Kale broke dozens of their ‘appointments’ It’s been over two months since he last came to ‘visit’ and Azreal didn’t mind in the slightest especially since he didn’t want to get tortured.
“Damn it! It still isn’t awake yet? Am starting to think that it’s toying with me! Fuck someone get me something to beat it with if I don’t beat it awake or to death today my name won’t be Lako!”
When Azreal heard this he was instantly stunned
‘Fuck what is wrong with this guy?! Does it really cost you that much to keep me alive?!’
Azreal couldn’t help but scream in his mind.
“Yes, Boss!”
Instantly a set of footsteps could be heard running off.
“You might have my brother fooled that you’re still unconscious but after I beat you today we’ll see!”
Peace really doesn’t last...
Two months of peace and now this.
The footsteps that ran off could be heard running back.
“Boss mayor is here to see you!”
Hearing who was hear Lako’s voice no longer contained anger but instead disgust.
“Tell him I’m busy”
“I tried but h-“
“you don’t look busy to me”
Mayors voice sounded enticing, no different from a common swindler.
“Tsk this isn’t your backyard. Don’t come strolling in as you please I can’t promise you’d be able to walk out just the same”
“Hehehe so this is it?”
Mayor ignored him even pushed him out of way and looked at nude Azreal with a scrutinizing gaze.
“Why is it still asleep?”
Pah! Pah! Pah!
Three heavy handed slap ran across Azreal’s face.
“What’s going on Lako?”
Other than the obvious surprises in his voice he sounded like a boss swindler speaking to a subordinate swindler.
“Hmph didn’t I tell you that I’ll handle it?”

“I should have known something was wrong when you were avoiding me, Baron is gracing your lowly arena with a visit because I managed to tell him about this thing and now it’s not even waking up? Do you think I’m the only one that he will kill if he thinks I lied to him?”
“Didn’t I just say I’ll handle it?
Lako annoyance was clear when he opened his mouth to speak.
‘I can tell this isn’t going to end well….’
Without any hesitation Azreal’s consciousness went inside his space ring, this was a plan he came up with to avoid the pain Kale would bring with him.
Hopefully, if he didn’t leave any of his consciousness in his body maybe he wouldn’t feel anything that happened to his body.
The space ring that they’d taken from him was Kyles own no one noticed the one that Maseru had given him because it blended with his skin.
To his surprise, his sword was in there he didn’t remember taking it up when he was in Gaza but then again he doesn’t remember much so maybe he did take it up.
Normal when he entered his only reason was the book so he didn’t walk around he just went directly to it.
Azreal remained in the space ring for over an hour before finally deciding to go back to his body.
‘Fuck!!’
The moment he entered his body pain assaulted him like he was being trampled, he didn’t even bother inspecting his body and he knew several bones were broken.
“You know if you continue to play dead he’ll eventually kill you”
Azreal was stunned into silence his heartbeat sped up like crazy he wasn’t even sure how to react or who it was because he didn’t recognize the voice.

“Well I guess you can’t wake up yet since I’ve already made it this way”
‘Made me this way?...’
A soothing sensation ran over the pained areas of his body and that’s when he realized who it was.
Rabbit man.
“From the moment Lako and Mako brought you back for me to check up on I could tell that you would wake up in a few days but after taking a second look at you I felt pity….just look how tiny you are…...I knew they’d use you as entertainment so added few paralytic herbs in my ointments and….I thought I was saving you but by now you can probably feel pain so instead of helping I’ve only made it worst”
Azreal wasn’t even sure how to react to rabbit man’s words, not being able to suppress his curiosity he opened his eyes to see who rabbit man was but he didn't see anyone.
“Sigh I hope I’m making the right choice”
A small pinch came from his feet but he wasn’t able to see what it was because of the position he was in.
Both hands were chained up to the ceiling while his legs were spread apart by another set of chains on the ground and his body inclined forward a little.
Almost instantaneously he regains the ability to move his body oddly he didn’t feel any pain from the broken bones they were completely healed.
‘Finally!’
Just when he was enjoying the feeling of regaining control of his body, the sounds of heavy footsteps approaching ruined his happiness.
‘Kale…..’
As if answering his call kale frantically burst through the door and quickly closed the door behind him.
By this time Azreal had already taken on his original unconscious pose.
“Oh pretty your still here…..I’m sorry for leaving you for so long I promise I’ll make it up to you!”
Azreal was about to enter the space ring again but something happened that completely stunned him.
When kale was walking behind him he kept touching his body, caressing would be a better word, it's like how one would touch their lover.
‘He wouldn’t dare!’
Unfortunately, he was underestimating Kale, in a swift motion, he heard pants drop and felt a giant hand on his waist…...it made him feel so tiny.
“Fucking bastard!”
No longer able to pretend to be unconscious his eyes flew open gripping onto the chains that held him up he ripped them out of the ceiling
Twisting around Azreal eyes were completely clouded by anger he didn’t even try to hold back.
Boom!
His fist went unhindered, right through Kale’s chest.
Instantly the entire room became clouded in a red mist was everywhere.
Performing the same action before he fell to the ground he ripped the chains off his legs, still raging he turned back to look at Kale, what he saw stunned him.
A giant pig!
A literal giant pig.
“What the fuck!”

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
