《Legend of the Seven》Chapter 42 - Wind Freak?

Clouds. Endless blue sky. A figure sleeps amongst the clouds.
“Time to rise, my Guide.” A voice from everywhere speaks to the sleeping figure.
Gradually, the male figure’s eyelids flicker open. He awakens. He stretches as one would from a long-overdue rest. The type of sleep that reshapes a mind and changes something. Everything.
“Woah!” The male figure shouts as he becomes cognizant of his environment. He is floating in midair, suspended here by unknown forces.
“Your metamorphosis has only just begun.” The voice from everywhere speaks.
“What’s going? Where am I?” The male figure asks.
“My aviator, you are awakening.” The voice from everywhere speaks, “This is your Dao-Heart.”
“Awakening? Dao-Heart?” The male figure asks while looking around.
“Always so many questions, Haneul.” The voice from everywhere speaks, “Choose wisely.”
“Then I will ask the most important question.” Haneul says, “What do you want?”
“You wished to Guide.” The voice from everywhere speaks, “I am here to facilitate.”
“What? I do not understand.” Haneul asks, “Who are you?”
“Perhaps this form will suffice.” The voice from everywhere speaks.
A cloud forms right in front of Haneul. It shapes into a bird. A parrot. A familiar from childhood.
“Do you still remember me?” The parrot asks.
“Han?” Haneul asks even more confused, “How? What is going on?”
“You did name this form of mine after yourself. Unfortunately, we do not have much time together at this moment.” Han the parrot says, “I have expended a lot of Cosmic Qi to jump-start your metamorphosis earlier than intended. Sadly, it is incomplete.”
“Metamorphosis?” Haneul asks.
“Have a look.” The parrot says, conjuring a mirror out of thin air right in front of Haneul.

Haneul stares at his face. His once 59-year-old face has melted away back to his youthful days of around 25. His previously jet black hair is now silvery white. His eyes, once black due to his Asian heritage, are now stormy blue. His body is slimmer yet his muscles feel denser than before.
It finally dawns on Haneul, ‘I am naked.’
“What happened to me?” Haneul says, unbelievably still touching his face.
“First, call forth the wind.” Han says.
“What?” Haneul asks.
“Manifest your desire to touch the very skies.” Han says, flapping its wings, “Feel the air!”
As if on cue, the surrounding clouds begin to dance. They swirl around the duo. Haneul feels them. Their freshness. Their formlessness. For the moment, Haneul is one with the sky itself.
“Unfortunately, I can not answer all of your questions right at this moment.” Han says as its form begins to grow transparent, “Just know that help is on the way and around the corner.”
“Hold on!” Haneul says as he snaps out of oneness, “Do not leave me now.”
“Have no fear. I am around you and with you, always.” Han says, “We will meet properly soon.”
“Wait!” Haneul shouts at the rapidly fading parrot, “I still have questions.”
“Stick together!” Han shouts, “Time to shine.”
The world around Haneul melts away.

A Universe of Bloody Evolution
The Void was never meant to be opened to the Multiverse. The horrors waiting inside it should have never seen the light. And yet, the biggest mistake in the history of creation led to the impossible. In an event later known as the Outbreak, gates appeared in the first Universe, and with them, the Void was free. For ages the Void destroyed universe after universe, spreading its power in every direction, leaving only death and pain behind. But before every Universe met its end, it still had a chance. A small part of the population that survived the initial Outbreak and was granted a mysterious System to help them fight against the dangers that came from the Void. They were the Multiverse's last hope even if they couldn't stop the collapse of their own world. And so the cycle continued until the 36th Outbreak came. Leo Hale, a young reporter from Wolford, was one of the lucky ones to survive when the majority of Earth's population turned into monsters straight out of nightmares. Thrust into a constant battle for his life, Leo was determined to push forward and find his remaining family. Even if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity. After all, you either adapt or die. Story of progression and evolution with my take at the post-apocalyptic genre. Unlike most monster evolution stories where the monster rushes to gain human form, here I plan to do something quite the opposite. After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, being human can be hard. Warnings are here to give me the freedom to write whatever is necessary. This is my first original novel. Also English isn't my native language so any feedback is welcome. Remember that even if initially this story takes place on Earth, fictional places, streets, etc will appear. Release Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words (There might be exceptions as is the case with some of the first chapters - most of them are longer.)

Owlnother World
In a hospital bed somewhere on Earth, I breathed my last breath. Or at least I thought I did. Then suddenly, I was flying through a void of nothing. As I landed in a new world, my life as an owl had started. Follow this girl on her journey in a new world, with a new life as she explores cultures, peoples, magic and herself. What mysteries does the world hold? Where does the magic come from? And what does she want to do with her new lease on life? This is my first story and I want to use it to explore writing people, character development, environments, relationships and all the other things a good story should have. I would be happy if you give it a chance and for me, feedback as well as criticism.

This Book
The author, Edward Faust is aware that “This Book” does not really describe what this book is about. We shall pretend that it is a meta artistic choice but the reality is that Mr. Faust is bad at coming up with titles, and since starting This Book back in 2015 as a NaNoWriMo project he could never come up with a good one. This Book’s genre is YA Supernatural, but that’s only as helpful as any genre tag (IE: not very) so I shall describe it further. This Book is primarily about reincarnation, but it also features mythical creatures such as angels (known here as Seraphs), demons, Byzantines, as well as homeschoolers. Two mythical homeschoolers in fact make up the main characters of this work, a pair of siblings named Grayson and Kish. They live in metro Atlanta in the year 2019 AD with their Aunt. On one particular day they are plunged into a rabbit hole of spiritual and metaphysical politics by the arrival of a mysterious one-eyed Green haired woman and strange humanoid creatures into their lives. That is where the story begins. Yes. This book can also be found at https://thisbook.home.blog/
