(charon pov)

‘Brother?’ me and sis was walking down a path that had big tree’s with small yellow leaves that were slowly falling because of the rain,

When sis told me that we were near I looked back and I saw that brother was not following us, I stopped walking and was staring at the path we passed, sis noticed that I stopped so she also stopped and turned around.

“Charon why did you stop? ... hey where’s Argus?!” it looked like sis was going to explode, I could see that her face was starting to turn into an evil glare with an evil frown, but she then changed her face into a wide grin.

“Charon...” I jumped to my surprise due to her calling me, it’s because her stare is really starting to become into a glare and it’s really scaring me.

‘Yes?..’ I said with a low tone, I hope she won’t release her anger on me.

*sigh*

“It seems that Argus lost his way and got to meet up with father along with the baby spider, so I guess it’s just you and me…” she released her glare and only sighed, I nearly forgot, sis told me and brother recently that she is able to feel magical energy, so she must have sensed them, but if she was able to find them through magical power then that means she can also feel the magic inside a body.

‘Not going?’ if sir Aries is here then that means he is looking for the dungeon too, I asked sis if we’re going to go to brothers location.

“No, because I can’t feel their magic anymore… if I’m right then that means they entered the dungeon that viria was talking about, so instead of wasting time trying to find a dungeon that ‘finds you’ let’s just level you up… come on” it looks like they were able to enter the dungeon that they were looking for, but what is making sis not able to feel their magical energy, I just hope they are okay.

“It looks like we’re here” sis stopped walking and I accidentally bumped into her, I stepped back and looked at what she was staring at, and from the looks of it looked like some kind of man-made instead of a dungeon, well how do I explain things in detail...

I looked at sis for answers.

“Oh… it looks like you don’t know about this dungeon” well I was born recently so I don’t know that much about this forest, the only reason I looked like an adult is because of the sudden level growth.

“These two pillars are supporting the arch so that nothing can collapse and close the entrance, the one who build this was a bunch of humans last year, from what I heard they come here every six months so they can collect the ice jewel that the boss produces so they can make the summer a bit more cool, sounds lame right?.. Anyways it seems that there won’t be a boss for you to defeat since they came here last two months ago”

the pillars that sis was talking about was white marble and had moss growing all the way to the arch which was also made with marble, the cave entrance looked like someone cut it into a square shape, from its surroundings it looked like there were small stones that made it look like steps, and a bunch of mini trees that reached until the arch.

‘Let’s go!’ I can’t wait to finally get strong and gain an evolution.

me and sis entered the dungeon and it was really dark I was going to use my flames when all of a sudden it got brighter because the torches on the walls lit up that showed a white flame,

I looked at my surroundings to see that the walls looked like there were many layers of stones on top of each other, I then noticed that there was something glowing above me so I looked up I saw that the ceiling started to lit up,

“Looks like its starting… Charon!! Since you want to level up you will have to kill them yourselves, so I will just be support that protects your back, got it!” I already knew that sis was planning to be backup, so I was happy that I can have battle experience and finally be stronger,

The ceiling was bright but I was able to see that it was a circle that was glowing, and from the looks from the looks of it I think the monsters will come out from there,

The ceiling finally took its last light and died out, but before it did it released some weird shaped rock creatures that had floating balls of rocks circling them, it looks like eight have appeared,

“Watch out!” I didn’t noticed it but one of them tried to attack me with a small yellow beam, but sis was able to make a water barrier that looked like a shield, when the beam landed on the shield it made a small explosion but the water from the shield made the impact smaller,

She then jumped behind me and made the shield into miniature fishes out of water making them circle us at a fast speed,

“I can control water really well now so this won’t be a problem, its okay if you’re going to attack because I can make the barrier make a small gap so that it will pass and hit the enemy!”

I saw that she was able to control her water really well, now I’m really pumped.

‘Okay! Let’s do this!’ wow that was the first time I ever said four words in one time, but yes I was ready.

Sis made the barrier transparent so that I could see the target properly; it looked like they were simultaneously attack using an exploding beam,

So I started making the flames in my mouth really hot and started shooting at my targets, by the way it looks like I also don’t get affected by the heat even on the inside,

Anyways it looked like the rock monsters were dodging all the time.

“You must concentrate and shoot your flames when they are about to shoot those beams!” it looked like she noticed that I was struggling, but I guess she is right because I also noticed that they take their time charging their beams.

I waited until I could find the right time, because the way of them charging the beams seems to also be fast, but I waited until… NOW!

I shot my flames and controlled it to make it engulf the enemy and I killed it.

Unlike sis or brother I can’t make my element which if fire out of nothing so I must produce them first that’s why I’m currently shooting my flames instead.

The rock monster crumbled and turned into dust, and I started shooting and making my flames bigger, I think we lasted for an hour because I couldn’t wait and just started shooting randomly, but that did the trick and there was only one left.

I was having a hard time because I didn’t evolve and I was losing my patience, I was angry because I killed a lot and I didn’t even evolve, it looks like sis broke down the barrier, maybe it was because the monster was busy avoiding my flames, that’s why it was not able to shoot,

I collapsed while breathing really hard, it looks like I was out of breath, I looked up and saw that the rock monster charged its attack and was ready to shoot me but sis made a two layered dome that protected me from the blast.

“Do you want me to kill it?” sis stared at me and looked at the rock monster that was attacking again and again; I nodded confirming that I finally have had enough,

Then with a wave of her hand the barrier broke and turned into a lot of water needles all pointing towards the enemy, then the needles started hitting the monster, the monster looked like it thought that it was able to dodge because it was moving really fast from left to right but instead it just got hit and turned to ashes.

She turned around and noticed that I was starting to get brighter and when brighter I mean getting on fire.

“charon your evolving!!” I couldn’t hear what she said because I was suddenly surrounded by a brilliant flame that engulfed me and the flame was roaring,

I felt... Felt weird because I can feel changes in and out my body, I felt that my scales were becoming thicker, my claws getting sharper, my wings getting bigger and I think I’m sprouting horns?!?.

‘Ugh!’ after I was lifted into the air the flame disappeared and I fell on the floor.

“Are you alright?!” sis ran towards me and asked if I was okay, but honestly I was not… well not physically because I felt like my fighting spirit was full of it, but my body was not.

‘Fine… need rest…’ I told sis in a weak mentally exhausted voice, it looked like I was sleepy so I was starting to lose consciousness, and before I did I noticed that the ceiling was starting to glow again.

“It’s okay ill protecting you…” was the last thing I heard until I fell asleep.

Hey guys been a while I last posted, it was due to some problems and summer fun,

But anyway I couldn’t think of what to do in this chapter, well charons evolution was already planned,

But I feel like my brain din felt like It, that’s why this chapter is short, so I’m sorry for the delay and short chap, but I hope you liked that aqua made him do all the attack, because I felt like aqua was a bit too OP……
