thin until the frills extend. Their tails are long and pointed, but otherwise nothing unusual - just a regular lizard tail. Their feet are raptor-like, with long talons jutting out of the back toe. They are nimble and use both their tail and taloned feet to fight. Frillbacks are often waging war against Croic societies, as the two races have an intense and violent rival history.

Female frillbacks do not have frills, and are usually a more vivid color - ranging from yellow, to blue, to green. Some can be red as well. Male frillbacks are a more dull color, often being grey, black, or a dull green/blue. Frillback eyes are black with dull various colored irises. Female Frillbacks are usually far less violent as well, many of which can actually be reasoned with. Frillbacks inhabit dry climates and flat regions with little to limit view.

Re-Re:Hammer
Your average Reborn Game System story, similar to The Gamer and Solo Leveling. Written for fun rather than novilization like the others, so it is smaller and less intense. It is set in an AU Warhammer based on a slightly modified version of Warhammer Fantasy's End Times.. So you might notice names and events but don't expect it all to go the same way. And the Main Character is not the only Player in this game~ I'm kind of a catastrophe when it comes to ethic and drive. So don't be alarmed if there isnt an update for a week or three. Or if there is three updates at once. It's a rewrite of the Rehammer that is around, which means the start is mostly the same with some small changes. Chapter 15 is the first fully new chapter of the book. though Chapter 14 has a large addition. You effectively can skip to that and not missing anything major if you read the old one, if you don't wanna rewrite.

Killing Roar: Part 2: Mortal Mewling
Part 2 - Mortal Mewling: Perry's been living his dream in the guard, fighting spike feeders, proving himself to be a valuable member of the community, but his many concerns linger, weighing him down with more questions and regrets. The strange event within the dungeon. The rise of the prey-movement. The critical mass of spike feeders looming around the corner. Things have been going wrong for Titan City, and it feels like they're only going to get worse. Can he help save what he's worked for or will it all fall to ruin? Part 1 - Killing Roar: When Perry was blessed with a platypus beast soul, he thought his chances of joining the village guard were over. No one had every heard of a platypus. It seemed like an obvious prey soul, given it wasn't in the village's records. Only the strongest could be part of the village guard. He thought that would never get the chance to defend the village from the spike feeders, the deadly creatures jutting out with hazardous spikes haphazardly all over. Only predator beast souls were given the requisite training and allowed to join the village guard. Perry just didn't meet their criteria. He was also wrong.Soon Perry will live out his wildest dreams and more, as he scales the rankings of beast soul mastery, fights innumerable dangerous spike feeders and solves mysteries related to the origin of beast souls and spike feeders. And maybe, just maybe, he'll even get to join the city guard. Genre-wise, Mortal Mewling is a GameLit story (light on the GameLit) focused on action and adventure. The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. Book 2... has now begun! Updates Monday and Thursday
