Samo said it with a surprised tone as he saw the figure of Eri lurking behind Kai.

“Thanks Samo-san! Ah, by the way this is Eri.. You know, the girl who blew off our gate...” (Kai)

Kai responded as he placed his left hand on Eri’s shoulder.

“N-nice to meet you! My name is Eri...and, um..mm…I AM SORRY FOR DESTROYING YOUR GATE!!” (Eri)

“!?!?”

The sudden shout of Eri suddenly got all the villagers’ attention, as she is now trying to hide behind Kai’s shoulders.

“A...u-uhmmm..” (Samo)

“….Yush! That was the introduction! See ya!” (Kai)

Kai said it with a stiff face then forcefully took Eri’s hand as he rushed toward his home in a fast pace, which left behind Samo and the other gatekeepers behind with a dumbfounded face.

“What the hell was that?…” (???)

“W-who knows?…” (Samo)

A few moments later…

*rustle rustle*

The sound of someone trying to enter the tent can now be heard.

“Welcome back Kai….chan?!” (Eliz)

“Hi, mom…”(Kai)

Eliz’s face immediately turned into a yandere looking one as she spotted Eri, who is now lurking behind Kai with a sorry expression.

“Psst! Kai! Didn’t you said that Eliz-san will accept me?!” (Eri)

Eri whispered to Kai as she stood behind him.

“....Sorry I didn’t think that she would hate you this much…” (Kai)

“!?! You dummy!!” (Eri)

Eri said it with teary eyes, as she keep hitting Kai’s back with her fist.

“Oi…You there.” (Eliz)

The chilling sound of Eliz’s voice was directly send toward Eri, which immediately switched Eri’s panic mode on. Without knowing what she is doing herself Eri suddenly lined up beside Kai as if she was some kind of soldier in training.

“Y-yes, Ma’am!” (Eliz)

Eliz slowly walk toward them with a pair of half open eyes and a perfectly well made “fake” friendly looking smile.

“Wasn’t my decision clear enough for you to understand?~” (Eliz)

Eliz said it with the same smile on her face as she keep her eyes on Eri.

“I-i am sorry….” (Eri)

Eri said it in a sorry tone then began to look down on her feet.

After seeing the scene Kai couldn’t help but to interfere.

“Mom…It’s not her fault, It’s mine I Invited her...” (Kai)

“Kai-chan?…” (Eliz)

“She didn’t do anything wrong! She just want to met you face to face, to say thanks...…Can’t she?”’(Kai)

Yet once again the hidden skill “puppy eye” was used on Eliz.

“Kyahhhhhh!!!! Kai-tan~” (Eliz)

After seeing her beloved son’s face Eliz couldn’t resist but to cuddle him as if he was some kind of plush animal

It was super effective! Kai said to himself as he gave Eri a thumbs up.

But there was no reaction coming from Eri, she has been looking down while murmuring something ever since she couldn’t answer Eliz’s question.

“…i…sor…E” (Eri)

“By the way mom….”(Kai)

Kai began to whisper into his mother’s ear.

“Uhm~What is it Kai-tan~?” (Eliz)

Eliz said it with a delight looking face and tone.

“How could you forget the face of whose you saved?!” (Kai)

“......uhmmmm..” (Eliz)

“Mommy have bad memories!” (ELIZ)

Eliz ended her line together with a *teehee pero~~*

A cross popping vein suddenly appeared on Kai’s forehead as he heard Eliz’s half assed answer.

After whispering to each other for a while, the pair has finally reached the final conclusion…

Eri’s murmuring soon came to an end as Eliz called out for her.

Eliz began to scratch her forehead as she was trying to say something which left Eri behind with a curious face.

“Sorry Eri-chan….But I don’t think that I remember you, after all….” (Eliz)

Eri murmured the words then began to look down with a bitter smile.

“So… As an apologize, I will forgive you for destroying our gate...how does that sounds?” (Eliz)

“Really?!” (Eri)

“Uhm!”(Eri)

Kai let out a sigh of relief as he looked at the scene.

It work out somehow huh? Or so he said to himself.

“However! I won’t forgive you for seducing my son, to get inside our village.” (Eliz)

Eliz said it with crossed arm and a intimidating look on her face.

“S-s-S-Seducing Kai?!?” (Eri)

Eri’s face suddenly become red as she heard Eliz’s words...As for Kai, he is now standing still with a shocking face.

After an hour of explaining things, Eliz has finally been convinced by Kai and Eri’s words.

“I see...So basically my son found your starving and helped you out of pity, right?!~” (Eliz)

“That is a bit…” (Kai)

“Ugh……I am sorry...” (Eri)

Eri couldn’t help but to feel more pathetic and helpless about herself after receiving such words from Eliz…

“Not only that you stayed here alone after my warning, you even got lost, and relied on my son...Luckily for you this time, Kai-chan was there but what about next time it happens? As a master class. No as an adventurer aren’t you ashamed of yourself to make such a simple mistake?” (Eliz)

One after another words was fired directly toward Eri which made her completely speechless after realizing how she much she has been relying on Kai…

“I am saying this for your own good Eri-chan, After many years of being an adventurer myself...I have seen many of my comrade fallen right in front of my eyes…” (Eliz)

Eliz said it with a grim expression on her face.

“Not that Idoubt your ability. To reach the master class at such young age, you are truly talented.” (Eliz)

Eri’s face became red as she received praises from her Idol.

“However! You are still young and lack a lot of experiences...Making rash decisions can lead to fatal, and even death...Make sure to never do something like that again, you hear?” (Eliz)

Eliz’s voice suddenly turn soft at the end, as she gave Eri a gentle smile.

“*Sobs y..es!” (Eri)

Eri said it with a pair of teary eyes after realized Eliz’s concern.

“Oi, have you heard about the emergency quest?”

“U-uhm…It seems like some of the demi-humans has kidnapped someone from a noble family.”

“Yeah, but to pay that much for this kind of mission, something smells fishy…”

“You are right...But the reward is too good to pass up…”

The noise of people talking in the adventurer guild keep getting louder and louder for each and every second that passed by…Until the voice of a certain someone got their attention.

“Hoo~ now this is interesting.” (??)

The voice came from a tall lizardman with black scales on his body. The man carried a heavy looking long spear on his back together with a bow and some arrows made out of bones.

Despite from being one of the few demi-human in the guild, this guy is very well respected here. Why one may ask, Because he is 1 of the 13 master classes and also an S class adventurer.

“Tet-san! please don’t leave me behind like that!” (???)

A young male voice Suddenly came from behind Tet as he was taking a look of the new request.

“Ah! Sorry my bad, it has been a long time since someone has put this kind of request on the board.” (Tet)

“...So?! Are we going as well?” (??)

A carefree looking young man with blond hair in light clothes slowly walked toward Tet, as he asked him the question.

“Of course, we are! Just take a look at the reward.”(Tet)

“Hmm??~” (??)

The young man came closer to take a look at the board as he heard his partner’s words.

“100 GOLD COINS?!?” (??)

“Aye! And that is only for joining the quest, the noble say that he will pay more later on when the request is done.” (Tet)

“W-what the hell are we doing here then?? Let’s sign up already!” (??)

“Ah! I have already done it.” (Tet)

The young man let out a sigh of relief as he heard his partner’s words.

“Good job, Tet-san!” (??)

He placed his hand on Tet’s shoulder.

“Eh? For what?”(Tet)

“For sign-....Wait don’t tell me that you didn’t count me in!?” (??)

“……Ahh, Sorry… I Forgot…”(Tet)

“No way~~” (??)

The young man fell on all fours as he heard his partner’s answer.

“.......But hey on the bright side, there are not many people doing it at the moment, you can still do it withou-....” (Tet)

The long line of adventures queuing up for the quest suddenly appeared out of nowhere as Tet was trying to finish his line.

“Ah!!?!?” (??)

“Or not…” (Tet)

The sound of a horse running at high speed outside the guild can now be heard, together of the voices of people screaming trying to get out of the way.

The figure of a female in a black cloak can be seen on top of the horse trying her best to get out of the city while being chased by guards.

“DON’T LET HER PASS!” (Guard)

The guards from behind suddenly shouted out as a warning to the gatekeepers in front.

“.......”

“STOP RIGHT THERE!” (Gatekeepers)

The gatekeepers shouted out as they pointed their spears toward the horse in order to stop it from running any further but it was useless against someone who can use magic.

“Burst of wind!” (??)

The guards were forcefully removed from the path by an unseen force as the lady in cloak finished her words.

The guards tried to follow her but they were soon stopped by their captain, as the figure of the lady slowly dissappear inside the dark forest.
