《A World Worth Fighting For》Chapter 8: Class Awakening

'It was now four against six, and we're noe currently holding the advantage in greater numbers.' Aaron Lee thought so to himself, whilst showing a grimly dark facial expression.
The Alpha Grey Wolf then made the first move, it immediately charges forwards towards the group.
Its massive menacing figure looming terrifyingly over the United Rejects group, with its huge body rushing over towards an nearby target.
It was obviously targeting David Griffin who was currently within its sights.
"Damn It All!" David Griffin showed a grim expression, whilst cursing underneath his breathe.
The Alpha Grey Wolf then quickly raising its front left claw up into the air, and rightly slams down at David Griffin's figure.
An unyielding sense of deadly crisis then immediately washes over David Griffin's entire body, as his body thereby becomes tensed up, all of a sudden.
This unusually feeling of death, similar to the encounter with the goblin warrior, but much stronger, it overwhelms his senses.
David Griffin reacted, almost instinctively, he had no time to second guess himself.
There was not enough time or duration to move out of the incoming attack, as the Alpha Grey Wolf's left claw then draws near, and within reached.
'I must block it.' David Griffin thought, whilst biting his lips, and bracing for impact.
He raises the stone claymore upwards, with the tip of the stone blade pointing diagonally downwards.
David Griffin is utilising the flat stone surface of the stone claymore blade as a shield to block against the Alpha Grey Wolf's claw attack, mitigating the force of impact slightly, as the Alpha Grey Wolf's left claw slid against the flat stone blade's surface and downwards.
The Alpha Grey Wolf's claw strike hit the ground hardly, whilst leaving a deep imprint on the floot.
The driving force is still being carried, despite the vast majority of the force being misdirected by the stone claymore blade. It was enough to flung David Griffin's body flying backwards.
David Griffin's body then hits the wall, thereby knocking the air out of his lungs, as his grib over the handle of the stone claymore then loosens.
The loosened stone claymore then fell out of his hand.
David griffin is now unarmed, as he is left defenseless for a wide open attack, and a nearby Grey Wolf has spotted the opportunity and immediately gave chase.
"David!" Gérard Wight shouted out David Griffin's name, as he then charges in to intercept the Grey Wolf's path of attack.
Gerard Wight then blocks the attack of the Grey Wolf aiming for David Griffin, with his square shield.
Whilst, taking the instantaneous opportunity that Gerard Wight gave him.
Aaron Lee then charges forth, advancing towards the right hand side of the Grey Wolf, as he quickly lunges the six inches long stone dagger blade deeply into the Grey Wolf's neck.
And fresh blood spew aimlessly from the stabbed neck of the recently deceased Grey Wolf.
Its front right hand side is now covered in its own blood, as Aaron Lee then pulls the six inches long stone dagger blade out. The grey wolf's blood is splattered about.

Lines of blue panels soon appeared before his eyes, thereby confirming his kill.
Ding!
(!) System Notification You have killed a Grey Wolf! 254 experience points has been acquired! 3 kill points has been gained!
The lifelessness of the Grey Wolf soon dissappears from its eyes, bleeding to death, as its carcass then immediately tumbles to the ground.
Thud!
At the same time, towards the group's other side, Sameer Chowderick was able to single handedly kill the remaining Grey Wolf.
And now it was only the Alpha Grey Wolf left, and the Goblin Rider.
"Anik, aim for the goblin rider on top of the Alpha Grey Wolf!" Aaron Lee shouted, whilst instructing Anik Mackallick who was on the back lines.
"Roger that." Anik Mackallick responded back, as he nodded his head slightly.
He then loads his own crossbow with another stone arrow, and steadily aims at the Goblin Rider riding on top of the Alpha Grey Wolf's back.
With his finger on the cross bow trigger, he waited for the Alpha Grey Wolf to get into position where he will shoot the crossbow.
Gerard Wight activated his exclusive skill charge ability, increasing the speed of his forward momentum, as he then slams his square shield against the main body of the Alpha Grey Wolf.
The square shield then temporarily locked the Alpha Grey Wolf in place, so that Anik Mackallick could take the shot with the crossbow more accurately, and Aaron Lee gave the signal.
"Now! Shoot the crossbow!" Aaron Lee simply shouted, whilst giving his companion to shoot the crossbow.
Anik Mackallick then pulls the crossbow trigger, firing the crossbow arrow at the Goblin Rider who is currently riding the Alpha Grey Wolf.
At the distance of a couple of feats away, it is almost completely impossible to missed the shot, at this range.
The crossbow arrow is shot, cutting straight through the air like dagger, as it struct the left side of the Goblin Rider's chest.
However, the Goblin Rider was wearing a leather armour, made from harden animal hide.
So the crossbow arrow didn't completely pierced through, but it was definitely enough to punctured the goblin's skin and pierced a part of its flesh.
The Goblin Rider was not happy with the sudden turned of events, as it has been harmed.
It loudly growls, screaming and issuing orders to his mount.
Aaron Lee then takes this mistaken opportunity to approach the side of the Alpha Grey Wolf, whilst its entire attention is focuses on Gerard Wight holding it back.
He enters the Alpha Grey Wolf's blindspot, giving him a chance to deal some slight major damage whilst it was distracted.
Executing his move like a skilled assassin, Aaron Lee stabs the stone dagger into the side of the Alpha Grey Wolf's body, then activating his exclusive skill {Unceasing Pain}.
Awoo... Growls!
The Alpha Grey Wolf then made some painful noise as a result of being stabbed by Aaron's stone dagger.

It couldn't react in time, before it was suddenly assaulted with a second wave of pain.
The second wave of pain was much stronger than the last. It is enough to completely to overwhelms ones own senses, and plunged them into a state of panic.
As a steady swarm of black particles then exudes from the pores of his palm, travelling down the stone dagger blade, and making contact with the open wound inflicted by Aaron's stone dagger.
The underlying the traits of the black particles is that it inflicts severe amounts of pain upon whoever comes in contact with it.
The pain exhibiting effects then activated.
Upon the black particles entering through the dagger stabbed wound, it thereby intensified the pain that the Alpha Grey Wolf felt.
It was so excruciating, almost like having swallowed shards of glass, as the pain seems to only intensified as the time passes.
The Alpha Grey Wolf's body then convulses, under huge amounts of pain and stress, it runs amoc.
Wildly rampaging with no end, as the pains grows, not stopping long before ceasing contact with Aaron Lee's black particles.
It would seem that the painful sensation lasts for quite some time, similar to how after eating a red hot pepper, the hot sensation will gradually dissipates after the initial exhibition when in contact with the taste buds.
The Alpha Grey Wolf was running amoc, rampaging around wildly, as it flails its large body around.
By some unfortunate accident, and lucky for us, the Alpha Grey Wolf manages to dropped the Goblin Rider that was currently riding on its back.
The Goblin Rider having fallen off his mount, the Alpha Grey Wolf.
And Sameer Chowderick took this chance to rush in and slain the Goblin Rider.
His two pair of stone axes repeatedly smashed against the body of the Goblin Rider until it was dead.
Ding!
A mechanical beep then resounded inside of his head.
Lines of blue text soon appeared in front of him, thereby confirming his kill.
(!) System Notification You have killed a Goblin Rider! 748 experience points has been rewarded! 3 kill points has been gained! (!) System Notification The individual named Sameer Chowderick has levelled up and become level 15! (!) System Notification You have reached the necessary levels in order to unlock the class system! Primary class slot has been unlocked!
Sameer Chowderick took a quick glance and instinctively thought, 'Class System.'
Classes are jobs or a special character archetypes, which is quite often used in RPG games to differentiate their characters from others, whilst in combat.
Typically, a warrior who focuses on closed ranged melee combat.
Second, mage who specialises in a variety of magic and spellcraft.
And finally, an archer with a bow who fires quick arrows shots from a long distance.
Ding!
(!) System Notification You have fulfilled the necessary requirements in order to unlocked the class {Necromancer}! (!) System Notification The requirements in order to unlocked the {Necromancer} class is to possess any one of these prerequisites titles: (Occult Lover)(Grave Defiler)(Necrophiliac)(Walking Corpse)... (!) System Notification Do you wish to accept the class change? Yes/No
Sameer Chowderick excitedly thought, 'What? A Necromancer class. I've hit the jackpot!'
Ecstatically, Sameer Chowderick immediately presses the confirm button on the screen panel, without a moment of thought.
(!) System Notification
Warning! Once an individual has selected their primary class, it is permanent, and cannot be changed! However, a secondary subclass slot will thereby be unlocked!
An individual can only possess 1 main class and 3 subclasses! One can not access the second subclass slot until their first subclass slot has reached the master level! Experience points gained from killing will be devided equally amongst classes, but with the main primary classes taking priority over everything else! Primary class 40%, subclass 20%, subclass 20%, subclass 20%!
Once the system has recognised Sameer Chowderick's decision to choose the {Necromancer} class as his choice.
Sameer Chowderick's body was then suddenly enveloped by a dazzling white light.
His eyes suddenly exuded lingering wisps of grey smoke.
It resembles smoke from burning carbon, but it was tasteless and ethereal, not interacting really well with the physical world.
And the true form of this grey smoke is the black miasma used by Necromancers.
Ding!
(!) System Notification The user's primary class has been changed to {Necromancer}! The class levels has been reset, and thereby returned to level 1! (!) System Notification As a result of choosing the {Necromancer} class, you have obtained the prerequisite class skills {Black Magic Mastery Lv.1}{Corpse Reanimation Lv.1}{Necromancer's Magic Eye Lv.1}!
Whilst, Sameer Chowderick was busy undergoing the class awakening ceremony, the others were busy preoccupied with holding the Alpha Grey Wolf in check.
And David Griffin was gradually able to recover his strength, after resting for some time before outright joining back in the subjugation.
The Alpha Grey Wolf was cornered, being surrounded by the United Rejects group from all sides, in steady encirclement.
Its own body was heavily injured, tired and exhausted, after the exhibition of Aaron Lee's exclusive skill {Unceasing Pain} has worn off.
A number of serious wounds coming from Aaron Lee's pair of stone daggers stabbing into its sides, and the heavy slashes from David Griffin's stone claymore.
The Alpha Grey Wolf was currently in intense agony, panting quite heavily, whilst having lost too much.
But, the Alpha Grey Wolf has yet to give up, still possessing a will to fight.
And if the Alpha Grey Wolf was a human, it would undoubtedly have said, "If I must die, then I would rather die fighting till the very end, rather than meeting my ends by surrendering."
