《The King is Back》Chapter 27 - Approaching Enemies

The strike team, now joined by Qey, entered the mansion. The entire back side of the mansion was now deserted as its location is quite far from the ballrooms that the party is currently taking place in.
"The guards...where are they?" Toziro asked.
"I told Duke Erlington to gather his guards in the main ballroom!" Qey answered while patting her own chest as if feeling proud.
"That was not part of the plan but good job for that improvisation" Toziro praised and nodded.
"Well...actually that was also Troy's plan but he only told me before I met the Duke..." Qey replied.
"I see...a mastermind he truly is...but still, good job, Qey" Toziro said.
Toziro and the group then walked a short distance towards a living room with desks for guests and a bookshelf in one of the walls.
"It's here. Qey, bring the keys." Toziro called out to Qey who was still carrying the keys.
"Coming!"
Qey pulled out the keys from her cleavage again and handed it over to Toziro. After receiving the keys, Toziro promptly wiped it clean with a cloth.
'Who knows what kind of germs were there in those valleys' Toziro thought.
Toziro gazed upon the keys. Two of them. It seemed that there were two keyholes that they need to enter the keys in.
"Hmmm..." Toziro started searching for where to put the keys in.
"Kamila...uh...use one of your force animals to find the keyholes...this would've been faster if we had the ARIM..." Toziro muttered.
Kamila stayed silent but complied. She closed her eyes and concentrated. After a while, her battle force formed the dire wolf that she used to fight before. She handed the keys to the wolf for it to sniff and the creature started searching for the locations. After one minute, the wolf found the two keyholes.
"The keyholes are in two statues...one in front of the bookshelf and one near the door. Alright, Qey, take one key here and let's turn the keys at the same time" Toziro called out to Qey to start opening the secret basement.
Both of them got into position. Toziro entered the key to the statue near the bookshelf while Qey was in front of the statue near the door. They turned the key at the same time.
(RUMBLE)
A small rumbling noise can be heard and the bookshelf started to move sideways, revealing a staircase into the basement. When the pathway was revealed, a smiling bald man with a tattoed face was waiting for them.

"Hey it's the leader, the mute, and the dumb bitch again," Bima muttered.
"Hey, fuck you!" Qey got angry after hearing Bima's insult and they started arguing again.
Ignoring the two of them, Toziro started to walk below where he found the main chambers of the basement full of naked women. The smell was unbearable. A mix of excrements, urine, and bodily fluids permeated into the air. The sights were shocking but it was not the first time Toziro saw something like this, unfortunately.
"Girls, are you okay?" Toziro asked with a gentle voice.
"W-w-we are! Thank you for saving us!" One of the girls who seemed to have been soiled by Duke Erlington the least answered.
Not everyone was as responsive as her. Many of the girls were traumatized and probably suffering from post-traumatic stress so they wouldn't respond to anything Toziro asked of them.
"Alright, let's get the girls out of here. Qey, did you do what I asked you to?" Toziro asked.
"Yes...although Troy disagreed with it, I ended up telling the Duke to reveal his crimes to all of his guests! Now the news will spread to all the lands! Hohohoho" Qey answered and gave an 'evil' laugh.
"Right...We can't really kill him nor have him arrested. But this is the least we can do...Let's not waste any more time. In order to not attract suspicion, I want you to go back to the party with Tobias and go back home yourselves, understand?" Toziro ordered Qey.
"Got it!" Qey complied.
In the dark of the night, Toziro, Kamila, Bima, Putra, Qey, and the kidnapped girls all left the city of Neversummer towards a secluded cottage in the middle of the forest.
"This is our safe house. You'll be safe here for a while. We can only return you guys after things calmed down..."Toziro said to the girls.
"T-that's alright. We are already grateful we could get out of that misery" One of the girls answered with a solemn face.
Qey was feeling sorry for the girls and chimed in.
"You will be receiving food, shelter, and also psychological assistance here. Don't worry, we will get you guys back on your feet!" Qey said with a cheery voice.
The total numbers of girls that were rescued were thirty. The Duke kidnapped them for their beauty but he didn't violate them himself—his men and even his son joined in very often. The girls would need a lot of time to recover.

Everyone entered the cottage but found that the cottage's insides were simply too small to fit all of them.
"This..." One of the girls muttered but did not want to voice out her complaints.
"Haha...don't worry. Watch this." Bima said and then started to release his battle force into the air.
(RUMBLE)
"Kyaaa!" One of the girls were surprised that the ground below them was suddenly moving.
The entire room turned into an elevator heading underground. The elevator was slow moving and took one minute to get to their destination. When they arrived, the girls saw a marvelous sight.
"Wow..." One of the girls muttered.
The underground space was huge with multiple hallways and rooms. The elevator was located near the living room where bookshelves, desks, and seats were there. Toziro then told Qey to escort the girls to their designated rooms.
Suddenly, a huge woman walked up to Toziro. She was very muscular and was carrying an equally big buster sword on her back.
"Boss! You're back!" The muscular woman called out.
"Moka. How has it been? Anything new?" Toziro smiled after seeing her and asked.
Moka, also known as The Wall, was the tank of the group. She specialized in a defensive offense where she takes the majority of the incoming damages and attracts the enemies' attention to her in the event of a battle. Her strength was simply impressive but her overly large figure made her very slow, thus not suitable for the previous mission to rescue the girls.
"Oh yeah there is something new alright...Chandra just fucking ate all of our food supply! That bloody pig!" Moka complained.
From one of the hallways, an obese person with a smiling face walked out. It was Chandra, also known as The Eye. His ability allowed him to form an artificial eye created by his battle force everywhere he wanted. He specialized in reconnaissance and plays a very important part of any mission. People would think that his ability would cause some worries on the girl population here, but he was surprisingly not interested in the body of a female.
"Sorry, Leader! You know how it is with my ability...the more I use it the more hungry I get..." Chandra said with an apologetic face.
" *sigh*....Alright, but you have to walk to town yourselves to get the new food supply, got it?" Toziro scolded.
"Aww, leader can't it be another punishment? Anything but walking to town! That's like 20 kilometers away!" Chandra complained.
"Or would you rather I cut down on your ration for the rest of the year?" Toziro replied.
"No! No! Okay, I'll walk to town! See you!" Chandra was surprisingly fast as he ran towards the elevator to buy the food supply.
"Hahahahaha...that bloody pig deserved it," Moka said as she laughed.
Moka then noticed something wrong. Someone was missing.
"Hmmm...where's Tobias? Didn't he come back with you guys? Qey is here" Moka asked.
"He has another mission in town. Where's Troy?" Toziro asked for the whereabouts of Troy, also known as The Mastermind, the lead strategist of the squad. Troy was missing both his right eye and right hand and he was wearing prosthetics.
"I'm here" A voice called out from behind Toziro.
"Wow! Holy shit I couldn't detect you again. You've really gotten better huh." Toziro said while raising his voice in surprise.
"Yes. Rendy wants to talk to you. It's something very, very important" Troy said and he walked towards the hallway without saying anything else.
"Huh." Toziro was confused but he followed Troy.
They arrived in a room...or it's more accurate to call it a laboratorium. Various trinkets and technological items were here from firearms to what seemed to be an outdated version of an exoskeleton. In front of a radar-like device, a man with disheveled hair and glasses was standing looking very focused. That person was Rendy, also known as The Nerd, the lead technician and the expert in all things technology.
"Why did you call me, Rendy? it's quite rare that you want to see me. Did you finish that device that would turn off the chips in our brains?" Toziro asked.
"Almost. There's something far more important than that." Rendy did not turn around to answer but instead was still focused on the radar interface in front of him.
Toziro approached Rendy and his radar and started to analyze the data.
"Hmm....four targets approaching Neversummer. Who are these people?" Toziro asked.
"I...designed this radar to detect any Yakanan technology approaching our location. Those people....are Yakanans" Rendy answered with a nervous face.
"WHAT!? After 10 years they decided to eliminate us huh... Rendy, finish that device. And Troy, come up with a plan" Toziro ordered.
Rendy and Troy nodded and got to work.
"Those fucking bastards..." Toziro muttered in silence.
