Rhyno stood on top of the building until he regained his breath.
“Are you feeling better now?”
Glen mocked.
Rhyno jumped off the building in the same zigzag form but unlike last time Glen didn't attack he just watched Rhyno come in close.
When he finally got in close Rhyno punched out but Glen used his elbow to block the punch, in one quick motion Rhyno dropped to the ground and used his foot to kick at Glenn but once again he failed.
Glen ducked the kick then grabbed onto Rhynos foot and pulled himself up into the air and kicked Rhyno back.
“Heheh is that all?”
Rhyno summoned another clone to throw him on top of a building, from there he scanned the battlefield.
…………
“Crescent moon slaughtering”
Shawn swings out his sword, a blade of light followed the path the slashing out at Elk who casually raised his sword to block it.
The moment Elk blocked the blade of light he caught a glimpse of another light approaching, titled his head to the side he managed to avoid the sword but it still managed to cut him.
“I never expected you to use such underhanded tactics….”
Shawn laughed out loud, even his laughter sounded like the type a hero would possess.
“If I don’t die here today then I suppose we can have a proper rematch if it’s meant to be…..”
Elk smiled and shook his head.
“I don’t think it will, so show all you have right now”
Lightly stomping his feet everything around them for miles turned into a field of swords.
Shawn dashed over to Elk while swinging his sword down, without much effort it was blocked but Shawn didn’t stop there he used his free hand to pick a sword, stepping to the side he aimed it for Elks ribs with easy he dodged but didn’t continue to attack instead he put some distance between himself and Shawn.

“What are you trying to do?”
If nothing stuck out to his at this point he’d be a complete idiot.
“Whenever we exchange a few blows you would either retreat or force me to retreat then start up a conversation…..what exactly are trying to stall for?”
Screeeee!!!
Unlike the Phoenix cries they’d been hearing before this one was filled with pain and anger, shortly after the cry the silhouette of a giant Phoenix formed in the sky.
“Shawn sword!”
Seeming to have figure something out Elk rushed to over to stop Shawn but he was forced into retreating when Shawn started throwing hundreds of swords after him.
In the midst of all this Shawn pick of a sword that Elk recognized all too well, in that moment he seems to have figured something out but parts of the puzzle were still missing.
…………….
Rhyno jumped off the of build this time not landing too far off from Glen unlike before where he attacked right away this time he used his clones to surround him.
“Oh can’t win on your own so wanna add more numbers to your side?”
Rhyno flashed a bland smile.
“Something like that….”
Surrounded by six clones Glen’s expression didn’t change but when each of them took out a metal club filled with spikes he lost his smile.
Rhyno moved like the wind when approaching Glen this time, what he was doing before could be considered crawling and now he began to run.
The first club made contact with him before he could react knocking him face down, another club followed shortly afterward they all started to move in beating him savagely without giving his healing powers a chance to kick in, with every hit the one that followed more force was applied to it.
Screeeee!!!!

Glen was truly enraged now he shot up into the sky surrounded by fire that fired the body of a Phoenix as time passed the body began to look more and more realistic.
“Finally”
Rhyno started creating clone at an incredible pace, the close kept jumping on top of each other shoulders forming a ladder into the sky while his original body ran along their backs to go higher.
“A young half-breed Phoenix who hasn't even unlocked his inherited memory wants to go to war, ridiculous”
Hundreds of meters in the air he could see everyone battlers but he was only looking for one.
“Shawn Sword!”
Shawn didn’t hesitate while keeping Elk back he threw a sword to Rhyno who was thousands of meters away.
The sword wasn’t aimed for Rhyno’s original body but instead, it lodged in self in the ribs of the clone at the very top of the human ladder
Pulling the sword out of his clone Rhyno jumped on the top on of Glens Phoenix form and rammed the sword into his back.
Screeeeeee!!
A pain filled Phoenix Cry could be heard running across the city.
“You wanna know the problem with half-breeds like you? It’s that after so many billions of years of not being able to purify your bloodlines with an actual Phoenix, you barely possess one-one hundredth of a Phoenix's power yet you still have it's arrogance.......all the weakness and none of the power to cover it up”
With sword as the center red vein started running off over its body followed by some red chains from the sword in it back.
With its body being restricted it subsequently fell from the sky, jumping off his back Rhyno walked in front of him stand right before his giant mouth
‘What do you want?’
Once he took on his current form he lost his ability to speak so he could only choose telepathy.
“Origin blood, and don’t bother to tell me you can’t or anything else I’m not in a very talkative mood, if you don’t hand it over then you’re dead simple if you do I let you go, I only want your origin blood so?”
Every ten million years a Phoenix would condense a single drop of origin blood, to a pure Phoenix it served very little to no purpose but to a half-breed, it was a ray of hope.
One of the few ways a half-breed can purify its bloodline is by saving every drop of origin blood until It completely erases the blood like that their mixed with but it was easier said than done whenever tell million years the amount of origin blood produce is only about the size of a fingernail.
Glen hesitated for a good while before his left eye started bleeding, Rhyno pulled out a small bottle out of his space ring, there was enough blood to half the bottle.
The blood was bright pure red, so bright that it could be used as a source of light.
‘Release me now’
Rhyno froze then looked at Glen as if he was the biggest idiot in the world, he didn’t even bother saying anything he just jumped back on top of him.
Walking over to the sword that wasn’t completely pushed down inside of Glen, Rhyno stomped down on it in one swift motion killing Glen instantly.
Not wasting any time he stored the entire bottle in his space ring and took out a whistle.
Wheeeeeewww!!

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.
