Now, before all of my readers will kill. I posted this unfinished chapter to remind you guys that I'm not dead. I am just very busy with work and real shenanigans that I can't write atm.
However, I assure you that I will be back!
This is an incomplete chapter, read at your own risk!
Chapter 31: Invitation to the Darkness
Zarc’s Quiet Pub, that’s the name of this place. A place where the townsfolk eat and drink after a hard day of work. It’s also a good place to gather information since most of the locals loved to brag when they’re drunk.
Gordon and I occupied a table on the far end, where we can see an overview of things happening around the bar. While I’m eating my food, Gordon keeps calling out to his daughter, Celica, to order more beer—that was his excuse.
“She’s not gonna come if you keep pestering her.”
“Tseh, my daughter’s so cute I’m willing to forgive you.”
Gordon was giving me a look as if he wanted to kill me, but immediately reverts back to his joyful face when her daughter turns around to check.
“You know, this was your wife’s idea. I originally only planned for Meles to work by herself, but then, Cecillia came in and suggested they all work together instead.”
I chugged my glass of milk and looked past Gordon.
Remi was bending down to wipe the tables, revealing a sight of her pantie for me to enjoy. Thank the lord there wasn’t anybody beside me who could see.
Other than that, the crowd’s dying down. Guests are leaving one by one.
I guess when it comes to it, time does matter for the most part. No matter how cute the employee is, nobody would stay late just to ogle—except for me.

After I thought of that, the door opened and Roxis rushed to greet the guests that entered. He was a young looking man, with sharp slitted eyes and a sword hanging on his waist.
For some reason, Roxis then guides him to our table.
Because I thought it would be quite rude to ignore him, I stood up to greet them, still confused myself.
“Good evening.”
As predictable as that sounds, those two words were all I could think of. Roxis smiling from ear to ear isn’t really helping my case either.
“Kansouke, allow me to introduce my partner, Larc Arstein.”
The silent man beside him bowed his head. His expression and actions gave me the impression that he was somehow uptight?
and for my readers who has stuck with me through thick and thin and willing to go through that side of hell with me~
