《A World Worth Fighting For》Chapter 9: Necromancy
Advertisement
The Alpha Grey Wolf was injured and panting quite heavily, whilst eyeing down the members of the United Rejects group quite viciously.
It was not only the Alpha Grey Wolf that was tired, but every one of the United Rejects group members were pretty exhausted and mentally drained, after the prolonged fight with the Grey Wolves and Goblins.
Sameer Chowderick then thought to himself, 'Why don't I try necromancy out first hand on this dead Goblin Rider, as it may produce some satisfying results.'
Following the knowledge that was implanted inside his head, by the system, after he picked the {Necromancer} class.
He chanted the following sequences of incantations, "Spirit of the dead, heed my call..."
"For I am the Necromancer Sameer Chowderick. Listen to my call, for I shall summon you to the world of the living from the land of the dead, to become an undead servant and serve me as your master, in your next life."
"Now ARISE my undead creation!" After Sameer Chowderick has finished chanting.
The black miasma, the unholy essence of necromancy, it then strongly erupts from his body.
Flowing like the wind, with a mind of its own, the black miasma then heeded Sameer Chowderick's instructions, and slowly made its own way and enters the corpse of the recently deceased Goblin Rider.
The dead body of the Goblin Rider then convulses, producing bone cracking sounds, and bending in unnatural ways.
The black miasma enters the Goblin Rider's dead body, through the nostrils, eye hole, mouth.
And after some time, once enough of the black miasma has entered the deceased Goblin Rider's corpse.
The transformation process then begins, as the original green goblin skin then darkens, having become a somewhat mixture of greyish black and swampy green. The process resembles necrosis.
The colours of the pupils then fades away, becoming a milky white pearl, looking quite lifeless and unmoving.
Ding!
[ You have successfully reanimated the deceased corpse of the Goblin Rider! 1 Undead Goblin Rider - {Zombie Type} gained! ]
There are three types of undead that a Necromancer class individual can summon or reanimate, and that is {Zombie Type}{Skeleton Type}{Ghost Type}.
Depending on the type of undead creature that is created from the reanimated corpse, their weakness and strengths varies.
For instance, a reanimated zombie corpse will have a strong physical body, but its movement are slow and sluggish.
Whilst, a skeleton will be much faster, with less body mass, strong against slash and stabs attacks, but weak against blunt force attacks.
On the other hand, ghost type are immune to physical type attacks, and only takes damage from magic attacks or physical attacks imbued with elemental magic.
But for a matter of fact, all undeads share a common weakness and that is that it is greatlt weakened when exposed to sunlight or the holy attribute.
The reanimated undead Goblin Rider then got up from the floor, as it steadily awaits some orders from its necromancer master.

'Interesting.' Sameer Chowderick thought, as he gazes intently at the undead goblin rider that he reanimated.
"Get up." Sameer Chowderick issued a command toward the undead goblin rider.
He then raises his right hand upwards, as a simple hand gestures, implying for the target or simply his undead servant to get up from the floor.
The undead goblin rider then pushes both hands against the floor, thereby creating a forward momentum pushing it off the ground, as it got up.
The undead goblin rider was obedient, standing quietly before its own master.
'Display.' Sameer Chowderick thought, it's the command phrase that allows the necromancer master to see his or her's undead servant's status.

'The undead goblin rider that I've reanimated to become my undead servant, its overall physical attribute stats are slightly higher than mine, but its intelligence related stats are quite low.' Sameer Chowderick was able to make a quick observation of his undead servant's status.
He then continues, 'Although, his passive skill {Flesh to Exp Conversion} is certainly unique to the undead race, particularly the zombie type, as it allows them to consume flesh to grow stronger.'
'And it seems the undead goblin rider manages to keep some of the skill that it has when it was alive. How neet...' Sameer Chowderick thought.
Whilst, this was going on, the other members of the United Rejects group were trying to finish off the Alpha Grey Wolf.
David Griffin powered by his exclusive skill {Lion's Strength} then charges in with his two handed stone claymore in hand, as he slashes at the Alpha Grey Wolf head on.
The stone claymore then cuts a straight line down the Alpha Grey Wolf's face, diagonally, as fresh blood then spluttered out from the slash wound.
The Alpha Grey Wolf then cried out in pain, as it attempted to retaliate, by raising both its claws upwards, but Aaron Lee then jumps in and repeatedly stabbed its right side with his pair of tickets stone daggers, drawing out more blood.
The Alpha Grey Wolf quickly bled to death from the several stabbed wounds it incurred from fighting with the United Rejects group members.
However, the most of the battle damage it incurred were caused by non other than Aaron Lee himself.
Ding!
A quick notification that confirms that they have successfully slain the Alpha Grey Wolf.

[ You have killed an Alpha Grey Wolf! 1564 experience points has been gained! ]
[ 3 kill points has been acquired! ]
[ You have levelled up and become level 16! ]
Since Aaron Lee was the one to deal the final blow to the Alpha Grey Wolf, and contributed the most out of the fight. He thereby gains the most experience points acquisition out if the group.
[ You have reached the necessary levels in order to unlock the class system! Primary class slot has been unlocked! ]
'Class System.' Aaron Lee thought, as he then saw a list of classes then opens up before him.
The choices are ranging from the ordinary closed ranged warrior class, the magic orientated mage class, the healing specialist cleric class, long range archer, and finally the hunter class.
[Please choose your primary class of choice: Warrior, mage, cleric, and hunter ]
'Since I'm currently dual wielding a pair of stone daggers. The hunter class seems more suitable for me than the other classes.' Aaron Lee thought so to himself.
The moment that Aaron Lee presses on the {Hunter} class option, another panel then pops up asking for confirmation.
[ Warning! Once an individual has selected their primary class, it is permanent, and cannot be changed! However, a secondary subclass slot will thereby be unlocked! ]
[ An individual can only possess 1 main class and 3 subclasses! One can not access the second subclass slot until their first subclass slot has reached the master level! ]
[ Experience points gained from killing will be devided equally amongst classes, but with the main primary classes taking priority over everything else! Primary class 40%, subclass 20%, subclass 20%, subclass 20%! ]
[ Do you wish to accept the class change? Yes/No ]
Aaron Lee then presses on the confirmation button, as all the blue screen panels that lay before him then dissipates into particles of light.
He could instinctively felt that his body was changing, adapting to the sudden class change.
[ The Host's primary class has been changed to {Hunter}! The host's base levels has been reset to level 1! ]
[ As a result of choosing the {Hunter} class, you have obtained the prerequisite class skills {Hunter's Foresight Lv.1}{Lesser Detection Lv.1}{Hunter Footsteps Lv.1}{Sneak Lv1}! ]
'Hmmm... Not bad.' Aaron Lee thought so to himself.
'So lets test out the range of detection from the {Lesser Detection} skill.' Aaron Lee thought, as he instinctively activated the {Lesser Detection} skill.
For the short duration that it took for a flint spark to ignite, his senses momentarily heightened, sending out a flash, a pulse of light, reaching a distance away surrounding him.
The feeling is akin to using echolocation, by actively utilising sonar to detect the moving presence of another being.
The range of Aaron Lee's {Lesser Detection} skill is roughly three meters.
And in that instance, that Aaron Lee activated his {Lesser Detection} skill, he was instinctively able the detect the presence of any one within a 3 meters radius of himself.
However, upon proper calculation, Aaron Lee was able to sense another individual's presence, outside of the United Rejects group members.
It was Sameer Chowderick's reanimated goblin rider zombie, and he found it quite strange.
'What the...' It was his first response.
'It doesn't add up.' He thought.
He then looked back and recounted the numbers of the members of the United Rejects group, and looked into distance where he sensed the other presence.
The moment that Aaron Lee saw the reanimated goblin rider zombie, his body reacted, as he then grips the pairs of stone daggers in his hand tighter, and charges towards the two.
Whilst, running at top speeds, and quickly closing the distance, Aaron Lee was just about to perform a double stab upon the back of the goblin rider zombie.
"Stop! Aaron! Don't hurt the undead goblin rider!" Sameer Chowderick shouted loudly, upon seeing the vastly approaching figure of Aaron Lee, who was just about to stab the poor undead goblin rider.
However, seeing Sameer Chowderick's reaction to his attempt, was enough to deter him with following the decision to carry through.
However, he was already in the midst of motion, and stopping abruptly was not possible.
So he instinctively changes the direction of his attack, by moving the pairs of stone daggers a bit.
Instead of the pair of stone daggers piercing the back of the goblin rider zombie, it misses, and Aaron Lee then ended up hugging the reanimated goblin rider zombie, and pushing it down.
Aaron Lee pushed the reanimated undead Goblin Rider to the ground, and was laying on top of him.
He was clearly confused and angered, so he shouted at Sameer Chowderick, "You better have a good explanation for this or I will definitely kick your ass, Sameer!"
"Hey look!" David Griffin shouted, whilst trying to get the attentions of the other guys, and pointing in his particular direction.
"Aaron is trying to make out with a goblin corpse." David Griffin said.
Malachi Hendrickson just smiles, as all of the remaining United Rejects group members then suddenly burst into tears of laughter.
This further seems to infuriate Aaron Lee, as he then immediately got up from laying on top of the reanimated undead goblin rider, with a slight frown on his face. Grinding his teeths angrily, and looking in Sameer Chowderick's particular direction.
The undead goblin rider took its own time slowly getting off the ground. It showed no signs of retaliation for the straight tackle instigated by Aaron Lee.
And the moment that the members of United Rejects saw that the goblin rider was alive, they readily armed themselves. Their immediate reaction was exactly similar to Aaron Lee's.
"Ummm... I can explain." Sameer Chowderick hesitantly said.

The world of Naruto doesn't follow the same script as the original Naruto series. The whole world of Naruto is so much different, even though Chris has watched the entire naruto series, it won't help him at all since everything in Naruto is different. And now Chris has to survive in this new world of Naruto I do not have any rights to the Naruto or the cover either, this is only a hobby to write fan-fiction light novels. WARNING: If you hate harem, then this novel isn't for you. There will never be any sexual content in this novel. And i'll try my best to not let the harem ruin this novel. There are potentially only 5 harem members on it, NO MORE THAN THAT AMOUNT. And yes, I am sorry for not keeping my word for this novel, and included a harem in it. I didn't want it either, because it means more work for me. But I did a poll and harem won. I am sorry for that, and please forgive me. This novel also includes OP mc, for those who don't like OP Mc's. And this also includes light Sasuke and Sakura bashing, only in the early part of the story, but then changes after. And this also includes more characters. Sincerely, Lodoly.

What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
