Without knowing about the passing of time, Khan slowly opened his eyes, he felt a soft pressure from his left arm and there, he found Lily sleeping while hugging his arm, a faint green light would pulsate from her hands which would flow in his body.
Enjoying the refreshing feeling that came from Lily's ability, Khan just laid there, facing the unfamiliar ceiling. The ceiling didn't look as luxurious as before, evidently, they were in a different room.
A sound of a door unlocking could be heard, followed by the figure of the Sect Master carrying a bowl of congee. Khan saw his exhausted complexion and couldn't help but feel a bit guilty.
At the fight, Khan was determined not to lose, but the price that he had to pay was the worsening of his internal injuries, although the Yin-yang Assimilation Method that he cultivated with Lily somehow healed his soul, thanks to his overexertion, all the benefits he had gained was lost, and he looked even worse than before.
However, he didn't regret anything, for as long as he proved himself to have the capability to take Lily for his own, he wouldn't regret any actions that he would take.
The smell of the aromatic congee woke the slumbering beauty, she delightfully cried when she saw Khan's smiling figure, "Why do you always have to force yourself..."
Khan felt the bottled up frustrations that Lily had, thanks to the Nature Dragon's unreasonable supportive capabilities, the heavens had to compensate them by lowering their offensive abilities, thus, although Lily wanted to fight, she knew that she would just become an inconvenient baggage.
The Sect Master sighed, he also felt a huge amount of regret by letting his injured Disciple fight a peak Divine Soul Realm practitioner, but at the same time, he felt extremely surprised about Khan's capabilities.
Although he had an inkling about his true strength, he didn't expect it to be that ridiculous, for no matter where it would be exceptionally rare to find a young man as young as Khan that could fight fairly with a powerhouse.
Placing the bowl of congee near a wooden table, the Sect Master said, "The of us inspected your body and found that your body is slowly breaking down, dried-out meridians, a withered Dantian, and a severely injured soul, those injuries are enough to kill a normal person, yet, you..."
Khan gave an awkward smile, towards this matter, he really has nothing as an excuse, Khan moved his hand and took the bowl of congee from the table, however, the Sect Master swiftly moved and removed the bowl from his hands.
"This is not for you... This is for Lily..." The Sect Master solemnly said. Khan threw a look of confusion, prompting the Sect Master to explain, "Don't even try to fool me, I know that even now, you're feeling a huge amount of pain, right?"
Lily's eyes widened, her eyes moistened as she stared at Khan whose expression froze.
"What are you saying? No, I'm not really feeling any pain." Khan returned a smile, he petted Lily's head assuring her that he's fine.

"Not feeling any pain? Have you looked at yourself in a mirror? Right now, your body is feeling a great amount of pain and stress that it's relieving some of it by excessive sweating... I bet your back is completely drenched, right now."
Lily stood up, she took a look at Khan's back and found that his clothes were completely drenched like he just came out of a bath.
"Also, your pupils are extremely dilated, that's a good sign that you're enduring an extreme amount of pain... Seriously, sometimes I even wonder how you could endure such hellish pain and without any medications at that..."
By this time, Lily had already erupted into tears, she embraced Khan and cried while repeatedly saying sorry. Khan only gave a smile that hid all of his complicated emotions.
The Sect Master glanced at the two before he continued, "And also, what cultivation method are the two of you, doing?"
Khan startled, he glanced at the Sect Master and tried to find any indications if he was joking, but sure enough, he wasn't, his face looked grim and after about five seconds of waiting, he said, "It must be the Yin-yang Assimilation Method, right?"
Lily removed her face from Khan's chest and looked at the Sect Master, her face covered in snot and tears, prompting Khan to chuckle as he used his clothes to wipe her face.
"I suggest that you guys should stop cultivating that method, especially, you, Khan." the Sect Master's eyes flashed with deep seriousness, his tone domineering as if he didn't want a No as an answer.
Khan looked the Sect Master's solemn expression and sighed, he held Lily's hand and said, "Sect Master, since you're the one who saved her, you should know about her Extreme Yin and Yang Physique, right?"
The Sect Master nodded.
"Then, you should also know that the Yin-yang Assimilation Method the safest method to suppress her physique and keep her talent in cultivation, right?"
He once again nodded in approval.
"Then, why should we stop? If it's something that could help ease the pain in her body, why should I?"
The Sect Master sighed, he spoke, this time his tone, filled with incomparable anger.
"Are you really that desperate to save her to the point that you're going to throw your life away?" Lily's grip on Khan's hand became stronger, her figure visibly trembled.
"Do you really think that she would like to live in a world, without you?"
'Do you really think that she would feel happy seeing the person that she loves sacrificing himself for her own good?"
"No! She won't!"
"In each day, and each time that you spend to cultivate the Yin-yang Assimilation Method with her, she knows that you're destroying your body for her own sake, but what could she do? She doesn't know what to do, Khan, that's why she's hesitating whether to stop or not!"
"If you decide to continue, she will continue, but in every moment you spend in circulating that Yin-yang Assimilation bullshit, she will feel an incomparable amount of guilt, do you really feel happy about that?"

"Is that what you want her to feel?"
the Sect Master's words pierced through Khan's heart, ever since that fateful day, this was the first time that his emotions became tremendously disordered.
Lily stared at Khan, she once again sobbed and repeatedly asked for forgiveness, Khan rubbed her head, his eyes becoming somewhat misty as he murmured, "It's fine, it's not your fault, it's the heavens fault for giving you such a cruel curse..."
Even the Sect Master at the side couldn't control the fluctuations in his emotions as he stared at the two, hints of tears, threatened to spill from his eyes.
"The Extreme Yin and Yang Physique, one of the rarest physiques in the world, but also one of the most brutal, especially on females... The person's physique will forcibly gather all the Yin and Yang in the air and converge it in their bodies."
"Thanks to the extreme difference between the two, they would fiercely clash and if untreated, the outcome of the person can only be imagined..."
"Yin-yang Assimilation Method, a method specifically created for those who have the Extreme Yin and Yang Physique, it is a dual cultivation method and requires a person of the Extreme Yang Physique to succeed."
"The method works by having the male siphon the excessive Yang within the female's body through intercourse, but at the same time, the siphoned Yang would ravage the male's body, and the method will only work if the female's partner was her first man... It would never work with another male..."
"Despite all of that, you're still willing to endure just for the sake of someone you loved... Haaah..." the Sect Master turned around and wiped something on his face, he once again faced the couple before speaking.
"I understand your circumstances, but if this continues, it would just be a matter of time before Khan dies..."
"Lily... Do you want that to happen?"
"Of course not! I don't want that... Khan's the only... Khan's the only person who understood me all this time... He's... He's the only one that I have..."
The Sect Master sighed, his eyes shone with a light of resolve.
"I understand, now I know about just how far will the two of you go for the sake of love..." His eyes became filled with a hint of melancholy as he remembered a figure that he always longed for within his mind, at the same time, his expression revealed a pained look that only he could understand.
Seeing his expression, Khan thought in his mind, 'Perhaps, did the Sect Master had someone whom he loved? If so, where is she...'
"Now that I understand that the two of you are completely sincere to each other, I will try my best to help you..." Khan's eyes glittered, however, he also felt suspicious for his vast knowledge that spanned a hundred thousand years didn't tell him that there was another alternative.
"Yeah... The truth is, the Divine Pills Sect is deeply researching on that matter, and for the past millennium, we found a suitable cure, I recently just confirmed effectiveness but I'm completely confident with it."
Lily's sobbing stopped, her eyes became filled with the light of hope as she stared at the Sect Master.
Khan thought, 'So that's the reason why...If they recently just found a solution, then it's no wonder that I didn't know anything...'
"Then, what's the cure?" Khan asked, his tone became filled with incomparable excitement.
"Simple, you just have to transfer the Yang Energy towards an object that could hold it!" Towards this simple answer, Khan almost stumbled down, however, at the same time, his eyes also glowed in enlightenment.
"How come that I didn't think of this before?! But wait... I need a vessel that could contain such a vast amount of heat energy..."
the Sect Master predicted his thoughts and flicked his wrist, as several jade bottles fell towards the table.
Khan stared at the contents and exclaimed, "Pill Cases?!"
"Yep! You just need to infuse the Yang Energy that you siphoned towards this special Pill Cases..."
"Special Pill Cases?"
"Yeah, I made those cases using several natural gelling agents and adding some medicinal herbs with good Yang Affinity... So that the raging Yang will think of those cases as a suitable habitat and would calm down."
The Sect Master's cure felt incredulous, but was actually feasible, back then, several Pill Grandmasters had tried concocting earth shattering pills just to placate the berserk energies within a person's body, yet the answer was actually this simple... Khan gave a crooked smile, he took the jade bottles and glanced at Lily.
the Sect Master at the side noticed that the atmosphere was starting to get weird and coughed, "I'm sorry to say this but, Khan! You're severely injured yet, you're still having those lecherous thoughts! Go back to sleep!"
the Sect Master flicked, throwing a burst of Qi toward Khan's neck, sending him unconscious. Lily glanced at the Sect Master with confusion painted on her face, "I'm just worried whether he'll be able to control himself..." He stood up, and whispered as he left, "I wonder, just how did that bastard have such a gorgeous child..."
The door slammed shut, leaving the furiously blushing Lily inside the room. She glanced at Khan, a charming smile suffused on her face, she stood up and embraced his body as she also left for her dreams.
Back at the City of Valencia, a huge troop of demi-humans could be seen, their footsteps, heavy, as the land trembled in each movement, the members of the Bear Race could only shiver in fear as they retreated back to the center of the city and could only watch as the Lion Race encircled the entire Valencia.
Within the troops, a middle-aged man with a magnificent golden armor stood, a cold smile permeated his face as his eyes scoured through the entire city. His mouth opened and spoke with a tone filled with incomparable coldness and brutality.
"You're not getting away, Little Lizard..."

The Granddaughter of Time
Teresa Hargrove was okay with giving up. She knew the Earth was doomed and there was nothing to be done about it. What she was not okay with was the Future, an enigmatic woman nearly fanatical in her devotion to making a difference, dragging her along — seemingly, to prove her wrong. It turns out though that the Future is very hard to understand. This story contains heavy themes, including mental illness, existential crisis and death. However, I still tried to eventually convey a message of hope. Several mythical and metaphorical beings in the shape of humans will appear in most chapters. However, they are not meant to be of a specific ethnicity or social background and are instead perceived differently by people around them. For your reading pleasure, feel free to imagine them any way you’d like, even if your imagination contradicts descriptions from the story. Enjoy!~

A Fool's Journey, or the Vagrancies of a Man in Exotic Lands
What does a sad bastard do when fate, literally, decides to throw him into a fantasy world? Solon just wanted to lead a normal life; work, share some pizza with friends, work, play some videogames or read something, work, maybe sleep?, work... Pretty much the usual, rinse and repeat. It was far from perfect, but life was nicely boring and comfy enough. Truth be told, he had hoped it would go on forever, or until he got married, or until the apocalypse finally decided to bring an end to everything. As far as he could tell, though, the former was about as likely as the latter; not very. And perhaps even somewhat related, if it ever came to it. Unfortunately, he saw himself involved in some sort of cosmic fart that screwed him over, brutally severing his life-plan. Or, maybe, would it be more suitable to say that Fate had other plans? Sure, he's yet to find out exactly what those plans might be, but, at the very least, they do seem to involve him being shoved into another world, fighting off a couple of horrendous creepers, and -almost- an accidental liaison with a baboon. Needless to say, the job doesn't come with dental care, and death seems more likely than retirement... Yep, when he got yoinked out of Earth, there were no princesses waiting for him, no sexy goddesses, and no severe Gandalf-wannabes! Heck, not even a bunch of demonic cultists! All he got for the trouble was a bunch of snarky windows and the honest desire to punch whatever bastard happens to be behind the smug System. Well, that, and a few forced trips to the so-called Tower of Ascension. Not exactly what he would have expected but, on the plus side, he does get to do some magic. Though, not quite the wand-waving kind. Whatever. One thing’s patently clear, though, he’s certainly not the chosen one, nor the summoned hero, nor the Savior. If anything, he himself might be in need of some saving... Just what kind of fool does the System take him for? Please do consider the tags. Also, 'Strong Lead' here means weak to strong, over a decent amount of time, not op from the very beginning. Things to expect: decent grammar, cheeky goats. Things not to expect: Harems, a decent sense of fashion.
