《Gratuitous Item Crafting and Descriptions (and shoddy economics)》Monocle of Spirit Sight and Uncontrollable Shape-Shifting

Jimmy woke up to the sound of his 'dad' tromping around grumpily, with a very bloated stomach and a sense of shame. Not wanting to think about these things, he hurried off and picked something random to craft. A circle of glass made from sand he'd found lying around outside, and a circle of iron with an indentation to hold the glass.
Shrugging, he got to the smithing of sorts. Plink plink Kazink. The frame was quite easy, so he flaired it up a bit making it all wavy and threw in some shavings of other metals to make it a little bit of a kaleidoscope. The sand took a while to melt and clear up but eventually he could pour it into a very shallow slightly curved steel saucer bowl he'd made earlier. The trick was making sure it evenly poured and didn't cool down in an unsightly manner. The next was using a sand-paper to grind it into the right size and shape for the frame, and then finagle it into secure position so it didn't clink around.
Jimmy smiled at the monocle, but noticed it would be very easy to lose and was annoying to hold to his eye, so he carefully made a fine chain to attach to it, so it could hang around like a necklace when not in use. He carefully cooled everything down and polished everything to shininess before taking a little walk around the property, wielding the Monocle and peering around. It took him but a few seconds to get a minor fright of his life!
He saw a ghost! a buxom figure of a translucent green was dancing around one of the bigger trees in the backyard. There was a shiny connection to it coming from her heart. A Draiad!
"Oh my gods! hello lady!" the Draiad was shocked! and looked at Jimmy like he had grown a second head! Which, now that he noticed, he had! and an extra arm and he was growing wings! in his shock he dropped the monocle from his eyes and it fell until arrested by the chain. Slowly Jimmy noticed his extra body parts and wings recede back into his body and after a few minutes he was pretty sure he was normal. A full body check in a mirror made impromptu from a brass plate let him breathe a sigh of relief.

"Phew, not gonna wear that again, another sale."
A matter of days later, the Monocle of Spirit Sight and Uncontrollable Shape-Shifting was sold off to an aspiring Journeyman of the Firey Flames Order, who found the Spirit Sight to be incredibly helpful and rewarding. Upon some experimentation, the Shape-shifting was mostly calculated to be safe if the Monocle was used for a few seconds, but the results could be very unpredictable and there were some close calls when the lungs changed to venom sacks that one time.
Eventually, it was discovered that the extra limbs being removed would not be harmful for the user upon removal of the MSSUSS, and the Journeyman managed to make a lot of money off weird reagents. Alas even more eventually, in a fight over a recently removed giant dragon wing with other Order members, the now Magister died in it, and at the MSSUSS was lost, until a bird somehow put it on and became a mighty terror of the ocean. A giant ever-changing chaotic beast that would harrass the maritime nations for decades until at last it shifted into an Aboleth and left this plane forever. No one knows what happened to it after that.

I hope you all enjoyed the novel and the adventure it took you on. I have a second one in the works, but progress has been slow on that front considering all that is going on in the world today and the nature of my work. I'll be posting chapters from that one in the coming months (with any luck). If you enjoyed this novel please leave a review as I'm always eager to read a critique of my work to improve my writing. - Best regards in these trying times, M.I. O'Flaherty

(It's a slowburn. Contains 18+ scenes. There will be also smut later...) Vladimir D. Svoboda. A hailed, but troubled genius from the planet Earth. The first person who made teleportation reality. The Rotshields, a mysterious family that ruled from the shadows, couldn't leave it just like that and wanted it for themselves. Needless to say, the operation went terribly wrong. After that our hero, Vlad, finds himself in an extremely hostile metallic city, Koul'E. The capital of orcs, devilish wizards (quite literally) and enslaved goblins. Decadency, greed and brutality rules in their society; even gods steer clear from them. Odds stacked against him, cancer slowly eating him from the inside, he will raze his way through the impossible situation and beings that vastly outclass him. However, he is not completely without friends and alone. An unlikely being decides to help him even though they went through a rocky start. They form a bond that will shake the whole city, and maybe the world. Magic, technology and all the other esoteric powers are just a stretch of an arm away. Editor, cover creator and overall great person: BlancChapters around 2.2K words long.

Have you ever wondered what the blind actually see? For Damon, he can't even answer that question. He's been totally blind since birth. He has no concept of light or dark, no colours from which to reference. How is he meant to describe something when he has no visual context to work from. To him it's simply an abyss, or at least he thinks it is.. He doesn't actually know what an abyss looks like. But from the sounds of it, that's as close as he's gonna get to actually knowing what he sees. That is, until he enter's King's Wrath. Welcome one and all to Damon's story as he gains his sight after entering a game in which he must work hard to stay alive and fight to keep the one thing that will let him see what all other's take for granted. I am a first time writer and if you have any tips or if you spot any mistakes please let me know, as I will endeavour to make this story as shiny and polished as possible. Happy Reading!
8 84Skeleton Sovereign?
A lawyer, along with ten thousand other people, is kidnapped by the Heavenly Demon of Decay to participate in a campaign against the Monarch of Everglades. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, has chosen these ten thousand people to be the captains of his 100 man squads, saying that beings of lower realms are easier to boost temporarily. Our lawyer didn’t complain much at that. A generic hero summoned to another world setting, he thought. And as he didn’t have any family or much attachment to his previous world, he even liked his situation. But that was until he found out, that the “Heavenly Demon of Decay” was a necromancer. And that he along with millions of other humans, and various beings, were processed into undead soldiers. ‘Well fuck!’, he thought. And after being equipped with high quality equipment, and being robbed of his free will, he marched, along with billions of other horrifying undead, against the Monarch of the Everglades. But his poor luck didn’t end there. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, and his army lost. But the worst part was, they left him behind while retreating. Now, he is stuck behind in a huge jungle, full of various monsters, where every moment he must struggle for his life. But isn’t he already dead? This thought only serves to incense him further. But that is not all to his story, he finds that he is in a different, more powerful world, where wizards, warriors, dragons, dungeons but most importantly “CULTIVATION” exists. Albeit not very Chinese, but cultivation nonetheless. But, can a skeleton even cultivate? Not a native english speaker. So don't expect impeccable grammar. Although I do try my best, this is also my first novel so pointers are appreciated. Haters, just stop reading if you don't like it. Please don't spoil my mood by evil comments.

8 129Smiling master
Aki always knew death would be his get away ticket for something, but he was mostly expecting an endless struggle against demonic captors in hell, but he can certainly do with netting a job as a dungeon master in another world. He'd likely have tried saving random people long before 'that' if he actually thought it was even a possibility too!
