It was early in the morning at the village of the Lionel tribe, the sun has barely made its appearance behind the mountains. Normally most of the people of the tribe would still be asleep at this time of the day, but they were forced to wake up early that morning by a loud female voice…

The cry of babies can now be heard mixed together with voices of the adults, to the point where everyone was forced to wake up…

Dasti who was assigned to guard the gate that night finally made his appearance on top of the gate..

Dasti murmured as he took a look at the owner of the voice who turned out to be Del.

Eliz said it with a worried look on her face as she spotted the wound on Del’s leg.

Eliz took a quick look at her people then returned to Del as she noticed their carefree looking face…

“Fine…But first we must treat your wound.” (Eliz)

“Thanks you! Eliz-sama.”(Del)

Del responded happily.

“Everyone, I am sorry for the inconvenience…Del you too.” (Eliz)

“I am sorry everyone!” (Del)

Eliz and Del bowed down toward the people of the tribe as an apologized.

“Well...I don’t mind it as long she is under your control.”

The people of the tribe seemed to accept Eliz’s selfish request, soon after the event ended everyone went back to their home trying their best to get some sleep before the sun make its appearance.

As for Del, she is now inside the home of the tribe leader while having Eliz treating her wound.”

Eliz said it while treating Del’s wound.

“Sorry Eliz-sama...I was careless.” (Del)

“So? Why did you return?...It better be something important.” (Eliz)

Del said it as tears began to fall down onto her cheek.

Del’s face suddenly became red and her eyes were soon filled with tears as she finished her line.

Eliz let out a sigh of relief after seeing her maid’s sleeping face..

Eliz let out a sigh as the pair made their appearance.

The crowd got noisier for each second that passed by but was soon turned to dead silent as Eliz slowly walked toward the center of the crowd.

“Everyone…My brother has declared war against us.” (Eliz)

The noise that disappeared from before has now return and is even louder than before..

“This is all because of me and my selfish action...I am terribly sorry, everyone…I really am sorry, for letting you all down.” (Eliz)

Eliz bowed down with her eyes closed toward the crowd, but this time seems to last longer than the previous one.

“I know, this is selfish of me...But please lend me your strength! I beg every single of you..” (Eliz)

“Isn’t answer obvious?” (Dasti)

“……”

“If we don’t protect of our family, our home who else does?! Eliz don’t lump us together with those greedy humans, right, everyone?!” (Dasti)

“OUUUUUU!!!!”

The people of the tribe suddenly became high spirited as Dasti mentioned pride of being a Lionel, No it was the pride of the demi-humans race. After the war ended they had nothing else other than themselves, they knew too well about the fact that they were nothing without each other.

That’s why no matter what happened they always support each other til the very end.

My mother is a human too you know?…That being said, it sure is a rare sight to see everyone like this.
