"Just where did this kid, came from? Claiming to have the Goddess as his wife..."
"What a presumptuous bastard..."
"But wait, why does the Goddess look embarrassed instead of angry? Could it be that..."
"Oh, no, that's goddamned impossible, bro! How could the Goddess..."
Everyone in the vicinity fervently discussed, at first, all of them wore a look of disdain towards Khan, however, it transformed into doubt when they noticed that Lily wore an expression of utmost embarassment, slightly painted with joy.
The student who observed Lily all this while noticed this change, and the eyes that he directed at Khan became filled with an animosity that threatened to devour him alive.
'I have courted the Goddess for about two years already, and yet, he, a kid whose name I don't even know, actually made her this timid!' His thoughts condensed into an intangible pressure that formed in the atmosphere, silencing everyone who observed.
"Kid, mind having a match with me?" He spoke in a tone filled with confidence and invited Khan to an exchange of pointers.
Towards this, Khan revealed a slight smile, glanced at Lily before nodding his head,
"It's also what I wanted to begin with so, fine, Let's have a small match."
With their words of confirmation, everyone that stood around, immediately scattered backward, a light of expectations shining within their eyes as they stared at the two.
The student whose about a head bigger than Khan, observed him with a condescending light within his eyes, especially when he saw his body structure which didn't look like it could offer much strength in damaging him.
In contrast, when he took a stance, the muscles on his arms bulged, and it looked like it was on the brink of bursting from his clothes, his expression became grim and the light that came from his eyes turned fierce.
Dastard stared at this transformation and thought, 'Hmm, he can actually utilize the complete transformation of the Iron Body Method, with this, his flesh will become as hard as steel and his bones, unbreakable even with the weapons.'
Then his eyes, landed on Khan who stood there with a nonchalant expression, 'I wonder, just what he will do to counter this...'
Khan stared at his enemy and pondered, 'Mhmm, his fleshly body actually has the power of a peak Spirit Tempering Realm Practitioner, and it looks like his body arts method is related to strengthening his body...'
However, as he stared long enough, he soon shook his head, for he found, too many flaws regarding the art that his opponent utilized.
"Damn, it looks like there won't be much fun with this, that kid actually let the Vice-Captain use his Iron Body Arts!"
"Tcch, and here I thought that he is someone that could at least, contend with the Vice-Captain, but it looks like he's just here to make a fool of himself...'
The spectators at the side deduced Khan's imminent defeat judging from the imposing might that the Vice-Captain manifested.
However, what they didn't know was, the slender-framed Khan, was even more terrifying than their Vice-Captain.

"Kid, if you are not going to attack, then I'll do the job!" His figure blurred, reappeared beside Khan with his fist clenched together, stretched out in the air before sending a punch, directly towards Khan's right arm.
Khan stared at this scene with an incredulous light within his eyes, for the actions that his enemy did became incomprehensible to him, 'He didn't go for a head attack?'
But his flustered mind didn't last long, as his body, lightly leaped backward and easily evaded the punch. However, before he could land, his enemy had already sent a kick flying towards his left torso.
'Nice!' Khan honestly praised and with a twist of his body, he bent his knees and received his attack with both of his hands, and using the momentum of his enemy's attack, he twisted his feet and slammed him down on the ground.
"Guah!" A pain filled moan escaped from the Vice-Captain's mouth, as he didn't understand about why did the tables suddenly turned against him, especially when he struck Khan, he felt that all the force that he used on his kick, dissipated and was instead, used against him.
All of the spectators stared at this scene in silence, particularly Dastard whose expression changed from indifference into contemplation as he replayed the scene of Khan twisting the Vice-Captain's leg.
However, no matter how many times he replayed the scene, he was unable to find something off about it, instead, he found it to be even more natural.
He simulated in his mind and replaced the Vice-Captain's figure with himself, but to his dismay, he found that he would definitely suffer the same fate as the Vice-Captain.
"Hey, did you see that guy's attack, just now?"
"Yeah, I saw it, but it looked like a mirage to me..."
"It was as if... The Vice-Captain slammed his own body on the ground..."
The spectator's expression gaped, one of them even withdrew his smartphone and discreetly recorded the affair.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Captain already regained his footing and stood up, however, the shock he received from his sudden defeat still lingered on his expression as he became wary towards the slender-framed youth.
'It looks like I stumbled upon a hidden expert...' He inwardly thought and resolved himself as he took a defensive stance.
Khan stared at his opponent and inwardly thought, 'It seems like he's not that stupid than I thought...But sorry, since I'm here to exert my dominance, I will thoroughly defeat you.' A smile leaked on his lips and his figure, ran towards his opponent with his arms opened wide as if he wanted to embrace him.
But in the next instance, his two hands formed a fist and simultaneously struck towards his enemy which utilized his entire arm and blocked.
A sound of flesh hitting flesh echoed, a groan filled with pain emanated from his enemy's mouth and Khan revealed a slight smile before his figure vanished and reappeared behind his opponent with a palm strike on his back.
His unexpected disappearance startled the Vice-Captain and before he realized it, the youth reappeared on his blind spot and sent out a palm strike, sending him flying forwards towards the ground.

But without any hesitation, he immediately stood up, and this time, he took the initiative and sent a flurry of punches towards Khan's figure.
Seeing this frenzied attack, Khan only smirked and as if he was using hacks, skillfully evaded all the punches, before his hand, mysteriously appeared before the Vice-Captain's chest, sending a palm strike which almost made the latter, spit a mouthful of blood.
"Incredible..."
"What in the actual..."
The spectators, including Dastard, became even more flustered as they stared at the scene that transpired, and there was even a student who replayed everything with his smartphone, but he was disappointed to find that Khan's attacks looked like a blur of frames and wasn't even captured, properly.
Khan's focus landed on the student that laid on his back, huffing and puffing with his expression reddened in determination and a burning will that wanted to succeed.
Towards a person that doesn't know defeat or shame when it comes to battle, Khan really admired those people, for he knew that those kinds of people used their own efforts to achieve their current status.
A slight smile leaked on his lips and he said, "Do you want to know the reason why I defeated you?"
The Vice-Captain's expression startled, he urged his upper body and sat upright, a light of anticipation shone in his eyes, stunning the spectators that witnessed his sudden change of attitude.
"Wait... This is not in the script! The Vice-Captain should feel shame about his defeat and create more trouble towards that kid, yet, now. Why does he look like an obedient student that is about to listen to his teacher's lectures?"
Khan didn't mind the stares that descended on his body, even those that secretly recorded everything that he was about to say, for it lined up with his intentions.
"If I predicted it right, you used a Body Strengthening Art that had an affinity with metals, right?" Khan spoke in a carefree tone, under his scouring eyes and the near infinite knowledge that he has in his mind, a mere Iron Body Art technique couldn't escape his scrutiny.
'Eh? How does he know all of this?' the Vice-Captain had his doubts at first, but upon hearing what the youth said, he became convinced that he truly knew about the weaknesses of his technique and became even more eager to learn about how he could placate it.
It has to be known that even though a Body Strengthening Art only enhanced a person's body and didn't emanate any obvious signs of Qi, each of its strike will still leave an obvious trace, of which, an expert could easily comprehend.
Back then, when he received the Vice-Captain's kick with his arms, he felt a resounding dull sound that came deep within the former's bones, and that was the time where Khan became certain about the Arts that he utilized.
"First, I'll talk about the more obvious faults that you have, and that is, wrong placement of your body's center of gravity!" Khan's expression became solemn and he spoke with a harsh tone, "When you first attacked me with a kick, instead of balancing your center of gravity, you condensed it into the attack that you sent, forcing your body, to slightly tilt forwards, making it easier for me to counterattack and slam you down on the ground."
"Although infusing your body's power in an attack isn't bad, doing it without any backup plans is just asking to be killed, what if that was a life and death battle? I could've easily ended your life with a single strike!" He harshly scolded and the Vice-Captain became as meek as a rabbit as he sat there, his ears, blushing slightly in shame.
"Second, what in the actual fuck was that flurry of punches? Are you retarded? You didn't even properly measure the reach of your attacks, just how did you come to a conclusion that one of them can even hit my sleeve?"
"Third..."
Khan harshly berated, and he only stopped until he spoke at least fifteen flaws within the Vice-Captain's earlier attacks and when he finished his scolding, the spectators around stared at him with admiration and worship.
"Now go away and reflect upon your actions, I do hope that by the time that you challenged me again, it should also be the time where you're able to at least, correct most of your flaws!" He flicked his sleeve and the Vice-Captain timidly stood up, yet his expression transformed into utmost excitement as he rushed away, heading for the direction of the training grounds.
"Did he just..."
"Yeah..."
"He just lectured the Vice-Captain and transformed him into an obedient kid?!"
"And he actually found tens of flaws regarding the Vice-Captain's Body Arts..."
"Hey, bro, maybe I could try and step up to challenge him, and maybe he will give me some pointers."
"What the fuck, that's sneaky, bro! I came here first and observed at the side, it should be me in the front of the line!"
"Oh, fuck off, will you? It doesn't matter who arrived here first, what only matters is who's the one who created the line!"
The male students scrambled around and formed a single line towards Khan's direction, all of their expression revealed the anticipation that they had towards the young man's pointers, seemingly not minding that they were his seniors.
Khan stared speechless at the scene of his seniors lining up as if they're at the school's cafeteria, his eyes darted at Dastard who only smiled at him in return and finally at Lily who rolled her eyes towards his showing off.
'Well, I made the decision of creating an influence of my own... So I shouldn't really be so shabby about teaching these guys...' He inwardly thought and in this day forth, marked in history, the birth of the Ice and Fire Faction within the University of Modern Magic.

Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!
