After winning one battle after the other the leader of the rebellion Markus became a political tool for the nobles because they knew that if they could use his army for their purpose the council will knell down in front of them so, they sent him a letter to meet Markus in person. Markus takes Beta, Delta, Jacob, Selene and Donovan along with him for his protection because he knows that these people could easily fight a hundred men if they need to. Then after a month of travel, they arrive at Piedmont where the nobles live who contacted Markus. There were seven nobles with different titles such as Lord, count, Baron and even viscount who are willing to lend their support in the rebellion but on one condition. Then Donovan asked

Donovan:(surprised) What Condition?

Viscount Bertram: We will give the rebellion six seats in the council and support you in your battle against the Istrila Empire but in return, we will not withdraw the property seizing law.

Selene:(with an irritated voice) All these Nobles are money-grabbing, greedy bastards who never work for the good of people.

Viscount Bertram:(with a rude voice) That's why you commoners never climb the ranks like us because you never take advantage of other people.

After listening to Viscount, Beta took out his sword and rushed forward at the noble but was stopped by Markus. Everyone was shocked because they saw Markus oppose Beta’s decision. Then suddenly they all hear the footsteps of many men moving. Beta was confused because of the situation so, he pointed his sword at the door. Then they see soldiers of the alliance coming through the door and after a while, the whole room was filled with soldiers. Then Markus shouted

Markus:(while shouting) LOWER YOUR WEAPONS AND THAT'S AN ORDER!

Jacob:(shocked) Sir, They are pointing their guns at us how can we lower our weapons.

Markus:(with a nervous voice) These soldiers are here with the noble they will not harm you. They came inside because Beta pointed his sword at Viscount.

After hearing Markus all of them put their weapons down and then suddenly one of the soldiers shot Beta in his leg. Everyone was shocked after seeing what happened and at that moment when Beta tried to pick up his sword his hand was shot by Markus. Markus who was once the greatest Revolutionary leader had already flipped over to the alliance after taking a large amount of money. He took all five of them here because he knows that even if one of them got left behind with the rest of the army, they will spoil his plan. The other four surrender after seeing the condition of Beta. All the rebel soldiers were taken prisoner and were forced to work as a slave for the government. Beta was imprisoned in a ten-layer thick cell especially made for him in which even light could not enter. Beta didn’t regain consciousness a whole month after the incident but when he woke up, he didn’t even speak a word no matter how much torture he went through. After a year of imprisonment, Beta went berserk and killed all the guards in the whole prison and freed Delta, Donovan, Jacob, Selene, Ron, Kenny, Frey, Martha, Emma, Bruce, Marie, Miguel, and Eric who were locked in the same prison-like him. They all went straight for the capital and enter the council and massacred all the nobles but in the middle of the chaos, Markus slipped from behind the council building and went to the royal palace. While all of them are killing nobles at the council Beta went straight for the royal palace of Istrila where the King's family lived. The soldiers saw Beta alone fighting all the soldiers in the citadel they ran away. When Beta entered the palace's grand hall he saw Markus standing there. Markus was so terrified of Beta that he fell to the floor the instant he saw him and started to beg him

Markus:(terrified) Please Don't kill me Beta I have my reason for switching the sides. Do you think the person who led the rebellion for such a long time could turn out to be a traitor? Remember the time we raided Lord Arthur's estate and fight for the city of Vlatburg. Please spare my life.

Beta:(while looking at Makus with death glare) You know there was once a time that I see you as a charismatic person with great leadership skills. You know that you are not as strong as us in battles but you did the part which you are best at. Without you, we might have not survived but in the end, the people who cherished you got betrayed by you so, in my opinion, you don't deserve to die you deserve to rot in hell, you ugly bastard.

After that Beta didn't hear a word Markus said and he throw him in the furnace and left him to burn alive. After that Beta met the royal family which were fleeing from the castle.

Beta:(still with death glare) So, you are the one who started all of this mess. Do you even realise how many people have been killed now? Countless people died or got murdered just because of your greediness.

Lynn Wilkinson(The king of Istrila Empire and the Marshal of Alliance's army): Listen you have a wrong idea about my decisions. I did all that to save people from the Lizardmen. I am an honest hardworking king who works for the country day and night. It's good for those people because at least they get to get killed by humans, not like someone from the other realm. You could kill me if you want no will is going to stop you.

Beta:(shocked) You aren't even scared in the least.

Lynn:(calm as a saint) Yes, you are indeed correct. Nothing can make me change my thinking now.

Beta:(with a grin on his face) I am up for the challenge.

Then Beta rushed toward them and decapitate his wife and son's heads.

Lynn:(while screaming) WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DRIVE MY FAMILY INTO THIS. THEY DID NOTHING WRONG LIKE ME!

Beta:(still have a grin on his face) That's why they died because all we people have ever done is kill the innocent for our good.

Lynn then picks up a sword and charged at Beta while saying

Lynn:(while screaming) I WILL MAKE YOU PAY.

Then in the next moment Beta chopped him into pieces. The five hundred Wilkinson clan rule of Istrila came to an end. That day, Beta killed every soldier, woman, child and elderly he found out that in the palace no one was shown mercy. Then the next day with the help of Marie’s friends present in the capital, they helped them prevent the chaos and let them make Beta the acting president of the Trition human realm. After hearing this story Alpha hugs Beta and says

Alpha:(while sobbing) I have done many horrible things in my life. I am not like you because in the end you fight and protect the people. There's no way my story is relatable to yours.

Beta:(with a warm smile on his face) I had also killed countless people who are fighting for the alliance just to get some money or resources so, I could feed the families of my comrades. I always end up taking revenge for those who have died for me. I killed people who also have lives, family, dreams etc. You know my fighting ability feels more like a curse.

After that Beta started crying, then Alpha say

Alpha: I promise you that I will assist you no matter what happens in the future so, you can always count on my support.

After that conversation Alpha fell asleep because of hearing Beta’s long story.
