The next morning Lupos and Fenrir attended school, however, as they attempted to arrive they were blocked by students attempting to wish them well or ask how they got so strong without high grade magical cores.
"Shall we make them move, Lupos?" Asked Fenrir using mind speak. Lupos shook his head, as irritating as it was, he did not want to do anything that might make him stand out or give the headmaster any clue of his existence outside that of a slightly above average student.
Sighing, as he was still surrounded by people, he made his way to classroom. Thankfully once the students arrived they went to bother Lucio over him. He sighed once again in relief, no matter how much time passed he would always hate humans and being in a school like this tested his patience to the very limit.
His first lesson today was set to be advanced summoning which was vital as it would allow him to view what was necessary for a summoning. The teacher today was the sixth elder, a once beautiful woman in her mid-forties.
"Now today we will be going onto the concept of multiple summoning's.The ability to summon more spirits after you have already summoned one. There are two ways - can anyone tell me one of them?" Violet who was sitting at the front raised her hand. "Yes Violet" asked the elder.
"Well the first method is positioning five high class magic cores in a magic circle. This not only allows someone to summon a second familiar but also up to three more, though only one persons ever managed that. Because this method is expensive yet safe, the school will pay for the opportunity for any student under twenty who is a rank seven magician to try."

"Correct, now the second method is more dangerous but the payoff is higher, this method is called absorption, instead of putting the magical cores into a magic circle you directly absorb the pure magic into your body and conduct the summoning using only yourself. Because your magic will be more powerful like this it will attract higher tier spirits. So can anyone tell me a hazard or disadvantage of this method?"
At the front, Violet once again raised her hand, the elder nodded to her. "Firstly," started Violet "some peoples bodies can't handle the amount of energy they take in leading to certain death. The possibility of receiving more than one spirit also decreases and on certain occasions summoners have summoned a spirit too far above them, which has turned on them, refusing to obey or form a contract."
The elder nodded " very good Violet, now does anyone have any questions?" Lupos thought for a minute about any additional information he may need, finally he raised his hand "yes Gale?" Said the elder sounding visibly shocked at his contribution "For the absorption method would it matter which type of magical cores you use, and would it affect the summoning in any way."
"Well," said the elder after thinking a moment "if for example, you use five snake beast magical cores, your energy would look like a snake giving you a higher chance of summoning a snake spirit. Usually for summoning's we'd say the higher class core the better however absorption is an exception as a core too high above your level could result in death, any more questions?" The students shook their heads "good then lets start today's lecture."
As the elder started to drone on Lupos started to talk to Fenrir in mindspeak. "So what do you think?" Asked Lupos excitedly "Absorption, if it was anyone else I'd tell them to refrain, but it sounds like you'd try it anyway. While you're in school i'll gather the five crystals each one from a different animal so as to increase your variety." Lupos nodded in agreement "Gather the cores and I'll meet you in the woods once school is over." Fenrir nodded and his presence disappeared as he appeared in the forest two miles away.

For Lupos school dragged on and eventually people realised he wouldn't talk to them no matter how many of them came to congratulate him on winning second place in the tournament. Eventually the end of the day came and he rushed to the forest where he saw Fenrir waiting "lets get started he grinned."
