The calm after the storm appeared, the brilliance of the sun carried its piercing light towards Lily's eyelids, with a groan, she slowly opened her eyes.
Feeling the unknown weight pressed on her body, her eyes widened in shock, for on her body was the sleeping Khan. Her emotions greatly fluctuated when she felt the breeze of the morning sun brushing through her body.
Removing the white sheets on her body, she found that she laid, completely naked. And Khan, pressed on her, without any fabric to separate their bodies.
Her instincts pushed her on to scream, but before she could shout, she found the collapsed body of her grandfather. With a shove and tears forming on her eyelids, she leaped towards her grandfather and sobbed.
The dull pain spreading on her lower abdomen and the scarlet red mark left on the sheets were the witness to the affair that happened. Lily wore a blank look, full of despair and hopelessness.
Due to the sudden force that struck him, Khan's consciousness slowly returned. When he first opened his eyes, he saw Lily squatted on the ground without any clothes.
When he stared at the blank eyes of the young girl, Khan didn't know what to do, a strange guilt rose from his heart. He turned to the figure beside Lily and found the Elder collapsed without any strength.
Khan immediately leaped towards the Elder, without even caring about decency, he clutched the Elder's wrist but found Lily forming a finger sword, pointed towards his neck.
"Don't you dare, touch grandpa." Her tone cold and distant.
Khan gritted his teeth, although he expected this attitude to come from Lily, he still felt lost on what actions to take. Just before he resolved himself to speak. A burst of aquamarine light enveloped the Elder's body and the familiar figure of the aquamarine dragon materialized in the air.
Lily's eyes widened in shock, before being filled with tears once again. She hugged the incorporeal dragon and wept.
The aquamarine dragon embraced Lily with her tail, she looked towards Khan and spoke with the same distant tone, but this time, one could feel a hint of admiration coming from it.
"To think that you would go this far, and even succeed." Lily's figure shook, she turned her eyes towards Khan and the latter startled, for Lily's gaze contained great contempt and disgust.
"Don't look at him like that Granddaughter... He sacrificed his own physique to exhaust the Yang energy in your body." The aquamarine dragon sighed in relief, now that Lily's body was void of the domineering Yang energy, her Yin would once again flourish and eventually balance out.
But unfortunately for Khan, because he sucked all of Lily's Yang energy. The barbaric energy ravaged his entire body, dealing even more severe injuries to him, it was even a huge miracle for him to be able to stand up after what happened.

The aquamarine dragon sololiqued.
"Although my granddaughter's talent is reduced to a mere average, what use is talent if you cannot nurture it? I'd rather have my granddaughter alive than her living in hell." For the first time ever since they met, Khan witnessed the aquamarine dragon smiling towards him.
"On behalf of all the Nature Dragon's living in this planet, I, Jasmine Gabica, give my thanks... I shall leave with you my granddaughter, I do hope that she will be able to take care of you..." The aquamarine dragon scanned Khan's body and found that Khan's meridians were even more destroyed than before.
'It would take a miracle for this boy to heal... To think that an expert of the Divine Emperor Realm would sacrifice himself for a young girl...' The aquamarine dragon sighed in helplessness. In this matter, she really didn't have anything to help him.
Lily's body shook, although her lower body had a dull pain spreading through it, the other parts of her body moved energetically, and the frost Qi which bothered her had assimilated with her body to the point that she could naturally control it.
She leaped towards Khan grabbed his wrist and sunk her consciousness towards his body.
"Ah!" Lily screamed, for the sight that appeared before her was too horrendous to describe, Khan's Dantian had shrunk to the size of a ping-pong ball, his meridians looked like a dried out tree branch, although his lifeforce was still formidable as ever.
It was evident that Khan had become a cripple, in this life of his, he will never be able to ascend back to the peak that he once achieved.
Although Khan was aware of all of this, Looking at the healed Lily, Khan didn't understand why he had this great sense of satisfaction.
He wore a small complicated smile, back at those times, he had loved several women, but thanks to the cruel passing of time, all of them had left his side.
Eventually, he grew tired of loving and lived every day in utter dissatisfaction. Even though he could summon a harem of women to enjoy himself, he wasn't able to find the true love that he sought.
Khan had a thought, it would be great if I could live my entire life as a mortal. How great would that be? Not having any worries about enemies striking you from behind, being able to pass everyday life without worrying about heaven's tribulation.
Khan missed those days of peace, and so, this current everyday life of his was precious to him, if someone ever tries to destroy this equilibrium, Khan had the resolve to show them how cruel he was.
Seeing Khan's blank look, Lily's face distorted as she cried, she didn't care about not having any clothes and leaped towards Khan, tightly embracing him to her arms.

"Sorry... I didn't know that..." Lily murmured, her tone contained mixed emotions that ran through her mind.
Khan didn't respond, he just sat there with a blank look on his face as he stared directly at the horizon. Khan had a thought, although he was crippled, he could still ascend to the peak, even without Qi, he could still rise through the ranks and obtain the peak he had once achieved.
Using the talent that he had developed for several tens of thousands of years, through the use of talisman creation. Thanks to the fusion of Modern Technology and Ancient Technology, Khan was able to create a talisman without the use of Qi and use it solely with soul energy that the Rune Decipherer needed to function.
With his formidable soul, Khan resolved himself to reach the peak once more. He took a deep breath, calmed his nerves and returned Lily's embrace.
"Sorry If I became selfish... You had once saved my life, so I didn't care If I were to die just to repay the favor that you gave me..." Khan whispered, his tone contained all the emotions that he wanted to express.
"Why did you...? Why are you so good to me...? You don't even know anything about me... What If I am not the person whom you thought to be..." The tears whom she greatly held back flowed down her cheeks and moistened her face.
"I don't know, in this lifetime of mine, this is the first time that I felt this kind of emotion... Even so, I do know that I do not regret anything that I did..." Khan continued, a satisfied smile suffused on his face.
"I'm someone that glosses over things, I easily become jealous about something, I always nag about anything, and I may make trouble for you all the time... Back at the sect, everyone treated me like a princess, their eyes would be filled with deep respect because of the huge background behind me, and wherever I go, I was unable to find a person truly sincere with their feelings for as long as they knew about my lineage... Only you... Khan, treated me right, you treated me like a normal girl, although you know nothing about me, you treated me closely like one of your family members." Lily's tone became agitated as she tightened her embrace and complained.
"Back at the sect, you risked your life to protect me from Elder Maverick's attack, and in the cave, even though we're stronger than you, you still protected us from the Sect Master... The favor of saving your life was already repaid by you, Khan..."
"Even so, why did you do this for me? Why did you go this far? I am really worth that much? I'm a protective woman, if you stay by my side, I will covet you even more, to the point that you may feel restricted, but I can't help myself! I just want the man who took me for the first time to be by my side..." Lily's tone became hysterical as time goes by.
Khan just sat there, returning her embrace in silence.
Lily's head moved, her reddened cheeks paired with her glossy eyes emphasized the contour of her beauty, her mouth slightly opened and closed as if she was trying to say something.
Burying herself in Khan's chest, she whispered in a small voice.
"I love you, Khan."
Khan broke out into a small smile, his perception captured the moment where Lily's confession came and burned it into his mind. Khan lifted Lily's head up, he stared at the beautiful girl whom he made into a woman, he moved her chin closer towards his lips as he spoke.
"I love you too, Lily."
A blissful atmosphere surrounded the room, unknowingly another dragon had materialized, the dragon's skin had a crimson sheen, its gentle smile seemed to sink into Elder Gabica's figure.
The two dragons twined their tails together as they watched the couple, the smiles suffused on their faces expressed their satisfaction.
They looked at each other and nodded, their bodies melted together and formed a stream of Qi which flew towards Khan's body.
This phenomenon had gone unnoticed by Khan, he was too focused on the soft feeling that came on his lips. He embraced the beauty and enjoyed the blissful moment while it lasted.
The two separated as a string of clear white liquid gave evidence with their connection to each other. Their eyes shone in the same light and they smiled at each other.
The couple looked towards where Elder Gabica's body was supposed to be, but their eyes constricted in shock, for what they only found was a golden book. Tears streaked across Lily's eyes as she sobbed in sorrow, Khan's visage had a pained look on it as a tear flowed down his cheek.
He embraced the Lily who tightly hugged the book while crying. Khan didn't know what to do. He could only do his best to support Lily in her times of distress.
But there was a sure thought in his mind.
'You sick cats of the Lion Race, although this great one is crippled, I shall make you bastards, tremble in fear when you hear my name...' Unknowingly, Khan's eyes became filled with ice-cold killing intent.
Towards the race who made the pair of family suffer, Khan didn't have any mercy to offer, in the future, he shall annihilate them.
