They later arrived before a dilapidated house, the old man tapped on the Decipherer on his wrist, a burst of Rune flew towards the door, followed by an intangible barrier dissipating.
"Let's go." The Sect Master gestured, the two nodded their heads, as they entered, Khan's eyes flickered, he briefly glanced behind before entering the house.
"Hoooh, if this isn't the Headmaster of the glorious University of Modern Magic? What makes you set foot in such a shithole like this place?" A hooded man spoke with a hoarse voice, he sat on a rocking chair, his arms crossed together and his lips revealed a small smile.
"Hmmph, If this direct disciple of mine didn't request me too strongly, I wouldn't even set foot in this place!" The Sect Master snorted, he took several folded papers from his pocket and spread them all on the table.
"I'm just gonna inquire if you guys still have these herbs..." The hooded man rose, momentarily glancing on the drawn pictures, he sat back down and indifferently said, "If you came here several days earlier, you could have obtained these herbs, but now, sorry, but I already delivered them to the Continent of Pride."
Khan gasped, "How many stalks did you send?"
The hooded man looked at him for a moment before saying, "Five stalks."
The Sect Master interrupted at the side, "Is there a way for us to intercept the package?"
The hooded man's eyes flickered with an interesting light towards the Sect Master's attitude, he pondered for a moment before saying, "Unfortunately, the consignee requested an Express Delivery. You do know how fast the drones are, these days..."
The Sect Master sighed, he turned towards Khan and shrugged. The latter nodded his head, 'I didn't really expect that much, but just knowing that they still exist is enough...'
"Hmm, but what coincidence, the Continent of Pride, eh..." The Sect Master murmured, prompting Lily to turn her head towards the Sect Master, complicated emotions filled her complexion, Khan noticed this aberrance and said, "Now that I think about it, Lily. Your homeland was on the Continent of Pride, right?"
"Yeah, it is..."
"Then it's decided, In the future, I will go to that Continent and officially ask for your hand in marriage..." Khan cheekily said, but his words made the emotions that surged in Lily become even worse.
The Sect Master who stood at the side said, "Since the two of you are basically a couple, Khan. You do know about Lily's circumstances, right?"

Khan nodded in response, the Sect Master thought for a moment before continuing, "Right now, Lily is being searched by almost the entire continent's population, that place is the homeland of all demihuman races."
"I see, so those sick cats are also there..." Khan didn't even bother to lower his tone as he said, the Sect Master at the side could only wryly smile towards Khan's impudence, 'If those guys heard of you telling them that they were a race sick cats, I wonder what kind of reaction they will have...'
"Now that I think about it, one of our affiliate sects, the Divine Dragon Sect is also located at that continent..." He said in an indifferent tone, but hearing these words, Khan and Lily's figure uncontrollably trembled, evident on his face the intense surge of emotions that he felt.
"Hmm? What's wrong with you? Khan?" The Sect Master also turned his eyes towards Lily and found that she also trembled, but the emotions that she had, ran contrary to what Khan felt.
Khan took a huge breath, he adjusted the state of his mind and asked, "Is there any way for me to arrive on the Continent of Pride as soon as possible?"
The Sect Master threw a confused look, Lily wore a worried expression as she clutched Khan's wrist.
"Khan, I don't think that you should..."
"No- It's not just the matter between us... I have an extremely important matter to confirm as soon as possible." Khan's eyes shone with a determined light, 'No matter what, I will unravel the reason about my sect's destruction!'
"Yeah, there's a fast way to arrive at the Continent of Pride, but what about your studies? And also, her..." The Sect Master turned a solemn gaze towards Lily. The latter only stood there, clenching her small fists.
"I don't think that I need to tell you about the consequences of bringing her, there. If she's with you, you will face endless trouble."
"I know, but I still need to bring her, it's not just for my own self-satisfaction, but also for her." Khan glanced at Lily for a moment before continuing.
"I don't want her to always run away from her past, I want her to face it with her head raised and me beside her." Khan declared, although inside, he felt incomparable embarrassment, 'Damn I actually did it! Damn it, damn it, damn it, someone dig a hole for me to dive in!'

Lily who stood behind him revealed the most beautiful smile that she ever unveiled, unfortunately, the poor Khan was unable to bathe in its glory.
"Fine, since you're that desperate to find those herbs and to reach that Divine Dragon Sect, I shall let you, but with the condition that I'll go with you." The Sect Master smiled, Khan didn't retort, for the Sect Master's proposal was reasonable, having a peak Divine Ascendance bruiser on their side was something that they wished for, for the least, they won't have any trouble reaching the Divine Dragon Sect.
"As for your studies, I'll postpone it for now, but when we return, you must attend all the classes for seven days a week."
The two nodded almost immediately, The Sect Master turned towards the hooded man, he tapped on his wrist as a stream of golden runes flew towards the latter.
The latter received the runes, before nodding his head.
"Let's go." The Sect Master gestured and the two left the dilapidated house, as they strolled back towards the mansion, Khan found an intriguing issue within the Sect Master's body.
"Sect Master, Why are not making a breakthrough for the Divine Emperor Realm? I can feel that your body is overflowing with Qi if you don't try that breakthrough you may do more harm than good."
The Sect Master bitterly chuckled, he pointed towards the skies and said, "Do you see that? that steel beam looking thing." Khan followed and indeed, he saw a huge black object floating beside the moon.
"That's one of the most advanced technology, that mankind ever created, it has the power to control weather phenomena."
"It can control the weather itself?" Khan's eyes widened as he seemed to realize something crucial towards the mystery of how did the power levels in the Divine Pills Sect degraded.
"You do know that in each realm ascension, a tribulation cloud would form and strike us with tribulation lightning, right?"
Khan nodded in an instant. The Sect Master bitterly smiled, "and in each time our tribulation clouds are formed, that thing above the skies would forcefully disperse it, leaving our bodies untempered by tribulation lightning."
"Although we succeeded, we really won't feel the power jump because we're unable to assimilate the power of the heavens towards our body..."
Khan's eyes widened towards this sudden revelation, 'So that's the reason why the Sect Master's soul and physical body are weaker than his cultivation!'
"Then, how are you planning on ascending the Divine Emperor Realm?" Khan asked, towards the tribulation of a peak Divine Ascendance Realm towards the Emperor Realm, no one was more familiar than it but Khan.
"I'm planning on attempting it on the Continent of Pride since that continent isn't really technologically advanced thanks to their efforts in continuously refusing modern technology."
"I see, but be careful about that tribulation, though. Especially the last strike..." Khan said, his tone becoming barely audible in the end.
"It's decided then, I will bring you at the Continent of Pride after about two days, you better prepare yourselves..."
The Sect Master bid his farewell upon arriving near the mansion gates, and the couple walked towards the mansion, once inside, Khan who was starting to prepare dinner was embraced by Lily from the back.
The beauty wore a worried look as she spoke in a gentle tone.
"Are we really going to the Continent of Pride?" Khan returned a small smile, he rubbed Lily's head and spoke.
"Yeah, don't you miss your homeland?"
"I do, but... I'm sure that father will kill you if he founds out that you took me..." Lily's embraced tightened, Khan, pondered for a while before asking, "May I ask if your father is the current Sect Master?"
"Yeah, he is..."
Khan revealed a smile that exuded his utmost confidence.
"Then he won't do anything to me, more like, he will be begging me to take you as my wife..." Lily pinched his waist, "Hmmph! How do you even got that thought? Just so you know, my father is a peak Divine Ascendance Realm powerhouse, you know?"
Khan chuckled lightly, stirring the contents of the pan, he gave a small smile before boldly declaring.
"When did your husband, even lie to you?" He turned off the stove and returned the beauty's embrace, the two enjoyed each other's warmth for a moment before eating their dinner.
The night concluded peacefully, aside from the storm that wreaked havoc inside the two's bedroom. The day ended without much suspense, the day where they would step on the Continent of Pride's land would soon arrive.

I dug it up recently and I'm posting it as I thought people here might get a kick out of it. So, take that for what you will. Chapters will be released daily at 6:00pm EST.
