《My Cerberus Girlfriend》Book Three: Chapter 4

The winged horse took off like a jet gliding off the ground. Roger held on without squeezing the three-headed beast woman too hard.
"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeh!" Cilla shouted, raising her arms up in the wind.
"Put our arms down!" Labda shouted. "We can't risk falling off!"
"Oh!" Cilla wrapped her arms back around Pegasus's thick neck. Her cheeks blushed in embarrassment.
Katina clicked her tongue. "Dumbie."
Roger slowly glanced down. The ocean expanded far below the steaming white clouds.
Heights weren't his thing, and he rested his face against the women's board back. If the helmet wasn't on, he would enjoy feeling their body warmth in the cold wind. They were like a giant furry pillow that he could cuddle on in peace.
Later, a small green island appeared on the blue sea. Flat with one mountain in the center, which could be a dead volcano.
Labda gazed down. "I think we are almost there. Pegasus is flying down toward that island."
Cilla smiled. "I hope it is tropical. We could relax, drink fruit juice, and lay with-"
"We don't have time for that! Retrieving Heracles is our top priority."
Cilla moaned through her frown.
"I would rather relax in the sun than rescuing the asshole," Katina complained. "If he is laying around on the island, that will give me a good excuse to pound his ass."
"Zeus will not allow us to harm him," said Labda. "Although he is stronger than us."
Katina groaned. "That also makes me hate him even more."
The island grew and grew until the white-winged horse's hooves landed on the sandy ground near the small waves. They landed close toward a tropical jungle with palm trees and bushes. Birds whispered from beyond the shadows behind the trees.
Roger slid off the women after they jumped off the horse. Pegasus walked forward, shaking his head and stretching out his wings.
"Is this Djerba?" Roger asked, glancing around.
Labda approached the horse and rubbed his head. "Pegasus brought us here because he knows. The horse never gets lost."
Cilla giggled. "Good horsy!"
"We will stay with Pegasus while you go in there to fetch Heracles."
Roger shot his eyes at the women. "What? Just me?"
"Pegasus is the only one who can fly us off this island," Labda explained. "Remember, we are back in the time of gods and monsters. If something attacked Pegasus, we would be stuck here."
Roger pointed the bident at the horse. "But he can fly away from danger, can't he?"
"We don't know what's here." Cilla stroked Pegasus's chin. "And I don’t want anything to happen to Pegasus here. Right horsy?"
Pegasus only snorted.
"But what about me?" Roger asked. "I'm just a man in a freaking Greek myth world! I can't fight a Hydra, Chimera, or a Minotaur."
"Stop being a chicken!" Katina crossed her arms. "We fought monsters before we got here."
"But-"
"Don't doubt yourself, Roger." Labda pointed her claw at him. "You still have Hades’s armor and weapon. Yes, you are a mortal man, but you have a god's power. Nothing can challenge you if you don't run away. Trust us."

Roger stared at the bident. Perhaps he forgot, but being transported back in time was something new to him. Maybe trusting the beast women from the Underworld will be the only thing to keep him alive.
He sighed. "Okay, I'll fight whatever is on this island and save Heracles."
"Beware, he will think you are Hades in that gear," Labda warned. "Just explain everything to him, and he should listen."
"If not, knock his ass out," Katina suggested with a giggle.
Roger nodded and ran toward the jungle. In the police academy, his instructors trained him to be brave. He must not forget that training too.
"You can do it, sweetie!" Cilla cheered. "We'll kiss you after you come back!"
"What!?" Katina shouted.
Roger chuckled as he descended into the jungle.
*****
So many leaves high above blocked the sunlight, leaving the jungle floor in glooming darkness. Silence took over after the invisible birds stopped chirping.
Roger swore the day turned to night since he set foot into the jungle. Maybe the shady darkness played tricks on his mind.
Further past two trees, giggling girlish noises crept upon Roger. He turned around and followed the strange echoes through the bushes.
He approached two bushes and kneeled to keep his sight hiddened. He peeked over the bushes and spotted three women running around near a river. Two have long blonde hair while the other has short hair. They wore crown vines and pink silk dresses, keeping their curvy figures visible. In an odd sense, their skin looked vanilla and their eyes glittered pinkish.
Roger thought all the Greek people had brown skin and dark hair. Maybe the girls came from a hidden tribe who evolved in a dark place on the island. It could explain their unusual pale skin.
The girls ran all across the small grassy field in their golden sandals, trying to grab each other playfully. It seemed like they were playing tag, acting like little girls. They looked almost the same age as Roger, and he wasn't in his thirties yet.
They should be mature by now unless their tribe doesn't have much education.
Oh well. Girls will be girls.
Suddenly, the girl with the short hair tripped and splashed into the rushing river. She panicked and cried, struggling to stay afloat. While the river pushed her away, her two friends still played around as if the short-haired girl no longer existed.
"Hey!" Roger waved his hands up. "Your friend is drowning!"
The two girls kept giggling while touching each other. Were they deaf?
"Hey!" Roger looked back at the river.
The poor girl splashed up and down, still being carried away by the current. Clearly, she doesn't know how to swim.
Clenching his teeth, Roger raced down the river, running past the girl. He jumped onto a log, resting over the river. The girl drifted toward him.
He pointed the bident end down toward her. "Grab onto this!"
The girl reached for the bident. As soon as she caught the staff, Roger lifted her and placed her on the log. She dropped to her knees, coughing out the water from her lungs.

Roger padded her back. "Are you okay?"
The girl glanced up at him. Her pink eyes glittered in the streaming sunlight. A lavender scent drafted from her hair, drawing Roger closer to her.
Roger blinked. "Can you hear me?"
The girl seemed to daze until she spread a smile across her face. "You are a man! Where did you come from?"
"I… Came from-"
The girl stood up on her toes, rubbing his helmet. "Your head is so hard!"
Roger chuckled and pushed her hands down. "This is actually my helmet." He slowly removed the helmet and smiled. "See?"
The girl rubbed his chiseled face as if she has never seen a human face before. Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped a bit.
Was she high on something?
Roger had arrested drug addicts before, and he could tell the basic symptoms. Red eyes, distorted senses, and a smoky smell.
The girl looked dazed out of her mind, but her flowery smell was unfamiliar. Whatever it was, she was high on it.
"Look, I am looking for a man here," Roger explained. "A big, strong man who is named Hercules. Have you seen him?"
The girl giggled and took his hand. "Come with me."
She pulled him as they sprinted off the log.
"Oh, okay! What about your friends?" Roger asked, following her.
She only giggled, running through the bushes. Roger placed the helmet back on before the hanging branches slapped his face. He hoped the girl was taking him to the famous hero.
*****
Near the mountain, Roger followed the girl toward a village on a grass field. Every hut has hay rooftops and hidden mud around the exteriors.
To Roger’s surprise, all the villagers were women, wearing the same pink silk peplos and sandals. Their blonde hair sprinkled like gold in the sunlight, all tied in buns. The short-haired girl was the only one who stood out.
As Roger strolled through the village, he noticed none of the villagers turned their pink dilated eyes on him. How could they not notice him?
Some of the women lay in the sunlight, stroking the grass with their fingertips. One woman chased a yellow butterfly, laughing like a child. And two women kissed each other while standing against a pink blossom tree. That sparked Roger’s attention.
Throughout the village, the women were either playing like children, making out, or dancing around their primitive homes. Their flowery lavender sense intoxicated the entire air too.
Roger almost felt dizzy smelling their odd scent, but he still managed to follow the girl. Something was strangely wrong with this village.
"Wait here." The short-haired girl stopped near a hut. She smiled at Roger. "I'll be back."
Roger shrugged as the girl stepped into the hut. He continued looking around, wondering if Heracles was among the beautiful women. No doubt Heracles could be easily found in an all-female tribe.
I wonder where the men are at. Roger never heard of a second all-female tribe in Greece. He thought the Amazons were the only warrior women tribe taught in history. Perhaps there was so much more to learn than reading history books.
The girl returned, holding up a pink lotus flower on her palm. "Eat this."
Roger stared at the flower. "What is that?"
The girl smiled. "It will make you feel good."
Roger pursed his lips. His mother had always taught him not to eat anything from a stranger. But from a beautiful girl who looked innocent as a five-year-old? That was a different ball game. "No thank you. I still need to find Heracles here."
The girl giggled. "Eat, and I will show you."
Roger shrugged and removed his helmet. "Okay."
He had never eaten a flower before, but he heard some were edible enough to eat. The plants he ate were salad since his mother forced him to eat them. And mothers know eating greens do make you strong.
With two fingers, he picked the lotus and popped it into his mouth. A flowery taste melted on his tongue with little satisfaction.
"Hmmmmmm." Roger chewed and swallowed the flower. "Not bad. I tasted better-"
Roger paused as a blurry pinkness clouded around him. Dizziness crept through him as he felt like he stood on water. All his senses and feelings faded away, leaving him inside a pink reality of confusion.
He raised his arms, feeling light as a feather. "Wwwwwwwha hhhhhhapppening?"
The girl laughed. Her tone echoed as if she trapped him inside a plastic bubble.
While smiling, she reached up and kissed him. Her lips felt warm and very fruity like strawberries. It sent a shock throughout his body.
"Embrace me." She whispered, raising the hairs on his neck.
Roger raised his hand toward her. "Bbbbbuuuuut-"
She laughed and pulled him into the hut. "Embrace me."
Inside, she pushed him toward a flat white bed. He landed on his back, and the girl instantly laid on top of him.
"Embrace me." Her mouth was so close, her lavender breath spread all over Roger’s face.
Roger’s mind couldn't take it anymore. So he smiled at the girl. "Okay."
He held onto her and kissed her lips. Only the girl remained in his memories as the pink void consumed him.
For some reason, he enjoyed the hypnotic state.
*****
Roger opened his eyes, feeling his head burn like he was laying on a frying pan. The drug effect truly took a toll on him.
After he got his bearings, Roger found himself inside a dark cave with zero lavender scent. Green vines with lotus flowers decorated the walls.
He doesn't know how he came to the cave in the first place. The last thing he remembered was meeting a girl in the jungle and laying in bed with her. Did he have sex?
Roger rubbed his forehead. He couldn't believe he fell for a cute strange girl who offered some kind of drug. Now he was lost inside a cave without his-
Roger realized his armor and bident were missing. Only his underwear was left on him. "What the hell?"
A deep moan echoed behind him. He turned around and his eyes grew wide. "Hercules?"
