Well, its here~

Chapter 10: Von Voyage?
“So, how did it go?”
“Hard to say, we need to go visit the blacksmith for further details.”
Remi squinted her eyes and looks at me suspiciously.
“What type of quest did you accept?”
“Fairy’s Tear.”
“Fairy's Tear?! Isn't that a job too high for you? What were you thinking?”
She jerked her voice up the moment she heard my reply. From her reaction alone, this must be quite the notorious quest.
I can’t exactly tell her it was because of the word Fairy that got me excited on this job. But judging from her disgusted gaze, Remi had already predicted as much.
From what I know, Fairies are quite similar to elves in nature. Sharp ears and mystic beauties, although Fairies are classified to be more mischievous.
These mischievous forest dwellers are heavily known for playing pranks on humans; causing illusion, losing a traveler’s balance and direction in the forest, and so much more.
Both Elves and Fairies fall under the Demi-Human race.
I started wondering why this blacksmith needed this item for. Was it perhaps an ingredient to forge a weapon imbued with magic?
Well, the only reason to find out is to visit the blacksmith himself.
“First, let’s see what Mr. Blacksmith has to say?”
“Umu, I’d like to see what type of weapons he has in store.”
“You two don't even have any money, right?!”
Meles and I started walking ahead, excitement had already filled our brains.
Left with no other choice, Remi obediently followed us.
Skimping about, Meles led the way while this big boobed woman locked arms with me, as if we were taking our child out for a walk.
“Remi, I forgot to say… we haven't eaten anything yet…”
Because of what happened at the bar, I lost my pouch and all of my money that comes along with it. Ever since then, I was left penniless.
The two sisters did told me to come back, and while I’d like to do such a thing, I have more pressing matters to attend. Perhaps when I’m done with this, I’ll visit those two once again.
“And you want me to buy you food, is that it?”
“You’re interpreting me wrong, what I want to say is more on the lines of borrow.”
“Yeah yeah~ Whatever you say.”
If she would ever marry someone, Remi would be quite the considerate wife. Not to mention, those boobs.
Muehehehe~
So the three of us trod towards the marketplace, passing through the bustling populace.
On one corner is a vendor selling fruits, on the other is a merchant selling various instruments and so forth. Every spot my eyes laid on, there’s a type of business going on. The marketplace is basically the perfect place to lose and make money at the same time.
“Kansouke…”
Meles pulled my sleeve, her other hand was pointing to a certain food stall.

“Remi, I think we’ve decided where we want to eat.”
Hearing such a shameless request, Remi passed a hand over her forehead and spat out the words she wanted she say.
“I can't believe you two…”
“Yay, free food! Meles, don’t hold back! Eat three days worth of food for I don't know when we can eat again!”
“Understood.”
It was too late to stop the two of us, so we immediately took a seat in front of the stall. I’m not sure what type of noodles it is myself, but the scent of those stir fried vegetables combined with that sauce makes it really appetizing.
“Old man, what are you cooking?”
“Old man? I’m only twenty seven. How can I be old?”
His swept back black hair and sharply slitted eyes gave that impression of a scary bro. But him behind the kitchen and his apron with a bubbly design, I kinda want to laugh instead.
“Nevermind that old man, just give us three servings please~”
“Cocky bastard…”
Even with his badmouth, the food he served to us was very grandiose looking. It makes me drool just by staring at my smoking plate.
Without wasting any more time, we started eating!
“Om nom nom…”
“Nom nom…”
“Guys…”
Meles and I are relishing our hearts out, not giving a care as to what others would say in regards to our eating habits, while Remi is nitpicking her food.
The sauce is sweet and savory while the meat was fried just enough to be chewy. Although I think the main selling point of this food were the mixed vegetables. It balances that sweetness of the sauce and saltiness of the meat, creating a harmony of beautiful melodies.
Don’t blame me for being poetic, I haven’t eaten anything this good for a while.
“Old man, two more plates of this yakisoba!”
We kept eating and eating until we left a huge pile of plates behind the counter. My bulging stomach is proof of how satisfied I am. I just hope Remi has enough money to pay for all of these.
“Kansouke… I think…”
Remi called out to me. Her voice was so low that I could barely hear her, but I understood what she meant.
“I forgot my wallet…”
“What?!”
On the other side of the counter, a mysterious intimidating feeling was rising. I turned my head and look.
“Ahahaha… It seems like we don’t have enough money, mister…”
“So I’m mister now instead of old man, eh?”
*Crack!*
He was cracking his knuckles in front of me.
This cold feeling running through my entire skin. This is killing intent. Forget about finding my beloved, today is the day I DIE!
Just when absolute despair has shrouded my stomach, a comfortable light appeared and saved us in the form of a voice.
“Do not worry kind sir, I shall pay the fees for this troublesome commoner.”
There appeared, was the pervert. Reaching to his pocket and pulling out a girlish pouch, he handed the money towards the old man in a very dignified manner. His chest sticking out proudly and a triumphing smile etched on his face.

“Well, you three are good to go then.”
And in the face of money, mister acted as if nothing happened. Seems like were saved at least.
“Hoho, hohoho, no need to thank me.”
Unexpectedly, I think I heard something annoying. But I did not bother to pay attention. Both of the girls were bewildered and it’s exactly because they made those faces that I want to go. I do want them to think that I have some sort of connection with this cross dressing pervert.
“Okay, lets go you two, before this person’s perverseness sticks to us.”
“Are you sure?”
“She seems like she knows Kansouke.”
I urged them both to go as I raised myself from my chair and walked away.
His timing couldn’t be any better. He must be trailing us all along, waiting for the perfect opportunity to present himself.
“Heey, *sob* I’m not done yet!”
Behind us, the loud sobbing of that pervert could be heard.
From head to toe, my body is shivering immensely. All because of that maniac.
Is there any place left for me to be calm?
After that comical event, we continued towards the south gate. The shop was quite easy to find, not because its popular, but the signboard was rather easy to spot.
In front of the sword engraved signboard, my benevolent wisdom immediately regarded this is as the blacksmith shop.
“This must be it.”
“I believe so… The place does give that vibe.”
As we made our way inside, a very messy place that reeks of sweat greeted us on the front door. Different kinds of weapon are hanging on the wall and what seemed to be farming tools.
Kind of a nostalgic place for a guy like me.
“Hoo, it’s exactly how I imagined it to be.”
Meles followed me towards the sword section and Remi stood behind quietly, looking at the spot where it needs a feminine touch.
“Hmm… this particular sword will be perfect for me. What do you think Meles?”
“I suggest you pick this one.”
As I was looking through a series of longswords, Meles handed me one of the most plain looking swords in the shop. The sword is short but has a wide blade. It looks extremely sharp and the form appeared to be very easy to handle.
Perfect for a beginner like myself.
After taking it from her hands, I deliberately took a stance. As expected, the sword is quite heavy.
“I don’t think that's a good idea now…”
“Its alright… I just want to have a quick look.”
“You’re a penniless guy, remember?”
Remi pulled my sleeve with a nervous expression, reminding me to stop before I break anything, but her words didn't reach me. I was already fascinated by the fine pieces of craftsmanship in front of me. Handling a real sword like this makes my heart thump in excitement.
“What do you think lad?”
“I think its magnificent sir.”
I answered the deep voice that interjected from within without giving it much thought. The words that were on my mind came out unconsciously.
“Hahaha! Been a while since I’ve seen someone as honest as you. Most of the young ones these days only care about the looks!”
A man with a well forged body and copper like skin greeted us. You can see the wrinkles on his face depicting his old age while he exudes an aura of wisdom. Without a doubt, this old man is the one responsible for crafting these weapons inside this shop.
“The names Gordon, the best(self proclaimed) blacksmith in town. Want to buy a weapon of some sort?”
“Nothing in particular sir, the three of us are here because of the request you posted in the guild.”
“Ohh, that. Can you handle the work kid?”
Gordon arched his brows to take a good look at me, then his eyes moved towards the girls. He let out a short sigh as if he understood something by himself.
“Don’t underestimate me, old man. And if you’re worried about these two, don’t bother.”
Before he could say anything else, I cut him off and went straight to the point.
“Then once you’re ready, follow me inside. Just you by the way. You can tell the ladies to come back once the day is over.”
After leaving me with such words, he turned around and walked towards the place where he appeared from.
“So, we'll be back to come see you once the day is over?”
“No need. Just enjoy your free time. And if you could, can you show Meles around town? If you come across any trouble, you know where to find me.”
Remi nodded at my words. Before coming here, we've already came into the possibility that I would be working by myself. It did say that the blacksmith was only looking for an able bodied young man. And who would allow these two lovely maidens to work in this sweat stinking place?
Not me~ That’s for sure.
After reaching a conclusion, I went ahead and proposed that the two of them do something together by themselves. Normally, I would be frantic or anxious about it, and leaving Meles alone would no doubt anger the authorities, but instead of wasting all their time with me, I’m sure they could find something amusing to do on their own volition.
Geez... I’m like a father worried about my kids leaving my nest.
“Okay…”
“Umu.”
I kissed their foreheads and followed Gordon deeper inside. Maybe I’ve gotten carried away, but I want these girls not to rely on my presence too much.
Although everything was my fault to begin with, me taking their purity and all, these two have become dangerously smitten with me. I’m happy, but at the same time, I want them to be able to decide something for themselves. To have their own opinions and not just blindly agree to my suggestions all the time.
Well, that’s that.
I wonder what this old man wants?

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

The Edgars
A serial killer is wreaking havoc in a small European village, and Charles Edgar believes his estranged brother to be the culprit. But little does he know that a much darker truth lies behind the bloodshed; one that will bring betrayal and destruction to the entire Edgar lineage. (This is a one-act play. A (beat) indicates a pause in the dialogue.) Also, please feel free to rip this story apart in the reviews (if you're so inclined). I really want to improve as a writer, so any criticisms are more than welcomed.
