《Ancient Cultivator in Modern World》Chapter 84: Incomparable Rage.

Even though the two of them didn't acquire that much sleep, they were still able to move in a way that didn't expose their exhaustion, however, in contrast to the Lily whose expression looked drenched in morning dew, Khan who sat at the side, wore an expression of tiredness as he just plopped down, not wanting to stand up.
He turned and glanced at Lily's face that looked moistened thanks to the fierce fight that occurred last night which made her glisten under the illumination of sunlight. His expression changed into speechlessness for in each time the two worked hard, it was Lily who obtained the advantages.
Recalling her fierceness, Khan lifted his eyebrow and asked, "Why did you become so obedient last night?" This issue bothered him for he urged her in executing some of the more embarrassing postures indicated inside the Yin-Yang Assimilation Method such as the Inverted Phoenix Position.
Lily heard his question and her expression abruptly trembled before her hand, landed on her lower abdomen and her eyes, slightly narrowed in mirthfulness, and at this moment, she thoroughly looked like a virtuous wife.
Khan's eyes constricted as an absurd idea which was actually plausible emerged in his mind, of which, he quickly dispersed as he said in a trembling and solemn tone, "Could it be that..."
"You're pregnant?!"
Lily exasperatedly smacked the side of his head, which made him bite his tongue in response, "Just what ideas are you thinking!" She scolded before murmuring in a barely audible, "It's not like I can easily get pregnant..."
The former sighed in relief upon hearing this revelation, but inwardly, he decided that he would stop depositing his seeds inside her, who knows when she would get pregnant? Although Khan didn't really mind having a child, he knew that it was too early for him to raise a family of his own, for he still has some enemies scattered across the entire planet, and he would only think of this matter by the time that he already annihilated all of them.
"Then, why are you doing something that is easily misunderstood?" Khan spoke in a wronged tone and his expression turned rosy and quite adorable which made his little wife, almost explode in cuteness as she held his face with both of her hands and pinched.
"Hey, stop doing that, how about you prepare our breakfast, we only have two hours left!" Khan protested, yet Lily just hummed a tune as she continued pulling on his cheeks, stretching it.
"What do you like to eat?" She spoke in a coquettish tone and moved her head towards his ear and gently bit, causing a tent to form on Khan's lower body.
"Look at what you did!" Khan scolded, eventually, a smile leaked on his lips as he murmured, "You're hungry, right?" His eyes emanated an ambiguous light which indicated his desire.
Since the table was suddenly reversed towards Khan's advantage, Lily stared blankly for a while before sighing as she dove under the sheets and directly attacked the knight's tower.
Feeling the intense suction force that threatened to devour his lance from its roots, Khan just laid there, his eyes slightly narrowed as he enjoyed the sensation that stemmed from his lower body.
Soon, a stark naked Lily emerged under the sheets, she stared at Khan with pouted cheeks before her throat moved as if she was swallowing something which distorted her expression into disgust.
"I guess, that really is not for eating..." Khan awkwardly smiled and the former only stared at him speechlessly before standing up, picked her clothes and dressed before moving towards the kitchen.

Not long enough, Khan followed suit with a house attire, his gaze darted on the dishes that Lily was cooking and found that it was the usual breakfast before moving towards the bathroom and showered. When he came out, Lily had already finished setting up the table with all of the dishes laid above it.
Smelling the faint fragrance that wafted in the air, Khan's appetite roused and even though Lily can't hold a candle against his culinary skills, he still found her skills as acceptable and he sat down and started wolfing the dishes, but at the same time, he made sure that there was enough meat for Lily.
Witnessing his gesture of leaving the meat dishes for her, Lily wore a complicated expression as she continued her meal, for it's not like she doesn't know about how Khan liked meat and seeing him leaving those dishes for her, she felt quite bad and said.
"You can eat a little bit of meat..." She spoke in a hushed and reluctant tone.
Khan's eyes turned strange upon hearing her say those words, and eventually, he replied with a doubting tone, "Are you sure that you're letting me eat some of it?"
"Yeah, I'm letting you have some of it, so just get it!" Lily replied in a tone that wanted him to immediately take his part, but what made her speechless wasn't that, it was because when he heard her confirmation, his hand that held the chopsticks, immediately blurred, taking the juicy parts of the meat, which made her instantly regret her decision.
Khan even teased her by raising the glistening meat up in the air and dropping it down his mouth, which made Lily, stomp her feet in indignance.
Later on, after their breakfast, despite the exhaustion that they felt, walked towards the direction of the University of Modern Magic, although they could just spend the day resting since attendance wasn't compulsory, Khan still felt that it would be a good change of pace to attend a school, which was something that he hadn't really done before.
Due to the fact that there was only a single attending homeroom teacher, class times became boring for Khan since he already memorized the entire syllabus of their current topic for the whole semester, because of this, he just sat there, eyes closed as he used his visualizing technique and visualized several Runes with different elemental affinities overlapped together.
His uncaring attitude garnered the animosity of the other students who struggled in their studies and almost all of them tried their best to make things harder for Khan, particularly when the female teacher came inside the room, they would point their hands towards him and the former would ask Khan some questions, of which, the latter nonchalantly answered.
It was only after she asked fifty questions did her relentless attitude deflated as she stood there, staring at Khan as if he was some kind of an incomprehensible monster.
Meanwhile, the other students thoroughly scanned his body for devices that he could've used to cheat, but to their dismay, they found nothing and could only give up their quest.
Lily stared at this farce with a strange expression on her face, meanwhile, the girl that sat on her side, named as Daniela spoke up to her.
"Lily."
Lily startled and she turned at Daniela with a questioning expression, "What?"
The former revealed an ambiguous smile before saying, "Your man really is good, to think that he could easily answer all of the teacher's questions..." She chuckled, and her eyes narrowed as she said, "Didn't we promised last year that the first one to get a man would treat the other to a meal?"

In the face of her best friend's offensive, Lily was unable to refuse and could only inform Khan that she would come home late, and since her company was her best friend, Khan didn't refuse.
Soon, it was time for them to go home, but before he could walk towards the gates, he was grabbed by a plump student that wore an elated expression as he dragged Khan towards the side and said, "Bro! You must accompany us today or else you will regret it!"
Khan stared at the student and found that it was Bjorn that carried him to the side, his eyebrow lifted in curiosity as he replied, "What do you mean? Where are we going?"
Bjorn revealed an obscene smile and gestured towards him and the two walked together towards an old dilapidated building that was scheduled to be renovated, and when they entered, Khan found that the three, namely, Steven, Harry, and Chadwick huddled near each other and stared at a smartphone with gleaming eyes.
The two walked towards the huddled guys that didn't even notice their arrival and when the two arrived at the side, they stared at the smartphone and Khan frowned, for he saw a beautiful animated girl that stood on the podium, singing a joyful song with her body, moving around in a dance.
In each beat of the song, the guys would shake their heads in synchronization to the song, Khan found this scene, quite strange, but as he listened to the music and felt the positive vibe that it exuded, he became somewhat hooked and his head would subconsciously move, up and down according to the beat.
"パパとママにおやすみなさい" [Tell Mom and Dad, good night]
"せいぜい いい夢をみなさい" [Wish them sweet dreams, at least]
"大人はもう寢る時間よ" [ it's bedtime for grown-ups]
Although the singer sang a song in a language that he didn't understand, he still felt the positivity infused within the lyrics as he stood there, moving his right foot up and down along with his head to the beat.
Soon, the song came to an end and the four students heaved a sigh of satisfaction,
"Damn, Miku-chan really is the best for me..."
"Agreed..."
Steven spoke in a relaxed tone and the other students nodded their heads, at the side, Bjorn turned his attention towards Khan and said, "What do you think? She's quite good, right?"
Khan nodded his head before saying, "It was a good song, although I can't understand it, the vibe that emanated deeply imprinted itself within my heart. However," Khan frowned before continuing, "Why is she animated? I thought concerts would have a real person standing above the podium and singing...?"
The student, called Chadwick revealed a stunned expression before revealing a slight smile on his lips as he said, "Oh come on, bro, stop bamboozling us, don't tell us that you don't know anything about Virtual Idols, right?"
Khan's frown deepened upon this unfamiliar term and his mind, scoured his entire sea of memories but he was still unable to find any information related to those so-called Virtual Idols.
His expression revealed his ignorance towards the term, but instead of being disappointed, the four student's expression changed into solemness and the light within their eyes shone in reverence as one of them, namely Harry, flicked his wrist and said.
"Commence! Otaku enlightenment, process!"
"Yes, sir!"
The four scattered and prepared the paraphernalia that they needed to thoroughly engrave the doctrine of Otakuness towards Khan's heart, and to the latter's horror, he was forced to listen to a song about a flying cat with a rainbow tail for about thirty minutes before he was given the permission to hear the Goddess-like voice of their favorite Idol, Miku-Chan.
It was only until three hours did the four students stopped engraving their faiths towards Khan's mind as all of them dispersed, heading for their homes.
Meanwhile, a mentally exhausted Khan slowly walked towards the mansion, even with his strong mental strength, he still felt weak upon being forced to listen to such a horrendous song about a flying cat with a rainbow tail, his eyes, darted on his smartphone that he made sure to bring with him every day and found that it was about seven pm in the night.
But upon arrival, he was astonished to find that the two guards that guarded the mansion laid down near the gates, clearly unconscious and he swiftly inspected their figures and found that they only became unconscious due to shock.
Khan's expression turned solemn, as a terrifying premonition formed within his mind, his footsteps, heavy as he walked towards the dual-entry door and when he arrived before it, he noticed that the Control Panel was broken, and there was a clear sign that someone forcefully intruded.
His eyes scanned the area and found that it was eerily silent, despite the fact that the mansion was before a boisterous street, it was incomprehensible that someone didn't notice the commotion that would normally arise in a fight.
His gaze landed on the opposite street and found that it was void of people, yet according to his memories, the street was clearly filled with people that walked towards the nearby market, but when he arrived before the gates, the scene suddenly became quiet.
With a solemn expression, he flicked his wrist towards the skies followed by the materialization of a golden beam that soared towards the direction of his flick.
Normally, it would continue straight towards the sky, but this time, a dull sound echoed as if it struck an invisible wall which gradually cracked and dissipated into nothingness.
As the wall dome that covered the entire mansion vanished, the scene of the rowdy street returned and Khan's expression became icy-cold as he opened the dual-entry door.
With a creaking sound, the door revealed a miserable sight of destruction, everything, along with the reinforced walls wasn't left unscathed, Khan further inspected and found several claw marks that clearly belonged to someone that was special to him and at that moment, everything inside the mansion became icy cold.
An indescribable pressure manifested in the air, along with the materialization of a faint Asura that silently floated behind the youth that held a black letter in his hands. Tearing the letter, he read the contents then burned it into dust, his eyes, shone in an eerie crimson hue as his figure, vanished and reappeared in the air above the entire City of Muspelheim.
His gaze locked in a particular street block and whispered in a cold and merciless tone that condemned those that dared to harm the person that was close to him.
"There shall be a massacre, tonight."

The developers of the worlds leading VRMMORPG Edge Online have decided to shut down its servers after over a decade. Shugireth Darkstar, the leader of Pandemonium, Edge Online's top guild, suffers from a deadly disease and his end is near. He hasn't left his VR pod for 5 years, as the medical nanodroids at the hospital takes care of him. Without Edge, he will die, because his physical body has already been all but destroyed by the sickness. Seeing no light at the end of the tunnel, Shugireth Darkstar, the Master of Pandemonium, stubbornly stays behind as the servers shut down... If that was all, we could end this story right here. However, that was only the beginning of the legend of pandemonium. The prelude to the movement, if you will. Shall we see what happens next? -------------- Some notes from Me (The author, gasp surprise): I first wrote this (100k) as an experiment. I saw the advice about having foils for overpowered MCs, and I watched quite a few lectures on writing. I wanted to test things out for myself and see if I could carry a story through other ways than only relying on physical conflict like some thrillers do. Thus this might lean a bit towards slice of life with a romance subplot, but I don't want to give my story away so read it if u want to know more. This was basically never intended for anyone else's eyes but my own, and written to explore writing as a process. This wasn't my attempt at writing a good book, but it turned into something that I think might interest some people, so I decided to pop it up here. It is slightly old so my style and writing skills have advanced considerably since I first started this thing. Having said that, I think it's pretty readable, but I am very interested in how other people will receive this. Please feel free to criticize it and just in general shoot me some feedback on what you think. It contains light Litrpg elements, not heavy table spam, it's just the basis of the world. Although I like that sort of thing, this was written before I even knew of Royalroad and hadn't considered litrpg much. Some of you may recognize that it was slightly inspired by Overlord. Also, the Tags for sexual content and traumatizing content are there as a precaution on all of my stories pretty much, even if my story does not contain any of that at the moment. I can't really know what the future will bring, but in the case of this story I do know a little bit, since I wrote 100k words before posting it here. And I just posted it on a whim because I figured some readers on Royalroad might enjoy this story.
