《Jacob WillBreaker》Chapter 37 Jacob WillBreaker

The announcement for Ach city was an hour premature as we had to line up in a long-ass queue. So I had to wait again. I have concluded that I dislike waiting. Something inside me did not like waiting around and doing nothing. I wanted to be enjoying life, hunting, killing and eating [Maybe it has something to do with my instincts from my biological heritage. Curious ]
To stop myself from causing a riot with my empathy or viruses I decided to play with myself (Not in that way you sick fuck he is like 10. Jk love you all). I begin by creating lots of venoms, poisons, and pathogens (a bacterium, virus, or other microorganisms that can cause disease.) in isolated parts of my body while stimulating my immune system to its highest possible state.
The result was excruciatingly painful as my body was torn apart from the inside as it died [Fucking cunting bastard this hurts (Choke me harder daddy)] Despite the pain I did not intervene as me body slowly fought the toxic substance. After 45 minutes and many different variations of the toxins introduced to my body, I had the desired effect. My body was now Immune to all the biological toxins I could create, most of which are incredibly deadly. My reasoning was so that I could hopefully be immune to toxins entering my body and while I could control my body to remove the effects, I may not always be in a situation where I can. With my body now immune it can fight off the toxins naturally. As for this working on magically modified toxins, I have no idea but it can't hurt. I spend the last 5 minutes make sure my body was back to normal as well as refining my cells.
Once at the gate, the guards gave us a half-hearted search before letting us into the bustling city. Having finally entered Arch city I go to the front of the carriage so I get a good view, and immediately discovered why it is called Arch city. The city was surrounded by 10 twisted arches with the hollow parts filled with a stone wall, creating the perimeter of the city.

“Hey mate [I forgot the driver's name] do you mind taking me to the adventurers guild before the meeting with the heartstones?”
“That will be fine Willbreaker we have time, I actually wanted to go there myself to offer an escort quest. Perhaps you would be interested in it?”
“I appreciate the offer but I have been traveling for over a year now and I would like a little break before I head back out there.”
“Understandable, Willbreaker. I hope the rest treats you well but be warned cities are not as peaceful as they appear.”
“Haha I am counting on it, I wouldn't want to get bored.”
“Ha you are one crazy-ass kid”
“Thank you but compliments won't get you anywhere, I am not into old men.”
“You wish kid. You know if I didn't see you remove a man's head, throw it at his lover and explode it I would be taking your ass to an orphanage.”
“Why, so you could try your moves on the other kids?”
Our good-natured bickering lasted until we reached the adventurers guild hall where we parked the carriage to the side and walk in together until we split up to do our separate tasks. I went up to one of the requirement desks while the grey beak nomadic driver went up to a desk next to the mission board presumably to post his job offer.
Looking around I noticed that all the receptionists were attractive young men and women. I along with the people in my line were lining up for an attractive brown haired lady with green eyes [She is pretty but she looks boring like she would just allow people to do everything for her.] Taking note of the recruitment process it looked like it required 25S so I prepared it in advance. After a few minutes, I was at the front of the line.
The brown-haired lady spoke in a boring and monotone voice “ To join the guild you will need to present your full name, pay 25S and sign these forms stating you will not betray the guild or a contracted quest with your blood.”

Handing over the money I created a tentacle and discreetly take some blood from the person behind me which I used to sign the form.
“My name is Jacob.”
“ Sigh Jacob… what.”
“What?”
She looks annoyed “What.Is.Your.Last.Name.You.Stupid.Little.Boy?”
[Bitch. Can't start a fight here though, I can, however, infect her.]
Creating another tentacle I use it to infect her with the ‘zero’ virus.
“I don't have one”
“Great another weak peasant that thinks that they can play the hero. Ha, you should go jump off the wall now and save us some time babysitting your pathetic weak ass.”
[Wow what great manners. How the fuck did she get this job? Control yourself, getting this job will help your plans]
With a pained smile I place the three tokens I revived from the two merchants, the bird-headed man and Selena representing the three groups favor towards me.
She looks at them then at me. “Oh...I still need a last name though.” [Absolute bitch.]
At this moment the nomad driver comes up to me. “Willbreaker have you done yet? We don't have long until the meeting.”
The lady looks at the nomad and asks in a questioning voice “Willbreaker?”
“Yeah, it's my title apparently. It's a long story...It can be my surname.”
She snorts “Bit pretentious isn't it?”
“Yup, now could you do your job please.”
She frowns but proceeds to fiddle around with some items on her desk before handing me a card made from a light blue material.
“This will show your name, Jacob Willbreaker, and your rank of C-. You can show this at various stores and some will give you a discount. Put some more blood on it so it can track your progress."
I do as she says.
" NEXT!”
“Thank you” [What a delightful lady.]
“Fucking piece of work that one.” the Nomadic carriage driver was a little more vocal in his displeasure.
“Well, Willbreaker now it's time to meet the Heartstones.”
After leaving the guildhall we headed to the meeting place, which was a restaurant that specializes in steak of the local herd beasts. Although I would have loved to eat some good food I only wanted to get my reward so I could start my plans. So once the driver dropped me off at the restaurant and we said our goodbyes I walk over to the group but did not sit down.
Once at the group's table I noticed the Selena and Sophie's father was not present, instead there was the butler that I saw through the magical communication mirrors. He was in a posh looking suit while the two noblewomen were in elegant dresses. The two merchants just wore their regular clothes. The guards sat at another table.
Standing up the butler offered me his hand which I shook [Soft hands, possibly a magic user but I doubt he is proficient in close combat.]
“Welcome Jacob, do you care to join us for a meal?” The Butler offers.
“I appreciate the offer kind sir, but I am on a tight schedule today. Apologies for my bluntness but I only came to say goodbye and to claim my reward. I have lots to do in a little time frame.”
With a dejected look, he replies “That is a shame Jacob, but I would like to extend an offer to you nonetheless. Would you like to work for the Heartstone…”
“No thank you, I have had enough of being owned by someone.”
“I see. Well here is your reward, 20G and an intricately carved stone knife with an ivory handle.”
“Thank you for your generosity, farewell everyone I hope we meet again.” [Fucking finally these people were soooo boring. I should leave quickly before they try talking again.]
Walking over to the two merchants I shake their hands before shaking all the guard's hands, some were even tearful but it didn't stop me from injecting each one of them with the ‘zero’ virus.
[But aren't they innoc... Doesn't matter.]
Walking away from them I gave them a final wave and goodbye before I went off into the streets.
