‘And that’s what happened father’

Right now I’m healing a the baby [deer luminous] that Argus and aqua brought back, I knew the name of the creature because I saw the name above it.

‘You should have seen it master, the way me and aqua fought those hounds and.. Oh!! Oh!! also me and aqua finally-’ the male voice must have been Argus, it seemed like he was excited to tell me something in that last part, but was cut off by a young Child's voice, which I also assumed was aqua.

‘EVOLVED!!’ aqua said has she morphed back to being a big cube slime, both of them were being overly happy about their first time evolving, well.., can’t blame them, they used to be weak and now they had an upgrade, and they also can communicate with me telepathically, I guess the ‘Help’ was right after all.

I finally healed the baby, but assumed that he was starving instead because he saw that the baby still had the lower part shell indicating he must have been born recently.

I quickly got up and looked at both my pets.

“Okay guys before I look at your stats, I’m currently out of mana, and this baby is okay, he just collapsed because of starvation” I said pointing at the baby.

“And also you’re telling me you went to danger, without making a plan?, you could have been killed! I said have fun and level up, not fight enemies that may or may not be stronger than you,” I said has I was holding my head in a worried yet irritated face.

It seemed that both aqua and Argus was really sorry, because I saw both of them heads down, ugh I don’t really want to be a bad owner so I quickly said “but at least your both safe..”

Both of them looked up and were bouncing in a happy way.

“So.. How are we going to feed this baby? I don’t have any food and we haven’t found any fruits along the way when we were walking yesterday.” it has been a day and I myself didn't even feel hungry.

I was wondering about this when I woke up this morning. I mean... I didn't hear a rumble in my stomach and after a while it didn't hurt at all, so I’m assuming this body might not require me to eat food.

‘It’s okay master I got it! From the looks of it these species are from the reptilian species which indicate that-’ Argus was going to say something at the end but was stopped again by aqua.

‘That they are carnivores, meaning they only eat meat, even at a young age they don’t need milk has long it is meat they will immediately be refilled with stamina, but Argus how are you going to help?’

Argus looked like he was going to explode due to aqua always interrupting him, he was about to scream when he was taken aback by the sudden question aqua gave him, it seemed that Argus thought it was his time to shine so he quickly said,

‘Of course I’m going to help the baby!!, With This!!, ugh!! Ack!! Ah!! Ugrgh!!’

We were looking at Argus talking so prideful when all of a sudden he started making sounds that looked like he was going to vomit, he then started gagging then out came something red and meaty, in short what he just did was gross,

‘EW! Don’t tell me this meat you just gagged were the ones that you nibbled from the legs of those despihounds’ aqua said showing that she was clearly disgusted,

‘He! he! He! Yep! I’m so amazing right?! With this, the baby will wake up and be masters pet!!’ Argus said with again a prideful voice looking up, and who the heck said I wanted to make this baby my pet.

I was looking at the Argus with a somewhat disgusted face but not really.

Then I was looking at aqua and Argus arguing about him being disgusting and stupid.

Then to the pile of meat where in the pile something reddish with a hint of brown was eating the meat, I was about to touch it but was stopped midway when it bite my hand and scurried away in the back of Argus still oblivious from it.

“Argus, I think the baby is on your back” I said to Argus who was still arguing to aqua, when I told him about the baby he looked at his back, then looked at me and told to in an excited voice.

‘Oh its finally awake, did you tame it master?’ he said while putting his paw on top of aqua making her quiet,

“I tried too but he bite my hand went to you, it looks like it is really attached to you Argus,” I told, lifting my arm and pointing at the bite mark that the baby left on my hand, which healed.

‘Hmm. Okay master I will try and persuade him..’ Argus said now looking at the baby,

‘Hey why won’t you be his pet?’… .. … …

‘What no way, why’… … …..

‘Im not your father’.. …. … ….

‘Okay but you have to behave’.. ..

‘No’.. ..

‘Yes’… .

‘I won’t do that!’ ..

This happened for a while, I think for nearly an hour and a half,

While all of that was happening I was talking to aqua the whole time talking about stats to her, it seemed like she had a higher IQ than Argus so it felt nice taking to her,

From the looks of it all creatures have a part they are really good at,

Like aqua she has a higher INT which explains her IQ, and they way she talks?, she is more on the backside casting spells, kinda like a mage,

And argus which is more on agility based attacks, kinda like a theif, a hit and run tactic,

I noticed many things form the evolution's of argus and aqua which was

First, from their stats, they can’t distribute their stats like me, when they level up the stats are already distributed, that’s why they are good on their given field of expertise,

Second, was that in each evolution there are paths that they can pick, it depends on what they did to get that evolution, maybe a requirement?,

For aqua she lost the ability to control ice, but gained the ability to morph her body using a huge amount of water, so she basically chose the path of a water expert, I’ll look into that ability off hers later,

Has for Argus he became faster, but his ATX and INT didn't increased that much,

Third, was that I leveled up, but only till Lv.10, I’m guessing because that my pets were far away so I couldn’t gain the exp share, why they leveled up fast, and also why I didn't get the notification indicating me and my pets level up.

So far that was all I could noticed from all the changes, so I looked at my pets skills and level,

“Aqua and Argus, level and skills!!” I said with a sleepy voice, I’m tired, from all that happened it seems that my headache became worse.

SKILLS:

MORPH: Can change the body of the user using a huge amount of water,

When the user wants to change its body to something with power it will require mana to keep that form stable,

For example if it changes its body to a form with big muscles then the user will temporarily gain a boost in strength,

Known forms: Flight,

Inborn water bender: due to being born with the aqua crystal the slime has the ability to control water without the use of mana and use its sub abilities that are related to water.

Water control: can use water and control it in many ways

“Hmm it seems aqua lost its ability to heal and to control ice, ah! Ugh!! it means I lost the ability to use heal too” I said with a dejected voice, I guess I’ll just look at Argus stats, then mine to distribute my stats.

SKILLS:

DARK: can travel from shadow to shadow,

Mp: 3 per minute

DASH: can temporarily increase the speed to run, flee, or disappear, can be use in many different ways, can also use lightning to increase the speed,

Mp: 5

THUNDER: uses lightning in any way possible but can hurt the user if used to much,

Mp: 15

JACKALOPE TRAIT: the traits are, can find any source of water using it magically imbued horns, can blend in the darkness if not moving, can feel any magical creatures within a 50 meter radius, has night vision to see better in the dark

‘It seems Argus also gained a skill, hmm.. This is good since Argus just got an evolution and his mana increased, but not that much’

I closed both my pets’ windows and opened mine,

‘Okay now it’s time to distribute my stats, hmm… Okay that’s good ’

I distributed my stats, I have to say im glad with them,

Once I was done with my stats I quickly looked at my skills if anything has changed, hope not. I crossed my finger.

INFO: info is a skill that helps the user with basic info to help them with their daily ugh lives also helps to see more accurate names and levels, sometimes if the one being identified has more stats then the user, then the user might have a 0.01% chance to gain that stat. depends on luck.

BEFRIEND Lv. 2: befriend is similar to summon and tamer skills but combined, the downside is that to tame the creature it takes time and patience because to tame it you have to befriend it so there’s no hostility, once successfully tamed, the creature can turn to an item that you desire to not take up much space, can only turn into small items, the creature will go into a space specifically made for them, because of the huge space the time difference is huge.

TRUST: by trusting your pets that they will protect you, you have gained this skill to protect them, this skill allows you to use your pets power but only half of its power, the more you level up this skill the more you can unlock their power to use and make it become stronger,

I was blinking at my skill to find that I was still able to use them,

‘How?’ I mentally said, I was so happy that I could still use heal, I don’t care if it has a downside I was just happy that I could still use them, I was about to raise my arms up in joy when Argus and aqua called me, it seemed aqua went back to Argus when I was looking at my stats,

‘Father it seems this child does not understand what it means being with you,’ aqua said with a scoff,

‘Master it seems I have failed you, I’m sorry for not bringing this baby to our side, but it will accompany us due to not having anybody to take care of it!’ Argus said with a stern voice like he a butler while looking down, indicating that he is..,

..bowing? I was starting to think that Argus was starting to have a split personality,

I was wondering why aqua is calling me father and Argus calling me master but I guess it must be a pet and owner thing,

*sigh*

“It’s okay, I won’t force it to join my side” I sighed while saying, I never wanted that baby to be in my side any way’s…

“Anyways lets continue heading towards the direction where Argus pointed, there might be people near..., ..

oh! and Argus please clean up the pile of meat you gagged up..” I said pointing to the direction that Argus pointed, then to the pile of meat that was still on the soil, it seemed that the baby was full and ate enough,

‘Okay!!..’ Argus said with a happy voice and started eating the pile of meat without chewing it, it seemed to look like he was going to save it for later, ugh! I cringed at the sight, I'm starting to believe that he has split personalities due to having mental issues,

*slurp* ‘all done!!’ argus said and hopped towards us with the baby on it back,

“’.. .. Gross!..’” me and aqua said in unison,

“.. .. . A-Anyway lets go guys, it’s still morning and we still have a lot of time, let’s get a move on..”

I said has we moved towards our destination.

It seems that aqua is a smart child and Argus being a.. Umm.. Good pet? he he

At least we explored more of their personalities, :D

I decided to not show the stats of Argus and aqua (and also future pets) because it will always change has they level up, so I will only show their overall stats if anything changes like, if they gained a skill or title,
