Chapter 37 – thank you!

[Me]: I am sorry but it’s time to meditate.

[Armand]: So the rumors of a talking familiar was true.

[Luna]: He is human!

[Armand]: A familiar is a familiar! You should have total control over them!

[Me]: Is this how you treat the Duchess? By commanding her?

[Armand]: I am…

[Me]: You are ruling instead of Luna until she is ready to take over. It does not make you duke of this territory.

[Luna]: We will be away for few hours. By the time, I come back I was all the laws that has been passed during my absence to be present in my room. I want all our subjects to be present in a week’s time in my presence to be addressed in matters of dukedom.

[Armand]: Yes, my lady!

[Luna]: Aslan! Gorn! We should go now!

A male and female servant followed us until we reached an arbor. To my surprise, it had a simple design. It had lattice panels which was ideal for climbing plants. Grape leaves had covered most of its outer side. She wanted to sit on wooden bench inside the arbor but I neglected the idea and told her to sit on ground with me. Servants were shocked. I telepathically contacted Ulfberht and asked him to turn into sword. Light appeared on my right hands pinky finger and massive sword materialized.

[Luna]: It’s the sword that you had when you were summoned!

[Aslan]: His name is Ulfberht.

[Luna]: Wow, it has a name?

[Aslan]: Not it, but HE!

[Luna]: You mean he is alive?

[Aslan]: Yes! Now Luna, what I want you is to order Gorn to protect us while we will be meditating.

[Luna]: Gorn protect us during meditation!

I showed her lotus position. She had problems but was able to comfortable sit in a matter of minutes. I put Ulfberht hilt so that it touched her legs. I positioned myself too.

[Me]: Now close your eyes! Slowly breathe in through you nose and breathe out through your mouth. Repeat it three more times. As you breathe in and breathe, feel your body relaxing to the point where you sense no more your body or anything of this world. You are surrounded by darkness. Now do not be afraid, as you will see a tall blonde man. Do not be afraid of him and let him show you the way…

I saw her deep in meditation so I closed my eyes and meditated myself.

I am standing on the shore and waves are hitting it smoothly. It is so peaceful. Ulfberht appeared and Luna was holding his hand.

[Me]: You made it on first try. Good on you, Luna!

[Luna]: Where are we?

[Me]: Inside me. Ulfberht are you going to stay?

[Ulfberht]: I will pass, I’m not on good terms with the wolfie.

[Me]: Hahaa

[Luna]: A wolf? You mean a monster?

[Me]: Calm down and follow me.

Ulfberht disappeared. Luna was guided by me to top of the hill where my throne was. I sat on it.

[Luna]: So beautiful.

The wolf and the other presence appeared though wolf was the only one in a materialized form. It was sitting on my left in a sleeping position. It opened its eyes.

[Wolf]: I though we agreed on, no more guests policy.

[Luna]: It talks!

[Me]: I want to share some of my powers with her, I think she deserves it. I wanted your approval so I brought her.

[Wolf]: I won’t allow my powers to be shared.

Silence fell…

[-]: a bit is okay, I think.

[Me]: Thank you!

[Luna]: What’s happening?

[Me]: We should go, Luna.

We went back all the way to the shore.

[Me]: Luna, I think you are a naïve girl with lack of power but a lot of big ambitions. Back in my world, when I was fighting Gorn, he did some kind of magic spell and we were transferred to the void that you talk of and most probably you could summon us because we didn’t belong to the space and time. What I want to say is that you are lucky. You are lucky to summon me, you are lucky to meet me. I will help you out now too. But do not forget what you have promised to me.

[Luna]: Stop that!

[Me]: I am just stating the facts. Now drink the water.

She kneeled down, used her right hand to get handful of the water and drank it. She disappeared and I opened my eyes.

She was smiling. She kissed me on right cheek.

[Luna]: thank you!
