Next thing I knew I was fast asleep on the soft soil while the rain was constantly hitting my face.

“Huh... looks like I’m back” around me was the darkness again from last time where I saw the floating sphere that was glowing, from what I remember It was like floating in water, but now it feels like I’m standing on something, almost like a floor.

‘So you’re here again…’ I turned around and saw a ram, a transparent ram that had a dim glow all around its body, the color of the glow had a soft blue color and it has it reached its horns it faded to a dark grey.

“Do I know you?” I feel like I have heard this voice before, I can’t seem to remember, but I know its somewhere in my brain, ugh I really hate that I don’t have my memories back, I haven’t gotten those head pains in a while.

‘He he… to think that I was forgotten so easily’ the voice was the same deep and powerful voice that I spoke last time. I think it was the glowing sphere that was talking to me last time.

“Are you that sphere?” I think I am correct, but if it’s true then why is he in a ram form, last time I saw him he was a sphere, and that this whole place looks really different.

‘I like to call it more of a soul, but yes I was that sphere’ I knew it!, then all of a sudden the darkness was filled with small shining dots, it’s like a night sky with stars,

‘Now tell me, why are you here Aries?’ I don’t think I ever told him my name, but he said soul, so I think he is a soul that resides within me, and that he probably knows everything about me.

“I got unconscious because of hunger! By the why, what are you, and why am I always here when I go unconscious?” I was desperate to gather Intel so that it could probably help me, I don’t know if I need it for the future, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

‘Do you want me to explain the whole thing or a short summary instead..’ I was think whether I should chose the long version or the short one, I think I’m going to chose the long one because the more detailed info the more Intel I can gather.

“The long one…” I folded my legs to make it looks like I was sitting in a lotus position.

‘Okay let’s start with what am I.

I called myself a soul, but the original term is called a ‘guardian soul’ these souls differ from normal souls because, the guardian souls reside in a body of both a human and animal, a half breed, the guardian souls reside with the normal soul in the body’

“Wait… so you’re telling me the half breeds have two souls in them?”

‘yes, the guardian souls protect the normal soul and gives the normal soul power, the guardian soul holds all of the animal traits and gives them to the normal soul so the body can use those traits’

“So that means I can have a trait to? That’s cool!!... but how come I don’t have them yet?”

‘Yes, you also have a trait, but you can’t use it yet, because off two reasons, your body is not fourteen years old yet, your soul is fifteen but your body is not, your body is still thirteen years old, the second one is that you lost all of your memories and only gained a third of it,’

“I guess I can wait for one more year, but why thirteen years old? And how come you know about my memories?“

‘The lesser gods told to every guardian soul that when the body is ready then we can give them power.

And about the memories, the lesser god you call ‘IT’ told me that when you gain your memories I will be there to ease and lessen the pain in your mind,

the others who don’t have a guardian soul has it rough, because their heads would have constant pain for days, while for you it’s just within minutes’

“I see…” so that’s why I only have that pain for a while, I must be lucky.

‘Anyways I don’t really know the reason why you are here because the other half breeds never see their guardian soul, maybe it’s because you’re hungry?’

“Maybe… So! Another question-” I wanted to know more, and it feels like I’m going to wake up soon.

‘Looks like its time, I think your waking up now’ I was right, the ram was slowly disappearing and the glow started fading, the stars started flickering out.

“Wait I still have more questions to ask!!” I looked down and it also looked like I was fading.

‘Till we meet again’ the ram then disappeared,

My surrounding started to disappear and I opened my eyes, but everything was blurry.

I was reading the window that appeared in front of my eyes and read them, it looked like I tamed a venenum, and from what I remember the boss in the dungeon was called venenum,

“Huh... I tamed… a venenum…” I was kind of confused that I tamed a venenum, I was going to get up, but something really wet and hard smacked my forehead,

“AQUA CHOP!!” I thing I heard aqua, did she.. Did she hit me?

“Ugh… ah…” I can’t believe it, aqua hit me!

I blacked out and was once again in the darkness that had a starry sky.

‘That was really fast, it seems that your back’ I got up and looked the deep voice and saw that it was a man with horns, I was expecting a transparent one but no, he looked like he had flesh.

The man had white hair and curved horns; he wore a black bandanna that covered his forehead, black leather fingerless gloves that reached all the way to his arms, straight dark grey pants that had multiple belts and small chains on his waist, black boots that had dark grey soles and the last thing I noticed was that he had a tattoo on his back.

He was thin and was really muscular. he had a toned body with a few scratches on his body, and he was holding a huge hammer.

‘So do you want to continue our conversation?’ he smiled at me and his eyes shone white, I was kind of afraid.

“How come you look different?” I wanted to know that, because he has changed his forms twice,

He waved his hands and from the darkness two black chairs and a table appeared.

‘I have many forms but I prefer to stay like this, but I have to say, were you so desperate to find more information you made yourself lose consciousness on purpose?’ it looked like his voice changed into a normal masculine voice.

“No, aqua smacked my head and lost consciousness!” I wasn’t really angry, I was actually thankful that she did this to me, because now I can talk even more to this guy.

‘To think that your pet light blue slime was smart enough to know about me, hah’ I was confused.

“What do you mean?” what did he mean by aqua knowing about him

‘It looked like she noticed the magical pressure around your body, oh! and you can call me Arian’ I was even more confused, because aqua was never able to sense mana.

“Okay, Arian, what do you mean?” at least I know his name now.

‘It means that she knew we were talking, and that she probably wanted for us to talk more? I don’t really know about her? But she a bright one’ she with a calm but deep voice while smiling, okay that smile is really creepy.

‘Oh! It seems like you will like this one’ he approached me with a wide grin and poked my head with his index finger,

‘Hope you like it, bye!’ still grinning he vanished like smoke and also the table and chairs disappeared, then my surrounding became white.

“Arghh!! Ahhh!! Aaaa!! Arghhhh!!” the pain came back and I was holding my head, adding pressure, after a few minutes the pain stopped then again would come back, this process repeated until I fainted.

“Ugh…ah!!...” I got up really fast and touched my head, looks like the pain is gone and I gained some off my memories back,

Slowly regaining my memories I remembered about my mom and dad.

“Huh.. What’s this?” I touched my face and noticed that it was wet, wet from the tears that was flowing from my eyes.

“Why am I crying?” I couldn’t stop sniffing and crying, I tried to stop but I could just not stop crying.

Then all of a sudden a spider the size of a sofa went near me. I didn’t panic because I realized that this was the venenum that I tamed.

It was just looking at me, we were staring at each other face to face, when all of a sudden the spider jumped to me, and I think the spider was embracing me.

We stayed in that position for a solid five minutes, until I stopped crying.

“To think that I would cry over my parent’s death, I thought I got over it, but it looks like I was wrong” I was petting the spiders head.

“Thanks liana!”

*DING*

Pet venenum has been changed to LIANA

Liana screeched showing that she approves with the name.

The olive green spider transformed into a dark green colored key with detailed designs, the symbol was a hollow diamond with a line in the middle.

“Now what should I do next”

*grumble*

“I guess I should eat first then head out to find the dungeon, aqua! Argus! Charon!” I called out to my pets and they didn’t summon themselves, I waited and still, nothing, I decided to do it manually, I reached out for my keys in my pouch,

“Huh?” there were no keys, if there are no keys then that means that they are already summoned, and if they are already summoned then where are all of them, I panicked,

“Then that means?” they went out to find the other dungeon, rah! I know they want to be strong, but couldn’t they wait until I woke up, seriously such rash decisions.

I saw an umbrella that aqua probably left for me, I took my backpack, the umbrella and kept the key in my pouch, and decided to head out to find them, I was finally on the doorstep when all of a sudden.

*grumble*

“I should eat first…” I might die from starvation or faint again.

“FOOD!” I was finally outside the guild and I opened the door while pointing my obvious demands,

After waiting for viria finally came out with food.

“Oh! Aries your okay!” viria came out with two plates of food, one was a hamburger and the other was a salad that had dressing.

“I was going to eat this but you can have it, I didn’t hear you so I thought that it was somebody yelling crazy!” she placed down the plates on the table, and I went to sit at the bench.

“Thank you!” after saying my thanks to her I gobbled the food and was done within seconds.

“Thanks for the food!” I was finally heading out to where the dungeon were.

“Wait, the rain just started falling ice, so where you going to go?” viria looked worried, I think it’s because of the rain, wait, she did told about the ice, ugh I’m so dumb,

“I’m heading out to find the dungeon” I was going to leave but viria stopped me, by placing her hand on my shoulder,

“You don’t have a weapon, the least thing I can do is give you this for defense... i don't want you to die like the last summoner...” she made two kitchen knives and a meat hammer appear.

I took them and placed them in my bag, and with that I headed off. "I'm off!"
