《Ancient Cultivator in Modern World》Chapter 79: Freedom and Relief

With the death of the plump man, the Parasites attached in their body, simultaneously disintegrated, giving them the freedom that they wanted, but at the same time, they felt a sense of loss, for they don't know where they should go.
All of them were kidnapped by the plump man and his accomplices for about several years already and their parents should've already given up in finding them.
And knowing that a part of their bodies wasn't human anymore, they didn't know what to do as they plopped on the ground with blank lights within their eyes.
The girls that flooded the room, numbered at least fifty.
Khan's eyes shone in a light of sympathy, if the plump man didn't kidnap them from the place where they lived, they could've easily lived their life to the fullest and maybe, without any worries.
But from the time where their bodies became subject to the numerous horrendous experiments. They knew that all of them will forever be unable to return to their previous lives.
Khan sighed and attached a Marionette's String within their minds and prevented them from committing suicide.
He left the room and proceeded towards the amphitheater where hundreds of spectators stared in the air as if they lost their souls.
His eyes scoured the area and he knew that with a single thought, he could instantly erase them from existence. However, he still felt quite cautious about the following ramification and decided in just erasing all the memories that they had of today's events.
With a thought, a scarlet light shone between the space of their eyebrows, their eyes regained its clarity, yet they still moved simultaneously and in seemingly in a trance as they exited the building.
However, judging by the look of how they chatted towards each other, an average person wouldn't find anything odd apart from their blank and soulless eyes.
Soon enough, the amphitheater became empty and Khan returned to the room where the plump man's corpse was and upon arrival, he quickly siphoned the memories within his soul and the discovery that Khan received, startled him greatly.
"Experimental Theory on Increasing Soul Capacity by enhancing a person's physique through biotechnology."
"The Theory of Overlapping Runes with different elemental affinities."
He also received the knowledge that the plump man in breaking through the realm of a Platinum Class Magician and how he came to know about rearing Yin Accumulating Parasites.
But he wasn't interested towards that, instead. He walked and arrived before a door that said, [Room 404]
According to the memories that he received, this room contained most of their experimental subjects, and when Khan entered. He found hundreds of broken incubation tubes and the figures of numerous naked women whose age looked like they were in their late teenage years.
All of them had a blank expression suffused on their faces and they looked like as if they lost their souls.
Khan sighed, his mind quickly came to a decision as he ordered them all, to gather at the amphitheater.
Within several minutes, the amphitheater became filled with hundreds of stark naked ladies and their bodies, laid bare before Khan, yet the latter only maintained an indifferent expression.
Seeing that all of them already sat down, his palm stretched out and spoke a single word, which stirred the silent atmosphere into a ruckus.

"Undo."
In an instant, the light within their blank eyes returned, but their eyes, soon constricted as they noticed that they unknowingly arrived in an unfamiliar place.
But when their eyes focused on the single figure that stood on the podium and found that he was a man, their emotions blanked out and a single thought rose within their minds, 'Will I get violated, again?'
Khan noticed their depressed expressions, yet he could only deeply sigh. Although he could easily erase the bad memories that had, but the experiences, deeply imprinted within their soul will never be dissipated.
He took a deep breath and exclaimed, "Everyone!"
The figures of the women startled and started to visibly shake as all of them pushed their bodies to the limit and lined up, their faces, void of any emotion as they could easily predict the outcome that they would suffer.
Why struggle when it is already inevitable? All of them had this thought.
One of the women, whom Khan recognized as the Champion at the Octagon matched that he witnessed earlier, went inside the Octagon first and when she arrived, she immediately laid down, spread her legs apart and closed her eyes all the while gritting her teeth.
She resolved herself in satisfying the young man that stood before her so that he wouldn't have it in his mind to touch her other sisters.
The expressionless young women's eyes became somewhat moisty as they stared at this sight, all of them clenched their fists together, yet they knew that with the Parasite within their bodies, the young man could easily kill them all together if they rebelled.
Khan's revealed a weird light and he awkwardly rubbed his nose, "You can stand up, I'm not going to do anything with all of you..."
The young woman that laid on the Octagon became startled, however, she still didn't stand up, who knows if the young man had a fetish that was weird enough to the extent that she didn't understand.
Noticing that the young woman's figure still laid on the ground. Khan sighed and spoke in a tone which clearly echoed around the dimly lit amphitheater.
"Listen, from now on, all of you are free. The Parasites implanted within your bodies by that bastard are already dead along with him." He revealed an awkward smile for saying heartfelt words wasn't really his forte.
"Free...?"
"We're all free...?"
The young women looked at each other and focused their concentration in their lower abdomen as tears streamed down their cheeks and their figures, simultaneously erupted into a crying fit.
Their cries became a symphony which completely filled the entire amphitheater. For although their bodies were developed, because of their imprisonment, their minds were still as fragile, and this scene was something that Khan had expected.
However, witnessing their cries of relief, he still felt that his eyes became somewhat moisty as he murmured to himself, 'This carefree life really made me soft...' He revealed a slight smile, 'Not that I dislike it, though.'
The volume of their symphony gradually increased, until it became as silent as the vacuum of space. For all of them realized something grave, now that the person who kidnapped us is dead, Where should we go?

This questioned that lingered in their mind became the shackle which constricted their souls as their expressions once again became filled with utmost despair.
Return back to our families? That's not even a choice, with our soiled and violated bodies, will they even accept us? And since a part of us is not even human anymore, will we still have our place in society?
Their relieved cries became a despairing sob as all of them drowned their worries in a sorrowful cry.
Khan didn't interrupt them, he just stared at the sight with a cold and indifferent look suffused on his visage.
Interrupting someone that was venting his or her stress is something that should not be done if you do not want them broken.
Meanwhile, he utilized his soul as a connection and contacted Azrael and explained the situation that transpired, "And so, Azrael, Since all of them do not have their homes anymore, I will be leaving them to your care..."
"Make sure that you welcome them greatly for all of them bears a huge mental burden..." He whispered and an olden, hoarse voice confirm over the transmission.
With this, the matter of housing these girls were considered as over. However, it would be up to them if they will take the offer or not.
His eyes darted around and found that they already finished their venting, but a light of deep despair and coldness shone within their eyes.
"I won't say any heartfelt words towards you all cause I'm not really good at it, but I'll give you all two choices..." Khan's solemn tone rang out, and their figures, startled as their gazes focused on Khan.
Despite the hundreds of cold gazes that landed on his body. Khan remained his unyielding and stoic expression and spoke, "One is, I can heal your bodies and have all of you return to where you came from..."
The young women gasped in surprise, but before they could cause a ruckus, the young man continued.
"The second choice is, I can help you all, live a new life without being discriminated against, due to your dark pasts and the modifications that were done to your body." His confident and reliable tone kindled a light of hope within the young women's eyes. Especially when they noticed that his eyes didn't have any ill-intent within it.
Just pure sympathy and altruism.
"But in the end, even if I'm saying something like this, the answer will still be yours to choose..." He took a deep breath and said in a resonating tone, "Let's just keep this simple and do the decision making like this."
"If you chose the second answer, raise your hand, and if not, do not raise your hands, simple ri-" He revealed a slight smile, but before he could complete his sentence, all the girls already had their hands up in the air, stretching it as far as they could, afraid that Khan wouldn't notice their decision.
"Good, then I'll have you meet with a friend of mine..." Khan chuckled, his hand ripped a hole in the space as a Spatial Tear that threatened to devour everything manifested in the air before him, shocking the women as their figures, visibly trembled.
"See? I'm quite powerful, right?" His eyes slightly narrowed and he continued in an imposing tone, "If I've wanted to, I could easily annihilate all of you..."
His threat made some of the women literally plop on the ground as they fell on their butts. However, a person, one that Khan referred to as the Champion, shouted.
"Sisters! Please calm down! I guarantee you that this man will never do anything to us!" The woman who spread her legs earlier had already stood up, her expression relentless amidst the pressure that Khan emanated as she spoke in a convincing voice.
Due to the horrifying experiences that they were subjected to, most of them still looked unconvinced, while Khan, who observed at the side, revealed snickered, "It looks like some of them can still think, logically."
The woman referred to as the Champion took a deep breath and said, "If he really wanted us to die, he could easily do that with his strength, yet why did he go so far as to coax us to calm down if, in the end, he's just going to kill us?" Her tone clearly echoed amidst the silent hall and her words struck a chord that resonated amongst the women.
They exploded into a commotion, expressing their doubts towards the legitimacy of Khan's claims, yet none of them bravely stepped forward for fear of Khan instantly annihilating them.
Noticing this, The Champion's eyes landed on Khan, and the latter gave a helpless smile before saying, "I know that all of you has your own doubts, however, if you don't take that single step and decide what you're going to do with your life, how can you move forward?"
This time, his tone void of any indifference, instead, he spoke in an inviting tone which captivated most of the girls as all of them nodded their heads.
Soon enough, the Spatial Tear that Khan opened became big enough that it could fit at least five person's width.
On the other side, a luxurious hall could be seen, which stunned the girls for it was the first time for them to see such a sight.
All of them walked towards the Spatial Tear and was greeted by the figure of a kind old man who wore a pure white robe which revealed a gentle towards them.
His hand flicked as the bodies of the women shone in a golden light and when it dissipated, their naked bodies became covered with an elegant robe, and a tiara on their heads, giving them the feeling of being a princess or a queen.
The absolutely sublime and phenomenal sensation of relief that coursed through their bodies accompanied by the years of terror and despair that they felt all of these years, made them cry their hearts out in relief.
Azrael and Khan's gaze stared at this sight, and the two of them, simultaneously sighed, sending all of their complicated emotions, wafting in the air.
