Crunch
Mordred loudly bit into an apple. He also didn’t forgot to loudly smack his lips as he chewed.
Smack
“Ow! Marielle!” he screamed and threw a glare at the old dwarf that had popped up behind him.
“I see you forgot your manners boy” the old lady croaked.
Rene burst out laughing.
“This isn’t funny. I have to eat. I have to! This is embarrassing” Mordred whined.
“Embarrassing or not, I don’t want to listen to your eating habits” Marialle warned.
“You weren’t even here, who asked you to listen to our conversation” Mordred mumbled but she heard him anyways and sent another wave of her stick towards his head.
Thwack!
“Ow! I think something cracked!” He cried.
The old lady paid him no attention and proceeded to vanish from the spot.
“Not my fault you’re bonded to her Majesty” Vodka smirked.
Mordred threw a glare at him.
“How is that embarrassing? I eat all the time even though I don’t have to” Rene asked as she tried to peel an orange for herself.
“Exactly Rene. That’s the problem. I have to eat” Mordred sighed, “ I don’t know what happened. I suddenly feel much weaker that before and I’m more like a mortal now”
“Perhaps because Agnes cultivation is currently that low? We’re no longer on earth and you can’t be stronger than your summoner in Vetranos” Vodka reasoned
“That actually makes sense…” Mordred mumbled.
“I now understand how my Lady felt” Rene shook her head, “Binding with an angel and he just had to be a stupid one”
“Wha---” Mordred went wide eyed.
Rene smiled and squashed the orange in frustration. It wasn’t peeling. She could usually deal with this but she couldn’t use her mana to see in here.
“Sometime I forget you’re blind” Mordred noted.

“Shut up. I don’t need you to remind me. I forget it too” she snarled and added smilingly, “This seems like the right time to say, Fuck you Pluto!”
“You’re asking to be cursed again” Mordred shook his head.
“What’s the worst he can do?” Rene scoffed.
The sky rumbled in response and she pursed her lips and screamed to the sky, “I didn’t mean that! Can’t you take a joke you big oaf!”
The sky calmed down almost immediately.
Mordred was about to comment on the odd relationship she had with Pluto but noticed Vodka’s oddity.
He turned to the red haired man and followed his eye sight.
Agnes didn’t look as calm as she’d looked when she began to recover her memories. If anything her demonic aura was threatening to come out. Her body was also undergoing visible changes.
Her skin was changing between black and yellowish brown. Cracks appeared on her skin. Opening and healing continuously.
And most noticeably, her rank was skyrocketing.
“That doesn’t look good. Marielle!” Rene screamed.
The old lady popped out of nowhere and raised a brow, “What? Do you have to call me when I’m feeding my chickens?”
Rene promptly ignored her response, “The Queen is acting up”
Marielle glanced at the body on the table and shrugged, “Everything looks fine to me”
“Really?” Mordred was baffled.
Rene raised a brow, “If you say so. I’ve never actually watched one of your crazy spells in action so this is quite a surprise”
The old lady cackled, “Why so worried? She won’t die to something this little”
“Our Queen won’t die but Agnes can” Vodka said very softly but they all heard him.
Whack
Vodka felt a metallic stick on his forehead. He yelped in pain and turned around to see Marielle’s angry face.

“That is our Queen. Not some girl. You would do well to never say that again” her eyes were practically glowing with anger.
Vodka nodded and the threatening atmosphere was gone in an instant.
Mariella flashed her crooked teeth at them and with a pop she was gone. She seemed to love disappearing everywhere.
Rene stared at Vodka, boring holes into his body, “Elder Brother, are you still…?”
“No” he replied firmly.
Rene kept staring at him for a while more then shrugged, “I understand”
“I was wondering” Mordred suddenly said, “Can we watch? I’ve been curious about my Lady’s past but she never tells me”
“If you want to be killed the moment she awakens, go ahead” Rene gave a blinding smile and gestured to the table Agnes was on.
Mordred thought over it for a second and realized he still loved his life.
“Since we’re talking about killing now, won’t Her Majesty kill us?” Vodka asked with a smile that wasn’t a smile.
“Why?” Mordred asked confused.
“Not you. Me and Rene” Vodka clarified.
“For trying to kill her?” Rene raised a brow.
“Yes” Vodka nodded.
Rene caught what Mordred threw at her. Feeling it, she guessed it was a peeled orange, “Yes, most likely. But it’s not like---”
Vodka smirked interrupting her “It’s not like it’s the first time, right?”
Rene grinned.
“I don’t think she’ll do that” Mordred objected.
Vodka turned to him, “Why?”
“When she gets her memories, she’ll know. Just how cowardly her actions were” Mordred said solemnly. He truly didn’t think her actions were. He thought they were admirable but it would definitely look cowardly.
“Cowardly…” Rene chewed over those words and shook her head, “I don’t think it was cowardly”
Mordred and Vodka were visibly surprised. They thought that Rene found Agnes’ actions that day as cowardly.
If Agnes were here she’d be confused. The Vodka she knew on earth always had a poker face. This Vodka showed everything on his face.
“Then why were you so angry?” Vodka had to ask.
Honestly he only came to earth because his sister was so adamant. If not he wouldn’t. He lost a few years of cultivation due to it and would never do it again no matter what.
She raged about the Queen abandoning them but Vodka didn’t see it like that.
Regardless of his view, Rene was furious for months and when she finally got a hold of Agnes she exploded.
“She promised” Rene mumbled at first, “that she wouldn’t ever risk her life for us. That her life was priority but what was the bs she pulled?!”
Her voice had gone very high at this point, “The chances of her surviving that spell was less that 0.00001 percent!”
Mordred couldn’t stop the smile that floated onto his face, “As expected. You are Rene”
Vodka was smiling to, “I know, right?”
Rene gave them a look but she was blind so her eyes weren’t focused, “What is that supposed to mean?”
Mordred and Vodka looked at each other and burst out laughing.
And Agnes lay as still as ever on the table of memories past.

Let's say she and her imaginary friend miraculously pass through the borders of reality into an alternate universe, crash landing into a world of swords and magic aboard a starship full of high-tech wonders. Now, let's also say the first person this borderline psychopath meets happens to be her doppelganger - a highly gifted mage who happens to have a few problems of her own, like a bad temper or a bad habit of chronic self-delusion. With me so far? Good. Now, what's the on the agenda for these two different people who happen to be the same person? Settle down, start a family and thoroughly enjoy life.
