《Rebirth of Assassin》Chapter 19: Praise

Jak Foyl who was in his own world completely forgot about the existence of his wife in front of him.
Gyza Darc's face turned colder as seconds passed.
She has been busy patching the things up within the Ex Notorio clan for the past few years, which is why she couldn't focus on her daughter. Where could she find the time to look after her daughter's affair when the Clan much needed a good 'cleansing'?
She have given the task of watching after their daughter to this man in front of her.
Jak seemed to come into conclusion as his eyes flashed with complexity, he looked hesitant but he still opened his mouth.
"Gyza... Even I cannot help but-" Before Jak could even form his sentence he was cut off by Gyza.
"You are doubting Meartle?" Gyza's fierce look started to cool down as what was left was an emotionless face, the room seemed to drop several.
"No, it is not that I'm doubting them--" Jak immediately regretted his words as he racked his brain thinking ways to calm down his wife.
*sigh*
Jak who was expecting Gyza to explode on him was met with Gyza's puzzling sigh, she looked extremely tired as if she had aged a few year. Seeing this, Jak's heart couldn't help but ache. This burden that Gyza is carrying, it should been his, if he was just not soft-hearted towards his kin...
"I have wanted to keep this secret onto my grave but it seems like I can't." Gyza walked towards the sofa, and softly slumped her tired body on it.
"One of our ancestors was an illegitimate child of the Runederern Kingdom... That Ancestor also inherited the signature skill of the Runederern, 'Qi Manipulation Lvl(Max)'. Which is why he greatly excelled in his Cultivation." Her eyes were blankly looking at an empty space as she narrated the story.
"That Ancestor felt that it was unnecessary for him to go to the Runederern Kingdom, as those parents of his had abandoned him, so of course he wouldn't want that person to have a share of his Glory."
Their Ancestor created his own name under his Mother's surname. 'El Mildre' at this time, no one doubted him to be a descendant of any large Clan, Kingdom or even Ancient Bloodline. That Ancestor of us used common spells and rarely invented spells and techniques unlike the descendants of the Re Moztier who showed off their strength's.

Unfortunately, he fell in love and married someone with no cultivation level, our Ancestor only shared his secret to his few trusted people, and he did not force us to marry in the Re Moztier, and with the passing years the already thin bloddline of Re Moztier within us, is almost non-existant.
The El Midre have almost forgotten about this matter as it wouldn't help them in any manner, other than the slim chance of inheriting the skill (Qi Manipulation) they weren't really interested. But some decades ago, the Re Moztier seemed to have been possessed as they eliminated the seeds that were planted outside their domain (Illegimate Children), they have dispatched more than 20,000 direct descendants of the Re Moztier, that year it had been a bloody massacre as they seemed to own an equipment to tell who and where the Illegimate chidren/ descendants were.
The El Midre have barely survived due to their bloodline thinning down to nothingness which have reduced them to become a normal person, but only God's know that a past event would lead to something like this.
If even her Husband, Jak had been suspicious of Meartle then those of Re Moztier have long been suspicious of the twins and Meartle.
"That... The Emperor, that Kid had shown his abilities. There have been no leak of information regarding that little one's awakening. Even our sleeping spies were completely unaware..." Jak felt complicated praising this son-in-law of his, especially in front of his wife who wholeheartedly hated the mere mention of Clayde's name.
Gyza's face twitched.
'What?'
Jak bowed his head as he felt a strong storm coming his way.
"SO HE HAD THE ABILITY?!! THEN WHAT ABOUT OUR FIRST GRANDCHILD HUH?!" Gyza stood up and shouted at the top of her lungs.
"..."
----
*Phicia Alhine Re Moztier*
Inside the Imperial Family, Twin Palace;
My eyes twitched as I felt a difficulty in breathing, it was as if a heavy force is currently placed on me. As my consciousness fully enters my body, I felt that it was a body mass similar to mine, the heartbeat is calm, as if sleeping, two small chubby legs were placed upon my stomach. I casually threw off those small chubby legs.
*Bam*
Palleo's minuscule figure rolled several times on the bed, unfortunately, the force I used was not enough for him to fall over this enormous bed.
"Umu! Sister!" Palleo shakes his head and rubbed his eyes, he then energetically jumped over me and gave me a tight hug.

"You are finally awake!" Luc also flew towards me.
"Earlier how did you do that?! You forcefully used my powers without my consent!? Do you even know the consequences--" I cut off Luc's words.
"Destruction of the mortal body right? I had my mortal body completely destroyed from the inside, all of my internal organs have erupted due to the immense force of foreign Qi which I have forcefully used, while the several skills I suddenly awakened did no good at my already battered body." I nonchalantly said, I grabbed Palleo's face and burrowed it under the bed.
"Go face the wall or something," I commanded Palleo, whereas he dejectedly followed my orders.
"You met the Heartseeker and Candle?" Luc asked.
"Oh, so they were called Heartseeker and Candle. Pretty cheeky names." I chuckled at the thought of calling their names.
"So you did meet them..." Luc confirmed.
"Were they able to pry your status?" He asked.
"Nah... I'm pretty sure they couldn't." I leisurely said as I jumped down the bed. I walked towards the huge mirrored window, I stuck out my hands, and light started to emit on my hands and the curtains parted.
It is already noon.
"..." Luc was lost in his thought so I walked towards Pal, intending to tell him that we should eat by now.
"Hey Pal, let's eat!" Pal immediately turned towards me and excitedly grabbed my hands.
"Okay!"
We left Luc who was in deep contemplation.
---
After leaving Luc inside our Imperial Chamber. We saw Arz standing by the door.
"This one pays respect to her Highness Phicia and his Highness Palleo." She bowed to us and asked;
"What can this lowly one do to assist their Highness?"
"Hungry." I did not bother to talk much with Arz as I knew that it would just get her in trouble, seeing all the other Shadows is with her.
---
After having our fill. Our Dear Fang Liu came to us.
"Greetings to her Highness Phicia and his Highness Palleo." He curtsied.
"..." He looked at me asking for permission to further speak. Remembering how he escaped yesterday, by being unconscious it made me annoyed.
"..." I also ignored him and walked towards the Training Grounds.
"...." As I ignored Fang Liu, he was lost at what to do, he may be a great scholar praised for his knowledge, but unfortunately, I'm not a child who could be easily consoled!
I glanced at Fang Liu then to Palleo. Grabbing Palleo's chubby hands I then concentrated the Qi on my feet and jumped!
"Ah!?" Fang Liu was surprised by my actions and could not react in time.
Using that small time frame I waved my hands and several magic circles flashed. This teleportation skill that I used is one of the minor spells that could be used by normal magicians and have no complexity at all, I heard that kids at my age use this for convenience on our subordinate Kingdom, the Runederern Kingdom.
'Hmm...? It would not be so bad to check out our subordinate Kingdom.' I had this thought.
This magnificent Twin Palace of ours consists hundreds of gardens and training grounds, within this Twin Palace, this one place is hidden pretty well.
The Garden of Ivy, as the given title, the whole garden consists of Ivy. It coils around on the most part of the Garden, only the paths were excluded.
'Oho?' Earlier as I had used my skill, even our 'Shadows' were surprised which caused them a wave of hesitation--
'One, two, three... ? Where are the others?' We have 17 Shadows, but only 3 had actually come after me? Meh, whatever.
"Sister! Look at these!" Palleo excitedly runs around the Garden pointing at the Ivy, while I walked towards one of the Garden Walls which was packed with Ivy plants, I then proceeded to kick it.
*Bam*
*Sssssk*
The garden wall which was full of Ivy, along with the Ivy plants began to open.
"""!!?""" The three Shadows were shocked at my action but they do not interrupt me.
"Oooooh!!" Palleo's attention was quickly caught as run at my side.
Every Palace has their own secret passages and this 'secret door' is one of that. Although the Shadows know the places and location of the 'secret door' and 'secret passages' they are forbidden to enter it, as these 'secret door' and 'secret passages' has a spell engraved on them that does not allow anyone other than those who are 'pureblood'.

Humans Are Evil (completed)
A world of magic, where empires rise and fall, and where civilization is never safe from the perpetual menace of the monsters that roam the land. In this volatile landscape Fera is reborn and must adapt to this new and ever-changing world. She will grasp at whatever opportunities she finds to escape her unfortunate birth as an orphan. Either excelling, or wallowing in self-pity, Fera will question if this world of magic was as fantastical as she initially thought. Note: The story is technically a litRPG, but much less like a game and more akin to real life, for example obtaining a class does not give free skills to the individual, it’s the other way around! Skills are what unlock your class, so an individual who learns magic skills will unlock mage classes, classes then provide passive buffs and stats, in my opinion this makes everything feel more earned so that the power levels in the world are more natural, rather than every single random person being a powerhouse.
