《My Cerberus Girlfriend》Book One: Chapter 12

Roger parked his police car in the parking lot near the Rainy Spring condo complex. He stepped out and looked around.
No other vehicle was in the parking lot. Perhaps most people liked to work late at night
Roger approached the stairway, but he stopped when his tenant approached him.
"Hey, Roger!" Mr.Bennie was a short man with brown hair around his bald head and a mustache under his back nose. He wore a white shirt and overall pants like he was somebody's grandfather.
"Hey, Mr.Bennie," Roger replied.
"You miss poker night again. I and the boys were expecting you."
Roger rubbed the back of his head. "Oh! Sorry about that. I am working late tonight."
Mr.Bennie crossed his hairy arms. "It doesn't look like you are working."
"I just need to pick up something from my condo before I head back to the station."
"Ah… Okay. We can reschedule for next time. You should bring Spencer too."
Roger gritted his teeth.
He wasn't sure if he should tell his tenant what happened to his partner. If he did, Mr.Bennie might wonder why Roger returned to his condo instead of the station. One lie might keep Mr.Bennie off him, although Roger doesn't enjoy lying.
"Ssssssss-sure! I will hit him up as soon as possible," said Roger.
Mr.Bennie laughed. "Good. I can't wait to see his face when I take his money. He still owns me."
Roger nodded. "I bet."
"Catch you later now. I will be saving my bills until our next game."
"Okay." Roger watched the tenant leave to his office, and then he raced up the staircase.
On the third floor, Roger approached his condo door and unlocked it.
Inside, he switched the living room light on and closed the door. He locked it and dashed to the glass sliding door.
After he pushed the left side open, he stepped onto the balcony and looked over the balustrade. All he could see below were black bushes beneath shady pine trees near the next street.
"Psst! Labda! Cilla! Katina!" Roger shouted. "Up here!"
In the bushes, the girls' dog heads popped out. They waved to him and he waved back. Hopefully, they will be quiet.
The three-headed beast woman climbed up one of the pine trees, closed to the complex. When they reached the top, the tree slowly bent down, because of the women's heavy body.
But they leaped and grabbed onto the balustrade. Roger grabbed their right hand and pulled them. "Hurry before someone sees you!"

"Hold your horses!" Katina growled.
The beast woman climbed up, but they fell onto Roger. Their large breasts crushed him on the floor, making him gasped.
"Oopies!" Cilla exclaimed with red cheeks.
Their breasts were warm like giant fleshy pillows. However, Roger was losing his breath. "Please….. Get off me….."
Labda pushed herself off Roger. His breath instantly returned.
"Oh, man!" Katina complained. "I wanted him to suffer!"
Cilla glared at her. "For what? Giving us a pleasant shelter? You are so mean, Katina!"
Roger pushed the sliding door all the way open. He was still catching his breath. "In you go and please touch nothing."
The three-headed hell hound stepped into the condo and looked around. Their heads almost touched the ceiling, but they could still step through.
"Wow!" Cilla exclaimed.
The living room was big with one staircase on the right side. On the left side was the kitchen near a dining table. The living room has an entertainment system, one large couch, a coffee table, and a sofa. All white with a light tan carpet floor.
"Not bad for a common guardsman," said Katina.
"Does your city treat you like royalty?" Labda asked.
Roger closed the back sliding glass door. "No, my ex-girlfriend used to rent this place. After we broke up, she left me here to pay off the rent. Now it is mine."
The three-headed beast woman poked his couch.
"Must have cost you a fortune here," said Labda.
"Yes and please don't do that. That couch cost me a fortune too."
Cilla stared at the large flatscreen television. "What is that contraption?"
Roger jumped to the front of his entertainment set. "Please don't touch that too! That is my television!"
“Uuuuuh… Okay!” The beast girl sat down on the couch and placed her large bare feet on the coffee table.
Roger dropped his mouth when he heard a crack. “What are you doing?”
"Resting you moron!" Katina explained and wiggled her clawed toes.
Roger pointed at her foot. "Remove your feet off there now!"
Katina giggled. "What's the matter? You don't like our feet?"
"No, I don't want you to break my glass table. Please get your feet off!"
"Do what he says," Labda ordered.
Katina shrugged and removed her feet off the table. There was a little crack in it.
"Do you have any food?" Cilla asked.
"Wait there. I'll check." Roger dashed into his kitchen.

He opened the fridge and looked. All he found was a pizza box with one slice of pepperoni pizza. In the freezer was one bottle of beer, probably frozen too long.
He took the beer and placed it in the sink. From the fridge, he took out the box and placed the cold slice on a plate. He doubted this would fill up the hellhound girl.
"Where is our food?" Katina's voice shouted.
"We're starving!" Cilla cried. "All we ate was garbage!"
Roger sighed and carried the leftover to the beast. "Here. It's food."
Katina sniffed the pizza. "What the hell is it?"
"Pizza.”
"What is pizza?" Cilla asked.
"A flatbread with tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.”
"Does it have meat?" Labda asked.
"Pepperoni is meat.”
Katina glared at him. "Not enough! We only eat meat. Raw meat! Covered in juicy blood!"
"Ewwwwww!" Cilla exclaimed. "I like cake and fruit."
"No! We need flesh! Man flesh would be delicious!”
Roger gulped. “Look, this is all I got here. If you want more food, I can stop by the grocery store later.”
Katina growled. "How pathetic! I thought you live like a king. You're just a commoner with shitty ass food!"
Roger lowered the plate. "I'm sorry, but I worked a lot. I usually eat take outs at my job. Sometimes I bring it home to save for later."
"Never mind her," said Labda. "Let me try it. We can eat anything."
She glared at Cilla. "Unless it has too much sugar."
Cilla blushed with an awkward giggle.
"Only you?" Roger asked. "What about them?"
"It doesn't matter," said Cilla. "We share the same body."
"We can't share the taste, but the food will give us energy," Labda explained.
"Or make us sick!" Katina complained.
That kind of made sense.
With basic anatomy knowledge, Roger imagined the beast girl has three esophagi, connected to one stomach. Having one stomach was enough to give them nutrition from the digested food.
“Well, here you go.” Roger placed the slice on the beast woman’s left hand.
Labda sniffed the slice and licked the cheese on it. “Mmmmmmh.”
Before she dropped it into her mouth, Katina caught it and swallowed the slice.
“Katina!” Labda shouted.
Katina smiled and licked the sauce off her muzzle. “Not bad! Needs more meat, but I like it!”
Cilla gave Roger a sad puppy-eyed look. “Do you have any more, sweetie?”
“Sorry, that is all.” Roger carried the plate back into the kitchen and placed it in the sink.
Katina crossed her arms. “Damn…..”
“You need to stop being greedy, Katina!” Labda shouted. “I asked for the slice first!”
“You’re not quick enough.”
Labda growled at Katina’s face until Roger returned with his cellphone in his left hand. “Please don’t fight in here. I will order more right now.”
Cilla stared at the device in his hand. “With that?”
“It’s a cellphone. We use it to call people.”
“Like a summoning stone?” Labda asked.
“Not ex-”
Roger paused when his phone rang.
The beast woman jumped to her feet with her fists up, ready to fight.
“Calm down!” Roger exclaimed. “Somebody is calling me.”
Roger answered the phone. “Hello?”
“Roger, where the hell are you?” Chief Baker’s voice shouted.
“I’m a little busy right now, sir. What is it?”
“Somebody called us about a strange creature at the zoo. They said you and Spencer checked it out.”
“Oh….. Yes sir.”
“Did you find anything? Is Spencer with you?”
“No sir. He….. Is dead.”
“Dead? What the hell happened?”
“It’s complicated, sir.”
Baker’s voice sighed. “Okay….. Just head back to the station and make your report.”
“Yes, sir.” Roger hung up his cellphone and placed it into his pocket. “I have to go now. I have to report to my superior.”
“Can we come with you?” Cilla asked.
Roger rubbed the back of his head. “I don’t think so. My fellow officers might shoot you on sight.”
“But we can remain hidden in the shadows,” said Labda “No human will see us.”
“It might be best if you stay here.”
“But this place looks boring as hell!” Katina exclaimed. “We need fresh air.”
Roger rubbed his forehead.
Perhaps letting them tag along would keep his condo safe. If he leaves them, they might destroy his furniture by accident. That could cost him his entire paycheck.
“Okay, you can follow me,” he said. “Stay hidden unless a monster appears.”
The girls nodded their dog heads.

Sylver Seeker
After fulfilling the duty all arch necromancers are tasked with, Sylver Sezari was not expecting to ever wake up again. But he did. And after crawling his way back into the land of the living, he’s alive once again. In a strange land, a strange time, and with a strange floating screen in front of his new face. Either through plan or chance, he’s alive again, and planning to enjoy himself to his heart's content. -The story isn’t grimdark, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows either. There will be lighthearted and positive moments, as well as some sad ones. That being said, it’s a whole lot more light than dark. -This is a LITRPG story. Chapters are published every 2 days at 21:00 GMT. Author’s note:-It can get very GORY. I’m somewhat desensitized to gore and violence. So while the story isn’t full of gore for the sake of gore, it can get a little too descriptive.-The MC is a necromancer, so corpses and decay, and all the things that come with it, will be mentioned from time to time.-I’m a huge fan of Egyptian, Slavic, and Greek mythology, so expect quite a bit of that. That said, so much is altered, you’ll be hard-pressed to guess how exactly it is being used.-Despite being ‘immortal’ the MC can die. In the event he does, the story doesn’t end, simply time skips forward. Which in some cases is going to be worse than just dying.-I love plot twists, as much as I love red herrings and Chekhov guns. Deus Ex Machina’s not so much. Cover: https://angshumandhar.artstation.com/projects
