A soft smack rang out in the air.

A stinging sensation on the cheeks.

-Smack!

Again.

"Hey, wake up already."

"Mmmm..." A soft groan sounded out.

"Wake up! We have to leave!"

Another smack landed on the cheeks of the sleeping girl.

"Ah!" She winced and squinted her eyes. With a hand on her cheeks, the girl pushed her elbows against the ground and lifted her body up. Sitting on her knees next to her was a blonde beauty. Green eyes sparkled back at the girl, the cutesy pout on her lips enough to warm the hearts of even the worst of night owls woken up early in the morning.

"Ehehe, good morning, Lady Schnell."

The blonde beauty lightly hit the girl's nose with a finger and let go of the pout. "Good morning, Clementine. Just call me Ettie already."

"Ah, yeah. I'll do that," Clementine answered back. She stretched her hands and pushed herself out of her sleeping bag. She couldn't stand up since the tent wasn't big enough, so she sat on her knees and pulled her bag towards herself.

Ettie gave her another smile before crawling out of the tent. "Take your time, I'll prepare breakfast with Lucas."

"Yup! I'll be there in a second."

Clementine watched Ettie leave until she was completely out of sight. A sigh escaped her as he tightly hugged her bag and rested her face on it.

"Ahhh, this is so awkward!" she said with her head buried in her bag. Just how had things turned out like this? How had she become the only one sleeping in a different tent in a party of five with three other girls besides her! "Gshasha, I hate couples! Die, all of them, just burn."

After a few more muffled awkward screams, Clementine finally let go of her bag. The bag floated away and opened up on its own. A set of clothes floated out of the bag and landed right in Clementine's hands.

She put on the change of clothes and crawled out of the tent, she was still yawning as the tent folded itself behind her and got packed right into her bags.

"Wow, still as impressive as ever Clementine!" A young girl with pink hair complimented Clementine as she saw the tent fold itself up. Another girl looking exactly like the first one clapped her hands and nodded along.

Despite them seeing it every day, they still reacted like this. Clementine awkwardly smiled back at her twin companions and went further ahead to check in on breakfast.

A little away from where they had camped up, a fully armored young man with messy brown hair was giggling around with a blonde girl on his side. They had set up wood and stones and had added some leaves, but did not even do as much as light a fire, let alone take out their utensils and actually cook something.

"Ahem!" Clementine awkwardly coughed to get their attention. It was obviously audible enough to both of them, but the man seemed to be ignoring it.

Thankfully, Ettie couldn't play along and blushed as she turned toward Clementine. "Y-you're here."

'Maybe a bit of decency from being a saintess remains,' Clementine wanted to say the words out loud, but couldn't.

"Oh, Clementine, you woke up?" Lucas, the armored young man said. "Your hair's looking a bit off, you should fix it."

A while back Clementine would have inquired where, but one experience was enough. This bastard just wanted an excuse to come closer.

"Haha, don't mind it," Clementine answered back. "Did you guys make anything?"

"Ah, we tried, but we just can't make anything good, right Ettie?"

"Huh? Uh, yes. That is... the case."

Clementine almost wanted to shove each of their heads into the ground and cook them up but managed to hold herself back. With a sigh, she asked them to move aside. "Don't mind it, I'll cook."

"Thank you, Clementine!" Lucas clapped his hands together. "It should be easy with your telekinesis anyway, and your food is great too!"

Clementine only nodded and took out the utensils and ingredients from the bag kept next to the two of them. Instead of scurrying the fuck out of her face, the two of them continued their flirting right there while she prepared breakfast.

'Just how did it come this? Why...'

It didn't take long for the food to be prepared. All the while, Clementine kept cursing things out in her mind. The twins, Lucas and Ettie all gathered and indulged in the breakfast, complimenting the girl every now and then but ignoring her for the most part.

When they were done, they just the mess as it was, saying they had to prepare for the journey ahead, leaving Clementine to clean up alone.

When that was done too, they all gathered up and prepared to leave.

"Ah, Clementine," one of the pink-haired twins called out. "Would you mind taking our bags too? They are too heavy to carry along and be in a good condition. It should be easy with your powers, no?"

"... Yes. It should."

Deep within the ocean of lies from the summoned Hero, the Saintess, and these two twin Princesses, Clementine was lost.
