Towards the admirations that bathed his body, Khan didn't really feel that much different, back then, he basked in the numerous worshipping gazes of the entire planet itself.
However his indifference to this matter earned him the irritated gazes of the envious male members of the classroom, he felt a nudge on his shoulder and turned to look back, only to find a young man with jet-black hair smiling at him and saying, "Bro, you're goddamned awesome, you actually made her surrender! How are you even here?"
His suspicions towards Khan's matter wasn't unwarranted, for his prowess really didn't belong in this classroom, Lily heard their conversation and chimed, "That's because we weren't able to attend the exam..." He spoke in a hushed and embarrassed tone.
"Really? How could you miss the exam..."
"Yeah, we really did, and because of that, we had no choice but to take the Specialized Examination, " Lily replied, the young man's gaze landed on her shoulders and exclaimed,
"Woah, you're actually a member of the Close Combat Club?" He felt quite shocked, for it was strange for a woman to enter a Club that specialized in close quarters battle.
"Mhmm, even though I look like this, I'm quite strong." Lily leaked a smile and exaggeratedly flexed her arm, causing a small bulge to rise, the young man chuckled, "You're really interesting, My name is Cruhorn Greid, nice to meet you." He extended his hand in a gesture.
Lily revealed a smile and replied his gesture in kind,
"Also, Brother Expert, what's your name?" Cruhorn turned his attention towards the Khan who was observing at the side, Upon hearing the words, 'Brother Expert' Khan almost choked on his own saliva.
Clearing his throat, he said, "My name is Khan Liverto, nice to meet you." His hand extended, Cruhorn only smiled, but didn't return his gesture, Khan's eyebrows locked, of which Cruhorn noticed as he jokingly said, "I only shake hands with women." He even winked at Khan which made the latter have the urge to punch his smug face.
Cruhorn didn't mind Khan's presence and proceeded to talk with Lily, "Little Miss, I still haven't heard your name, though..."
Lily's expression froze, she revealed an awkward smile before staring at the ground, looking all fidgety, "Hmmm? What's wrong?" Cruhorn threw a confused gaze and tried to stare at her hidden expression.
"L-l-Lily..." She spoke, her tone barely audible.
"I see, so your name is Lily? Surname?"
"L-l-Liverto..." She replied, her tone becoming even quieter than before.
A light bulb lit within Cruhorn's mind as he spoke, "Ah! So the two of you are siblings! Doesn't really look like that, though..." A suspecting light shone within his eyes as he compared the visages of the two.
"Nope, we're not blood-relatives, she's my wife." Khan nonchalantly spoke, but he didn't realize that his sentence became a beacon in the dark amidst the silenced classroom, in an instant, the world inside the room became silent as if time had stopped.
The gazes of the male students simultaneously condensed into a spear that pierced through Khan as they repeatedly murdered him in their minds, the girls' expressions were the most desolate, they looked like their toys were stolen under their watch.

The most shocked of them all was the teacher, her lips repeatedly twitched as his trembling finger lifted and pointed at Khan, "W-w-w-what did you just... say?!" She screamed, sending everyone around into an icy cavern as cold sweats ran through their backs.
For their teacher would certainly get triggered if marriage was mentioned.
She didn't believe it at first but after seeing Lily's flushed expression, her world seemed to collapse as she immediately flipped through the School Records and investigate their names, there, she really found that the two were married.
The age of consent in this world was sixteen years old, and the age of the two was seventeen, however, even though they had enough qualifications to marry, that doesn't mean that their mindset was ready.
She calmed herself down, stared at the two, particularly at Khan with a solemn gaze,
"After-school, Staff Room." She left this words as the bell that signified the end of the morning classes, Khan and Lily scanned through their student load and found that they didn't have anything to do, other than club activities for the next two hours.
Cruhorn regained his bearing, and the gaze that he looked at Lily changed into that of neutrality as he spoke, "By the way, Khan, what is your specialized course?"
"Specialized Course? Isn't it, here?" Khan gestured at the insignia on his shoulders.
"Not that! I mean, even though that can also be considered as specialized, what I mean is the core! Like, Magic Engineering or Programming." Cruhorn explained.
Towards these unfamiliar words, Khan threw a confused expression, while Lily chimed in at the side, "The two of us are members of the Rune Creation or Magic Programming." She gave a small smile, before gesturing towards Cruhorn that they'll be leaving for the Magic Programming room.
As they walked towards their destination, Khan frowned and spoke, "How did I get into the Rune Creation? The examination that I took was Close Quarters Combat, though."
Lily crossed her arms together and smugly said, "Hmmph! You really underestimate me, I have too many connections within this school that I can make anyone! Dance on my palm!"
"Connections, you mean, the Sect Master?"
"Urghhh..." Lily felt defeated.
The two walked for a while before they arrived at a door with a plaque over it that said, [Magic Programming Room] Lily took her exclusive pass and swiped at the Control Panel at the side followed by a mechanical voice that said, "Identity Confirmed, Lily Liverto."
Lily entered the room first, followed by Khan who also swiped his exclusive pass, inside the room, they saw several high-end types of equipment used in Rune Creation and Magic Engineering, but to Khan, all of them looked unfamiliar.
Lily leaked a joyful smile that she even hummed and sat in a cubicle with a computer before her. Her hands moved, booted the computer and within three seconds, the computer was ready to use.
Khan stared at the computer and scanned through his memory banks to look for any information about it, however, he was disappointed to find that unless he learned about it, or once again enter the Great Library at the Divine Pills Sect, he wouldn't have any information regarding the device.

He chose the latter, after all, having your the power of your soul siphoned from your body was an unpleasant feeling.
"Hoooh... So the two of you are the new members?" A coquettish tone echoed, Lily and Khan turned their eyes towards the source and found a scantily dressed young woman standing. Her eyes glued, particularly at Khan.
"Hey, you big boy... Want to have some fun?" She spoke, her tone clearly enunciated as she sneaked past Khan and poked his chest.
Khan regained his composure as he felt Lily's piercing gaze, he stared at the woman before him and inwardly cursed, 'Damn, what a vixen!'
"Hahahaha" She chuckled, "Okay, I'll stop teasing you, then, since the two of you are new members here, you guys should know that we don't accept just about anyone, right?"
Her tone suddenly became solemn, her gaze transformed into a grim light.
"What I want you guys to do is simple, create a simple rune, that's it."
"Okay, then." Lily nodded her head and got to work, leaving Khan standing there without any clue about what he should do, his ignorance made the woman's eyebrows raise as she said, "What are you standing there for? Get to work."
"Ermmm..." Khan revealed an awkward smile, "Can you give me a pen and paper?"
His following words astounded the woman, the gaze that she used to stare at Khan became filled with slight admiration as well as suspicions, "Could it be that you have more experience in creating Runes using pen and paper?"
Creating Runes using Pen and paper was made possible by using a Rune Scanner, however, it was deemed to be much harder than ascending the heavens itself, for a slight misstep in writing a certain part of the Rune could throw all your efforts into the trash.
However, it was another story if you use a computer to write, for you can just click the undo button and your mistake would disappear.
Looking at Khan's eyes that didn't seem to lie, she sighed before taking a pen and paper from the cabinet, but as soon as Khan received the pen, and paper and laid in on the table, the light in his eyes changed, his awkward expression disappeared, replaced by a focused one.
His hands traced circles in the air before disappearing towards the paper in a flash, his movements fluid and without waste as he wrote the foundation of the Rune, not even ten seconds had passed and Khan already was at the second Phase of the Rune.
'H-h-he's fast!' A light shone within the woman's eyes, her gaze stared at the Rune and Khan, back and forth as she couldn't believe that such a scene was happening before her.
For writing a Rune wasn't as simple as drawing a circle, each part of the Rune should be symmetrical and the mark of Ink shouldn't differ from each other, however, Khan did just that as if it was a daily habit for him.
'if I was the one doing that... It would take me twenty minutes to write the foundation alone, yet, he didn't even take a minute... What a God!' Admiration burst forth from her eyes, however, she still felt uncertain towards the result, if Khan actually succeeded to make a Rune, but it couldn't be scanned by the Rune Scanner, all of his efforts would be void.
"Done!" Before she could catch her breath, Khan gave a slight smile and spoke, she immediately snatched the paper and ran towards the nearby Rune Scanner, connected it to a computer and a Decipherer.
"It's actually working!" She couldn't but exclaiming, disturbing Lily who frowned and turned around to take a look at the ruckus, however, she didn't feel as shocked as the woman for she already knew about Khan's prowess when it comes to Rune Creation and so, she returned back to her work.
By now, the woman had already equipped her Decipherer and tapped as a surge of Mana flowed from her body towards the Decipherer, a small Rune materialized in the air before her palm as she pointed at a training dummy.
A burst of flames materialized around the training dummy and engulfed it in its blazing flames, the woman's eyes became filled with utmost admiration that she almost wanted to leap towards Khan's arms, but seeing Lily's threatening gaze, she stopped that thought and instead, said, "It really is exhausting to use a Rune created with Ancient Methods, let me rework it for a bit." She walked towards the nearby computer, connected the Decipherer and opened an application filled with innumerable words that looked gibberish to Khan.
Her hands that floated above the keyboard danced as rhythmic tapping sounds echoed in the air, Khan stared and somewhat felt amazed even though he had no idea about what she was doing, in about five minutes, the woman stood up, pulled the cable that connected the Decipherer and Computer and once again cast the Rune.
Khan's eyes constricted as he stared at the information that he found within the materialized Rune, for the instructions about the Mana consumption that he wrote lessened to a considerable degree, to the point that a normal human could cast it.
He threw a light filled with admiration, and the two stared at each other with the same light in their eyes, Lily abruptly stood up, pinched Khan's waist and said, "Hmmph! You actually have the guts to flirt, right under my eyes."
"Hahaha..."' The woman chuckled, "Are the two of you, lovers?"
"I'm his wife!" Lily declared without shame as she felt her pride as a woman being threatened under the woman's pressure.
"Hoooh... So that's how it is..." The woman's eyes shone in a light with complicated emotions, meanwhile, Khan had already stacked several books on the table that he took at the bookshelves.
A zealous light filled his eyes as an ambition filled his mind,
"I'm gonna become a Magic Engineer!"

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
